First time won’t be the last time. Seriously good coffee, with a great atmosphere. No frills. No BS. Options for everyone but a SOLID base menu focusing on the quality of the product. Plus, the staff is really cool. (I ordered an espresso and a drip coffee and both were gr8).

So happy to have a place like this in the area :) Ive been coming here almost every day for the past few weeks, and every drink Ive had (from espressos to drips) have been excellent. Even better than the coffee is the staff and ownership. They know their stuff, and theyre super welcoming. If you dont know what youd like, they come with great recommendations. A great place to grab your morning beverage, to hang out and work, and to bring some new energy to the neighborhood!

So far so good, friendly and attentive staff. Good espresso brew. The atmosphere is bright and inviting. Will definitely come back again and support this local business!

I cannot explain how incredible Queen City Cofee Roasters is. The staff is remarkably pleasant and the service is marvelous. I visit the coffee shop to taste their amazing coffee almost daily. The atmosphere of the shop is calming. I have stayed many times to finish schoolwork because it is very peaceful. However, their coffee is the best part! If youre reading this, I encourage you to visit the coffee shop.

Excellent place to stop in! I got the almond buttercup latte and it was very good, kinda tasted like an oatmeal latte. They have milk alternatives, fun drink options, nicely roasted beans, and tasty looking pastries. Great indoor/outdoor seating too.

F&J Service Center is located right next to Queen City Coffee Roasters. So, we enjoy the smell of coffee every single morning. All of our employees shop at the wonderful cafe next door and have had a magnificent experience. The staff is friendly and will provide a satisfying service every time. If youre a coffee-lover, you have to visit this new coffee shop. You will not regret it.

Incredible coffee! I mean it, like REALLY incredible coffee! Staff is super nice, store is clean and rustic. Prices area little steep for the specialty coffees, so cant make those a habit, but well undoubtedly be back. Pay them a visit!

My wife and I order their coffee online. It is fast and convenient.We have tried two different varieties. One is called Papua New Guineaand the other one is a Medium Decaf. The aroma of both coffees are fantastic. And the best part is that when you drink the coffee, the aftertaste is the same as the smell, which is unusal. Most coffees will smell good when you open the package but when you drink them they have a burnt or kind of a bitter aftertaste. But both coffees we have tried from Queen City have remained the same throughout. My wife says Delicious coffee and I say Fantastic Coffee! Who would think such a small place in Plainfield would have the best coffee we have ever tasted?!!

This is easily one of the best cafes I have visited hands down. The fresh coffee is incredible, and you can actually see it being roasted directly behind the counter. I would highly recommend stopping in for a quick caffeine fix.

Great people, great service, and great coffee/baked goods. After going to QC once, I can confidently say I’d never go to Starbucks or a DD. Queen City is quick to serve, personable, and always delivers. Plus it’s a great place to hang out if you have the time to do so!

Amazing vibe and a great music. The coffee was ok. Im not a particular fan of dark roast so to me my latte tasted burned. I would probably go back again if I was was in the area but I wouldnt go out of my way to find it again.

Despite coming here regularly, the coffee has never disappointed me. It is always just as amazing as I remember it to be. Besides the drinks, the staff is warm & welcoming and the cafe is immaculate. It also doesn’t hurt that they support local artists and are active in the Plainfield community!

During my first (and only visit because of Covid), I told the manager that the coffee shop was amazing. He jokingly said, We arent just a coffee shop, we are a Roastery. Now if that isnt pride and passion in their craft, then I dont know what is. Apart from roasting delicious coffee from exotic places like Papua New Guinea, Ethiopia, and Colombia; Queen City Coffee Roasters have dedicated themselves to their customers and local community. They are committed to delivering online orders in a timely manner, going as far as safely delivering your orders to your home, taking all safety precautions. If that wasnt enough of a reason to support them, they began an initiative to support local first responders on the front-lines. For every box of coffee you donate to a local first responder (police, fire, ems, nurses, doctors, etc.) they will match your donation and then deliver the delicious coffee with a thank you to these front line heroes. So give them a chance, call or make an online order and help a local business and or first responder. Now Im going to go and enjoy my new favorite roast.

Great cafe right by the train and police station. Latte was better than NYC. Espresso used was amazing- some of the best flavored espresso Ive ever had. Make this your spot if youre in the area (and even if you arent).

Queen City Coffee has everything you could want in a coffee shop - great coffee (the best I’ve ever had), great people, amazing interior design and a place that makes you want to stay for hours. Coffee drinkers didn’t just get a huge upgrade, Plainfield and the surrounding area did as well.

This is a quaint, minimalist coffee house. They have the basics, but if youre looking for a more expansive menu, this may not be the place for you.Parking isnt super easy. Wherever you can find parking on Watchung Ave, park there. The coffee shop is located around the corner on a side street of Watchung. There is a sign on the sidewalk along Watchung that points you to the coffee shop, which is helpful, but its hard to spot from the road especially when cars are parked along the road.The menu is as minimalist as the atmosphere, which isnt necessarily a bad thing. They have a simple selection, which they seem to do rather well from my experience. They do have baked goods for sale as well, but I didnt get one on my trip.The condiment bar was a downside, though. It was lacking the basics of a good condiment bar. There was no simple syrup, but they did have honey. There werent napkins anywhere to be found. They could have been right in front of my face, but I couldnt find any napkins at or near the condiment bar for the life of me, which isnt ideal.I got an iced latte. It was balanced very well, so I didnt need to add any simple syrup, which is good because there wasnt any anyway.Overall, I liked this place. If Im in the area, I would stop by again.

This is a very big deal located in very small city, it’s not your typical lite and sweet commercialized cup of coffee I was little intimidated at first but the staff wich is very knowledgeable of their products made me very comfortable I now have a completely different perspective of coffee and it’s purpose two words MUST TRY!! Queen City coffee roasters are definitely the start of my day !!
