Buckhead Saloon

Buckhead has been the home of the Pro Bike + Run Running Clubs Holiday Lights Run for the past 4 years and they always take care of us. Jamie and her team are amazing, the bartenders rock and the location is top notch. We had over 300 people there this past Tuesday and they handled it like pros. Beer, food, PA system, pre and post support. We could not ask for anything more. They have hosted several other events for us as well over the years and we would not go anywhere else. We will definitely be back in 2020. Thanks Buckhead team. You are the best.

Great staff! Mackenzie and Mason treat the customers wonderfully. I come down regularly, and do not see myself stopping any time soon! As long as Mackenzie and Mason still work there I’m in. I can get a refreshing& crisp drink and enjoy a wonderful atmosphere. The chicken fingers are delicious! I would recommend trying Marty’s famous sauce!!

Great place to spend a Friday or Saturday with friends. Such a diverse crowd and great specials. Staff is super friendly and literally there is never any trouble like other places in the area. The food is top notch too. 10/10 would recommend

One of the best bars in Pittsburgh. It has everything...location, sports, dancing, fun and a friendly staff, and good food/drinks at the right prices. Highly recommend for a bachelor/bachelorette party or wedding after party! Definitely been to quite a few. I promise you’ll have a good time at Buckhead’s.

The place to be in Station Square. My son, #JustinMiller is a frequent visitor to #buckheadsaloon and he turned us in to this place. Great selection of beverages, friendly staff and a good place to meet people. Go there. Especially if youre 21 -30. The place ROCKS!!

I had the pleasure of working for Sean & Jaimes for several years and after moving away to a new city, I stopped back in for a night out and wasnt disappointed. The staff is energetic and social. Their were changes to the menu which were still delicious. After a few drinks you can see that Buckhead saloon still knows how to throw one of the best parties in Pittsburgh!!

Love the place! Always go for special occasions as they have private booths and fabulous service. The pizza is bomb and drinks are wet! Can’t go wrong with Buckheads!

Love their VIP services! Will get that every single time we go. They have a wonderful selection of music (Im on the older side and they even played my music lol). Would highly recommend!

I have been to Buckhead many times for various functions, Bachelorette and Birthday celebrations, random Lunch & Dinners, and simply to watch sports. The staff, food, and service never disappoints...STELLAR visits from start to finish. A MUST visit in Pittsburgh!

At first glance the place looks like it would be decent, but after ordering it’s clearly obvious that this is a completely amateur restaurant venture that somebody thinks is good. Ordered a drink with tonic and it was made with club soda. Ordered chicken tenders that were anything other than tender. There is clearly no supervision. The chicken was borderline burnt to a crisp and the consistency of a rubber band. How does someone allow that to leave their kitchen?!? Pizza had way too much garlic to be enjoyable. Only reason it got 2 stars is because the waitress was pleasant. You better sit at the bar for a while before you eat here because I don’t think I could be drunk enough to consider the food good. Can’t get the taste of the undercooked and soggy “homemade” potato chips out of my mouth. Bathroom was also disgusting. Good luck!!

Buckhead Saloon was a great place to stop after our company party on the Gateway Clipper. Its tables are large, servers prompt and attentive. We asked for the DJ s music to be turned down for a few minutes while we did some party awards which they accomodated. They had fun dance music and we had a great time. Thank you Buckhead!

It was filthy! After being closed for MONTHS you would think they had plenty of time to clean. The bathrooms were unacceptable and resteraunt was covered in cob webs. All over the antler chandeliers and deer mounts on the wall. Maybe its the look they were going for but just opening after covid-19 I was expecting CLEAN!

Ive been doing happy hours and birthdays at buckheads for years. Great specials, events, staff and owners! We Always have a great time.

Went here with my sister a few months ago had an amazing time so Im headed back tonight to celebrate my birthday. Would visit more but i live an hour and half away. Great atmosphere and friendly engaging staff....so much fun!!!

I love this place. My friends and I always get wild and crazy, buying shots and bottles all night when we get the VIP cabins. Treated like kings by the staff, too. Definitely recommend.

Can’t believe it has taken me so long to write a review! I started going to Buckheads before Jaime and Sean took over running the place and while it’s always been a fun atmosphere, they really improved it! The food alone is to die for especially for a bar! I have had vip seating and regular just walk into the place to have a drink and both are really great. The service is always friendly but professional as well as quick as it can be depending on how busy the place is. I am always greeted by a friendly and smiling face that makes you feel instantly at home. Would highly recommend this place for anyone going out for a good time as well as for any parties! Visiting Pittsburgh attending a work conference, my assistant and I ventured out the night we got there (April 30, 2019) for dinner. There was evidentially more business than expected this Tuesday evening as the restaurant was understaffed with only one employee in the kitchen. We were very patient for quite a while and tried to be understanding, the food wasnt all that great but we were hungry and had to get going so we ate. By the time we got our bill, we quickly paid it (leaving extra cash tip since were only allowed 10% on the card) without question and took off to get where we needed to be. Fast forward to a month later when my county of employment gets their Visa statement and it shows 2 beers on this dinner bill. I have been employed with this county for 22 1/2 years and certainly know you dont charge any alcoholic beverages to the county credit card; but regardless, I absolutely HATE beer as does my assistant, so I know we didnt get beer that night. When I called Buckhead Saloon to inquire about a refund, I was told they would check into it and call me back. Three phone calls and two weeks later I finally spoke with someone who rudely tells me they cant refund everyone that calls and says they didnt get something on their bill. WHAT? How often does that really happen? This wasnt a personal credit card, it was a government credit card, its not like Im trying to scam someone. This is a piss-poor way to do business; I too am in the hospitality business part-time and this charge would have definitely been reversed or refunded. I had to pay the county back for the faulty charge. I hope whoever did order the Blue Moon and Redhead beers enjoyed their free beer; youre welcome!

Last night we ended my sisters bachelorette party at the Buckhead Saloon. A group of 5 were able to get quick, kind and constant service for 2 hours straight. The music and atmosphere was amazing! We had such an amazing time! Shout out to Travis, he did amazing! I would definitely recommend this place...

Wouldnt recommend for a college event or for anyone who is on the younger side. We spent money to be there and they treated us terribly. I completely understand having no tolerance for underage drinking, and even enforcing it as strictly as they do. Im 21 and have no reason to care about that. However, there is no reason to speak to any individual the way they spoke to the members of the group I was in. You can be strict and look out for your business without treating people with disrespect. Since we were in college, the staff thought that they could treat us disrespectfully belittle us. Buckheads you can respond with the contract agreements etc. but the only thing I had a problem with was the way I was spoken to. I am young but I still deserve basic human decency as I believe anyone should. BTW so funny that buckheads somehow received 14 5 star reviews in the course of 2 hours?

Fantastic meal and service Pittsburgh cheese steak and the hand breaded pierogies were outstanding large soft pretzel was the best I ever had use beer cheese dip if your in Pittsburgh go to station square and try them out you wouldnt be sorry !

Fun place to get together with friends. Theres usually a cover, but they also have a DJ or a band. The bathrooms need updated and cleaned.

One of my favorite places to go, especially before concerts and Steelers games. The nachos and pizzas are the best!!

Had a few birthdays here and I loved it ! Great atmosphere. They provide plenty of bartenders so you never have to wait too long even on a busy day. Music is great. Always end up coming back !

Very large space outfitted like a cabin out in the woods. Stuffed animal heads surround the space. Menu is rather limited, which is very surprising. Standard bar items which one would expect. Ok on the flavor front, but it took a very long time to get the food served even though the place was empty at the time.

Absolutely amazing. The bbq is fantastic. Portion size is huge. Prices are average. Atmosphere is so relaxing.. Its a new favorite... I recommend highly to check this place out..

The music was good. The service was good, except for this one guy with a beard wearing a blue jacket. He was really rude and seemed to get off on authority. Perhaps he needs more customer service training.

Definitely not the place to go for a large group event. Black Xs were drawn on hands (and the clumsy bouncer drew partially on my white dress shirt - disgraceful!) for all under-21 attendees with cheap marker that washes off with soap in sinks - multiple people in our party got physically escorted out (no questions asked) when the marker came off after washing hands in the bathroom. Forced to leave jackets and other belongings inside, shoved outside into the snow with no jacket. Did not even attempt to drink or order alcohol, terrible staff with a superiority complex.Regardless of the events of the night, the venue is subpar. Zigzag airport-style divider ropes blocked off random parts of the venue, including multiple bathrooms. Was a maze to walk around in there, felt very cramped! Will not be returning here ever again, thats for sure.

Food was average and service was decent. Watching sports was terrible since they would rather play music than the game audio. Not recommended.

All the staff was very nice & attentive. We were there for an event. Food was good but was lukewarm. I know its hard with a large group though.

Wings were good. Shredded beef nachos were tasty. Waitress was awesome.

I wish I could give half stars because it would be a 3.5. I had the buffalo sammich it was really good. I would not recommend the chips. My wife got the pepperoni rolls and they were really good also. The service was mediocre.

Went ice skating in the burgh and figured why not try somewhere new. When we walked in around 1 wasn’t a soul in sight, that should of been the first sign. After waiting for someone to talk to us we sat down and got settled in. I ordered a burger which sounded good at the time. When it came out, the order was wrong and I had to go find our waitress to tell her. The best part of my burger were the pickles. Possibly the bun. The burger itself tasted like it’s been frozen too long, homemade my a!$. Honestly would rather of had something from McDonald’s or Burger King. Wanna know the best part about it? My bill was $40 for two freezer burnt burgers and some fries. No discount or anything was applied, waitress seemed like she had better things to do, I will not be coming back. This is the first review I’ve ever had to write and not that I like to complain but come on. $40 for two burgers that tasted horrible? Go to hard rock down the road and save yourself the disappointment.

We always have a great time at Buckhead Saloon and the staff is always amazing & accommodating! We decided to hold our wedding after party here and we along with all of our guests continued the night with bottles of champagne, drinks, & shots; having the time of our lives!!!!

We had a party of 10. Only two other tables were occupied. My food came when everyone else was done eating and my wifes food never did come. The waiter explained the kitchen was slammed (remember two other tables)

Delicious salad bar and carved meats! Expensive, but if youre a meat eater or enjoy good food, its worth it. Gets very busy.

Nice, beautiful, cozy sports bar inside the Station Square shopping center in Pittsburgh.Many kinds of craft and national beer, bottled ones as well as draft beers.The food is also delicious. I ordered a real big pizza, and even I can eat quite a lot, I couldnt finish this monster pizza. But it was very tasty anyway.Come in, find out and feel the casual atmosphere of the Buckhead Saloon!

Huge portions of good bar food. Theyre very good at stepping up their game when people are there efore attending an event. They understand youre in a hurry, and they get you in and out quickly.

We walked in to the saloon and were greeted with “have a seat anywhere”. We sat at a tall table by the bar seats. We waited and no one came over to wait on us. The guys at the table next to us left and their table was bussed immediately, but still no acknowledgement that we were waiting. After 10 minutes we got up and left, and on our way we passed a waitstaff talking on her phone, and just outside the front door two other staff members talking. Very disappointing, they were not busy so no excuse. We won’t be back.

Ive had better frozen pizza than theirs. Bland. Bad crust. Nachos were one note. Tasted only bottled bbq sauce. Would not eat there again

Was here for a friends birthday on a Saturday night. We were staying at the Sheraton. Walked in and the energy felt promising... $5 cover was annoying though. We got drinks and found a table. Then, the music was all over the place, hard rap to country to pop to oddness. Found out they were doing requests. $5 cover to listen to song requests? We left soon after to go back to the hotel. We had a better them amongst ourselves with our own music. Never going here again.

I wasnt impressed with the food. Waiter was okay. I went with a group of seven and I think we were about 7 other customers in the restaurant. We all placed drink orders and ordered nachos for an appetizer. They were delicious. None of our food came out at the same time. I think three people were done eating and I wasnt even served yet. Then, a waiter came to me and said they couldnt make my sandwich and I needed to order something else. This was after almost every one had been served their food. The restaurant did comp my meal but it was cold and wasnt very good.

This is a great location to have a beer and watch a game with some friends. I visited this location during the winter time and it was extremely warm inside the building where I wanted to be outside in a more comfortable environment. Aside from the temperature not being quite so perfect it was a very clean and fun location. The pricing is fair and what you get for the price is adequate.

In from out of town, stopped for lunch and this restaurant looked promising. We had to seat ourselves after being ignored at the hostess station, sat at the bar, had to ask for food menus. I asked if I could get the nachos without jalapenos and was told the food had to be served as stated on the menu, I was told that it would be too stressful for the kitchen. Ive never heard of not being able to leave off jalapenos off nachos. Needless to say we didnt order food. Final sign that they didnt want our business, the bartender must have gone on break, we had to wait after finishing our drinks to ask for the check.

Yikes, not sure about this place. Sat down to get something to eat and have a glass of wine and she wanted a credit card or pay as you go. Huh? Pay as you go on dinner? She said the place gets busy and apparently it’s a bit seedy (people take off on their bills). So I didn’t even try the food...I was more worried about personal safety. Retreated back to the hotel!

Its a good place for young generations and I can see why its fun. There is good music to dance on. But if you are a little older and Dont like drunk people, then its not the place for you.

I worked with Jamie to organize an event and couldn’t have been more pleased. She did everything possible to make the event just what we wanted.

Great local place. I visited and got some take out. Staff was very friendly, provided me with detailed descriptions of menu items and their recommendations. My food was made timely, hot and good. I sat at the bar while I waited and was offered a complimentary soda. Everything was neat, tables wiped down and restroom were clean. Id definitely recommend this place for a fun night out.

Stopped in on the way to Heinz Field to grab a bite. Good, healthy portions and great atmosphere! Would go again when in the area.

Even though they werent that busy, it took a while before our table was waited on. Once we were waited on things were good, until we wanted our third round of drinks. We were there for Seinfeld trivia night. It was a great time.

Trivia was fun and it was easy to hear the questions. During normal times I would say the music plays too loud to hear anything, and service was a little slow last time I went.

My wife and I walked in to the Buckhead Saloon at around 6:30 last night. We were greeted promptly and seated immediately. Our server Sarah from Down Under was fantastic!The food was served promptly and was very good. We never had to track Sarah down for refills as she was always stopping by to check on us. I watched the rest of the staff and they were very attentive to their customers as well. I dont get to Pittsburgh as often as I would like but when I do Buckhead Saloon will be on my list. Thanks for the evening. Do you do live music?

Horrible....waitress took our order and disappeared....had to ask the bartender to get our food and drink order (food order was wrong) ...same thing happened to the table next to us....we were not compensated at all. Would give it no stars if I could.

The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. The food menu could use a little sprucing up, but the Reuben is a good safe choice. I also enjoyed the Arsenal cider on tap. Im glad this place is still hanging on.

Went here for a birthday party. There were hardly any other people there. There were at least 7 bar tenders behind the bar but none of were interested in providing service they were more interested in dancing and texting on their phones and talking to each other. The arm bands they made us wear must have signified to the bar staff not to wait on us. At $7 a shot it was probably good that the service was slow. Not a good experience.

Came to town for a wedding with some friends, the waitresses were really nice, but the manager was unfriendly, rude, and refused service. Go to Homerun Harry’s instead to be treated better.Edit / reply to establishment comment:LOL That is a straight up lie! I was one of the patrons who was kicked out. I provided my ID several times and the servers were unable to tell me why my ID was fake. When I asked what could be done to prove that I was 21 (I’m 24) several large bouncers crowded my personal space and demanded that I leave with no room for discussion. As a result of this, I walked out because they I felt like they were going to physically remove me and I feared for my safety.I suppose what you wanted from me was to be so adamant that I was 21+ that your staff could physically assault me and then be taken to court??

Not too bad, went before Steelers game, it was busy as you would expect before a game. The nachos were HUGE! Ended up going back after the game too and got a pizza. The pizza was a little too saucy for me, but it hit the spot at the time.
