If you arent aware who Johnny Angel is, hes the singer for Jonny Angel & the Halos! & Guess what Johnny was there running the joint. It was great! This is a fantastic little museum & shop to check out. & Another free one but donations are always a great help. Definitely if your in the area definitely check it out!

!!!!! Horrible!!!! way to run a business that has lots of rave online. Hours of operation should not be listed if they are never open!! Tried several times different days. No one was ever there. No special signage saying why they were closed. A couple of ladies standing outside another business said they are hardly ever open. And the postman said the same. We came along distance to find this out. CHANGE YOUR WEBSITE TO REFLECT YOUR TRUE HOURS OF OPERATION!! Phone is never answered either.

Went here today for the first time with my husband. Loved everything about this place. Got to me Johnny and even got a picture with him. This place definitely made both of us very happy. Get out and take a trip to Pittsburgh to see this place. You wont be disappointed. LOVE LOVE LOVE

Johnny Angel himself was there when I visited. He was talking super loudly on the phone about some drummer not using another drummers kit at a gig. He was name dropping and generally being distracting from the various memorabilia that is scattered throughout the museum. There are a lot of neat things to see, but the impromptu performance on the phone was not that great.

Interesting place to experience and learn about soulful old american music!

Closed on Mondays and Tuesday. Fun place.
