Worth a detour if taxidermy your thing. very cool place filled to the rafters with stuff....you almost dont know where to look! The lady of the manor was really ljvely and informative! Dont forget to make your donation!i almost gave one leas star: I dont think kids will necessarily like this place. the kids kn our tour were ....uncomfortable.I know LOADS of artists, goths, alt kinds of folks that ISIS the right place for.keep your eyes out for the various mermaids!

Went with a group of friends for my friends birthday. This place was so much fun. Theres so much to see and hear about and the lovely lady who gave us a tour was wicked cool. Def recommend.

Had a tour on Saturday and just wow. Love the collection and we really geeked out over the couple. Almost enough to give you faith in humanity to see two people who find each other like that. Saw old Halloween masks I had as a kid in the kitchen. Rippin good time, get there

I was able to take a taxidermy class for the day. our group stuffed some rabbits. super chill and easy atmosphere, not to mention gorgeous curios all over the place. some of the friendliest folks youll ever meet as well.theres a piece of interest for nearly anyone out there but if you arent a fan of tight quarters or death in general, its probably not for you.

Great place to get your creep on

We visited the Trundle Manor this afternoon. To begin with, we were thrilled that they make appointments so quickly, as this was the only weekend we had available for the next month & were very much hoping to be able to visit right away. Velda was informative, and clearly enjoys what she does, and dressing for the part. There were so many interesting things to see, I felt it would take hours to REALLY look at everything. The tour included the entry way where we enjoyed a musical tumor, two other rooms that were absolutely of items, the kitchen and the cars. We thought this was a fun and interesting and something fun to do for an afternoon.

This is the absolute best hidden gem in all of Pittsburgh! Definitely a must see.

Trundle Manor is definitely worth the trip. Velda is a gracious & delightful guide through the treasures of this magical place.

This was such a cool experience! My friend and I went today and Velda was so wonderful. She was so well spoken and welcoming and her recount of how she acquired the items in her place was so so awesome! I cant stop talking about it!!

I loved everything about this place. Velda was awesome And she told us all of the stories behind the items they had on display. They have some really cool stuff if your into just about anything a Lil weird. Im definitely looking forward to attending an event here soon.

I left 2 voicemails in August and filled out the contact for on their website and never got a return call to schedule a tour. I wasnt sure if they were still in business and then noticed other reviewers leaving recent feedback, so I left a 1-star review based on my poor experience of no communication explaining the confusion in my first draft of this review. Then I gave one last attempt to make contact by sending a text message in September. I received a quick response and was able to schedule a tour. But after some more texts back and forth about my review and feedback regarding their website about my experience, the communication again went downhill and they cancelled my tour. It was unfortunate that this is how things progressed, so hopefully others will have better luck with the communication that was off from the start for us.

The lord and lady of the manor are such amazing folks. Pittsburgh is lucky they have opened their home to the public so that we can enjoy their weird and wonderful collection of creepy cool oddities. Book a tour and see for yourself!

Different.That is the word I come away with.Its a place you have to go to and see for yourself. No description will do it justice.If youre into the macabre, or quirky, the strange, the bizarre, the whimsical, steampunk, or just plain taxidermy, youll be interested.Also a few chopped roadsters and a surprise or two.

Are you weird? Do you like weird things? Does the idea of seeing a fishdoberman taxidermy or a brain in a jar interest you? Well, look no further. Its like the Addams family has relatives, and they are fabulous!!! Just two mad scientists in love who thought their house looked like a museum, so they made it one! Its worth your while to see. The tour is about a half hour or so, and they just take donations in the form of money or liquor.

Even though the space is small, there is way more than anyone could take in at a single visit and my of town guest loved it.

This one I didnt actually visit, but cleaned it out after the previous occupant committed suicide in the basement. Good for a creepy fun time

Its my home away from home. Mr ARM and Velda take you on a wonderful and fascinating tour of the home and House of Oddities. Its a tour of a life time.

If you want an experience that is out of the norm this is the place. 1st look at the mansion will put a scare into your body and the experience builds from there.

I didnt know what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised. Its a house owned by a couple who make and collect all kinds of macabre, steampunk, and funky.....stuff? Things? There was so much to look at. I would like to go back to one of the events. Its just gun. Suggested donation of $20 a group. You have to call or text for a tour. Parking on street.

This is a great offbeat stop, basically a tour of a couples main floor with all kinds of oddities. Lots of taxidermy and fun weird things.
