Cool spot well worth a visit

This is a nice space to take in the work of local artists. The current exhibition of Swoons work is what brought me here, but I stayed from the sense of heritage each piece exudes.There are also art workshops held periodically. These sound amazing-esp the Kreepy Dolls one! But are a wee bit pricey for me. Wish there was a student discount :P

New space for Contemporary Craft. Excellent gallery area. Nice classrooms for fiber art and metal art. Pretty gift shop with a variety of art.

Gallery has very unique and creative modern art pieces, totally free to view! The store had some beautiful items for sale (dishes, decor, etc.). I only wish there had been something in my price range! Friendly and welcoming staff.

Such a cool place to wander into while youre strolling about Pittsburghs strip district. It costs nothing to enter, and youre sure to see things that will pique your interest. Artworks can be purchased, or just admired, as there are many unique and unusual pieces. Check it out...

This place is worth your time. Fantastic exhibits featuring local, national, and international craft artists. Wonderfully curated shop full of beautiful hand-crafted items, from jewelry to pottery to artwork. Sweet drop-in studio for hands-on making and exploring. Workshops that will teach you skills you never knew you could acquire so fast, and taught by actual artists.I could go on, but how about you just go there and trust me on this one.

The gallery space is large, modern, and open. The shop has a lot of unique items for reasonable prices. We havent explored their classes but there are a lot of different craft opportunities here for all skill levels.

Great place to view and purchase local artist. I like the road signs turned into trays and clip boards. Art on view rotates.

I come here anytime I am within 100 miles of it. I always find something I need.

We visited last spring and I was amazed at the wonderful exhibition. Everything from furniture, fiber, ceramics, etc., all of which could have been in any fine art exhibition. The work really pushed the boundaries between craft and fine art.Another plus was the gift shop. Quite affordable given the quality of the works. I was blown away with the place.Karin Kirulis

Love this place when we can get to it. HATE that it is closed on Sundays in December when we want to shop. We cant get to all the places we want to get to on the weekend and always want to go to the Strip on Sundays instead of Saturdays. Youd think they would have figured out that they are cutting themselves out of a prime selling day by closing on Sundays, especially in December! So we never get any gifts from there for Christmas. Too bad.
