Me and my family went here last weekend. Overall it was a great experience. Its a wonderful place to bring your kids. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good day/night.
It was a breath of fresh air. They have quite a few games for such a small area. If you want the old-school arcade vibe, its definitely the place to go in Cena. They even have a leader board too.
Hello reviewers,Wayback arcade is near perfect, but it falters at points. If your looking for a actual arcade experience this is it. So lets talk about what it gets right. The arcade has most game cabinets from the early 90s and late 80s titles like Super Mario, X-Men, TMNT, Marvel vs Capcom 2, Frogger, Pac-Man, Root Beer Tapper, and House of the Dead 2 grace their floors. They also have a emulator on a tv with titles from almost every nes, snes, atari, sega genesis, sega cd, neo geo, game gear, and two or three other systems Ive never heard of before. There are even really good pinball cabinets too.The price is also amazing. For 12 dollars you can play all day. This includes leaving and returning later on in the day. The machines themselves are in free to play mode so no extra fees unless you want a drink or snack. They also have specials like half off Mondays for college students, and BOGO Tuesdays.Lastily, negatives the arcade is not perfect, one main point is it is cramped not enough room, which their working on. While the day worker was amazing, the night workwr
Cool arcade owned/operated by really cool people. 10/10 would recommend
First time with young Grandsons. We all loved it!!!
Awesome place!!! Wish it was a little bigger but the games reminded me what it was like to be in my teen years again. It also allow me to show my daughter and play the games with her that I grew up on. Thanks for having a great place for me and my daughter to spend time together in.
Had a great time! They have a really good collection of retro games and a very friendly staff.
Its great to see an arcade open in the area. I was impressed with the variety of arcade cabinets and pinball machines. The atmosphere is fun and the staff are really friendly. Highly recommend if you enjoy old school games.
A Blast from the Past but Better! Wayback’s Arcade is awesome!! Anyone that ever had an interest in video games back in the day, this is your place. The best part is, you don’t have to worry with quarters, tokens or a change machine anymore. You pay $12 @ the door and you can play until your fingers bleed!! My first visit was with my nine year old, for his friends birthday party. I have no doubt now that he’ll definitely want his birthday at Wayback’s now.
Literally the best thing to do in Pineville! Tuesday is family day and buy one get one! What a deal! My favorite thing there are the pinball machines. Bathrooms clean, machines well-kept, and friendly staff. Also I work there, so that’s a big plus! Come out and have some fun!
This arcade is one of the few things to do in Pineville, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t awesome! Wayback’s is a great experience! 80s music, classic movies, and classic games—it’s fun for everyone! The best thing is that you just pay the entry fee and everything is free-play after that! Owners and staff are quick to help and very friendly. Best place to go in town!
13$ and some change per person after tax. Very retro. Enjoyable.
Awesome place to go have some fun! Tons of old games and you cant beat the price!
Cost to much but was kinda ok with all the old school games .they definitely need a bigger place . But was a ok place to burn about an hour .
