Friendly staff, clean park with happy, welcoming residents. Nice pool and clubhouse as well as picnic tables at each site. Reasonable rates and rental units offered. Wifi better than average as well as decent cell and TV signal. Close to shopping and easy access to highway.
My fam and I were originally scheduled to stay two weeks. But since or new apartment wasnt ready we ended up staying a full month. The park is clean and the employees were great. They have huge pool that we took advantage of fully. There Is A pond on one side of the property for fishing. Not much to fish for but A good time killer. Thepark was far from. One swing set falling apart and a see-saw that has seen better days. They do have a put put course. Nothing special, not really been kept up. Again, a good time killer. You can rent an RV if available or a cabin. We had A cabin. One room, one bathroom- 4 people...for a month! The beds were not comfortable at all. There is A queen and bunk beds in the cabin wer had. They did have free wifi and direct tv. Which was A life saver. With all of that said, I would recommend this place if you have your own RV. Or its only 2 people in a cabin. The girl that checked us in and out was very helpful at accommodating our needs and worked with us when she could. (Thanks Angel for all of your help!) The main reason I have 4 instead of 5 stars was bc of the uncomfortable beds. When you have 2 adults and two children in one room for a month, a comfy bed means a while lot!
We evacuated from Hurricane Laura and set up here for a little over a week. The spot we had was very nice, big and clean! My kids loved the pool! This is a great place for a RV Vacation! On-site laundry and bathhouse too.
This is a very very nice RV park - easy access in & out. Loads of wonderful amenities for families and groups.
Its a very spacious place, the staff is friendly alot of things wasnt working when we rented the building. The Ac was broke and some of the lights didnt work.
This is our first time staying here and we love it. The park is nice and quiet, the site pads are level and spacious. The park is located about an hour from New Orleans, LA and an hour from Laurel, MS. This make it nice for site seeing. Our plans are to stay here for 2 months. There are a lot of sites to see and there are good local restaurants to eat, to choose from. Would defiantly recommend Sun Roamers RV Resort to all our friends and family members.

This is one of my favorite campgrounds. It is not very expensive, there is plenty to do, and it feels secluded despite being 5 minutes from the interstate.The pool is perfect on hot summer days, and the stock pond is perfect for beginner fishers.My only complaint pertains to some of the live-ins. numerous times over our stays they just walk right through peoples sites with no respect towards the campers space.

Were always thankful to get an overnight site when we need it and this park is one we could stay at for a while. Great front desk staff, family friendly, wide level sites and lots of amenities. We recommend.
The pool and party pavilion are nice
Had a wonderful vacation with my parents. They pick up your trash daily and the pool is amazing! A little loud on the weekends as they rent out the pool to locals but very quiet during the week.

Long term stay. Friendly staff, awesome pool. Staff and owner very helpful and timely. Grass gets mowed once a week, sites are elevated, gravel or concrete. Clean and shady, great laundry access. Best RV Park around, that includes Slidell and rest of Northshore and Picayune area.

This place was awful. My 15 year old daughter and I stayed here for three months only to be harassed and in the end stolen from. We had 3 days left on our lease and the management authorized for all of our belongings to be thrown into the dumpster. Bottom line, if youre not white and married these people will treat you like trash.
Enjoyed it up until a worker got rude and started arguing with me starting mess with ma and other people. She got a manager and it was all resolved with a NORMAL TONE CONVO. with the manager. That worker was so rude I had to leave and while I’m getting my stuff she kept going so good luck if u go. I don’t recommend coming if that lady’s still working there
Love Sunroamers! Excellent staff and owner! Make you feel at home! Has very clean pool, mini golf, lake and camping grounds are very well maintained! Laundry room and bathroom/showers are always kept very clean! Would highly recommend!
My wife and I go to the SunRoamers RV Resort three or more times per year with a group called The Good Tyme Campers.The Owner, Mr Robin Poirier and his right hand, Ms. Angel will go out of there way to make your stay enjoyable.We utilize the large Clubhouse to prepare our meals and the dinning room to eat our meals. We also play games and socialize with the other members in the Clubhouse.Other forms of entertainment includes a large swimming pool, a pond for fishing, horseshoes, miniature golf and a Chapel for private meditation.

Everything about this place was awful. The bathrooms were a gross mess always dirty with old soap left in the shower stalls and the toilets sometimes smeared with feces. The staff was rude and very intrusive. I even heard a group of them bad mouthing the campers. They have a pool but it was consistently crowd to the point of being not usable. Half washing machines and dryers dont work along with all the exercise equipment. After a hard rain the place floods making the bath and washroom unusable because they flood. There is a ton of traffic in and out of their. Got to know some of the local people and most them feel the place is a ghetto and after my stay there I would have to agree. If your looking a place the parking lot of Wal-Mart would be better.

It has good amnities, peaple throw pool birthday partys,theres a indoor place to rent,it has a chapel also to rent out,golf putt putt,they have pot luck dinner for campers you bring a dish of food and so does others,you can stay here monthly for however as long as you want.they have free coffee in the business office,the rent here a month is $495.00.

This place has a pool, fishing, and mini golf veterans and their families swim at no charge, I appreciate places that offer paid in full to military, places like this are the MVP in their community.

Had a nice stay at Sunroamers, trash picked up daily and sites were also cleaned. Many sites were poured concrete or raised gravel. Full hookups, staff asked daily if we needed anything. Pool looked great and you can fish in the large pond. We had 42 units in our gathering no complaints.

I lived in this town for over 20 years and never knew this place even existed. A friend told me about it when we were talking about fishing spots. Toom the kids there this weekend and had a great time! The pool area was nice and bathrooms were clean. Then we went fishing and that was really nice. Big clean pond with shade and picnic tables and grills. Only caught one fish and it was small. We will defiantly return. Didnt get a chance to do the putt putt golf bc it started to look like rain. Also planning on renting a cabin probably to spend an all day thing. I didnt talk to staff, but my husband said the lady there was nice. And we didnt have staff following us around and didnt feel watched. As some places you do. So that was nice as well.

RV Park is very clean and has wide streets. Camp site was gravel and dirt... These sites are level and long enough for our 40ft. 5th wheel and truck. Grocery store and restaurants are nearby... Site had 30 + 50 amp service, and picnic table., real big pool. We only stayed 2 nights... We would stay here again.

I recently spent my third time at Sun Roamers, they have very friendly and helpful staff. This has to be at the top of my list as the best we have ever stayed in, with one exception if you use satellite, remember there are lots of pine trees and depending on your choice of sites you may not get a signal. We stayed in a 40 ft MH.

Great quality RVs ..with reasonable prices. Possibly needs to not lock all the RVs during open hours. They do this so you have no choice but talk to the lurking salespersons awaiting your arrival at any given time. Then that salesperson will not just let you look inside but you have to be given their card,they want your name and number even when told your just looking. Then once you give that info. They call and call and call only stopping when you are forced to get mean wuth them because a simple not now or im not interested does not ever suffice
