This was such a fun and unexpectedly beautiful location for an elopement! The mountains were so green, it almost looked like Hawaii! We had the honor of taking photos for an Arizona mountain elopement, and this park had the wild look we were going for but with easy drive up access for the bride + groom! Highly recommend for hiking and/or elopements! :) The views were simply stunning!
Great trail! Not to busy. Clean restrooms.Plenty of places to explore. Pretty good climb/hike. May be difficult with small kids.
Second time going and always an amazing experience but this time the summit was closed due to construction but you can still experience the amazingness of Dobbins lookout and the scenic views just not from the very top of the mountain.
One of the best view point in Phoenix. Leads you directly to high elevation where you could see Mesa Scottsdale and Phoenix. Best part is you could drive all the way to summit. Sunset is my favorite time to visit as Phoenix sky goes crazy during sunset time. Name the color will be able to spot on sky. Soon after sunset you will have opportunity to enjoy the downtown lights. Final tip is ensure you drive in before 7pm as drive-in gate closes. Drive-out can be done anytime.Happy Outing!Regards,Vishwas
Great sunset view
Awesome night view of city . Love it !
I CANT WAIT FOR THE RENOVATION TO BE DONE IT WILL BE GREAT
Visited for the first time and loved the view, make sure you come very early before the sunset to see the transition. And you dont get to park your car if you try after 6 pm, so come early and park at the top or do the hike from base. AFAIK, no restrooms at the top, so be ready.(I was waiting to park my car for 15-20 minutes and missed the actual sunset)
This was really cool. I didnt know it existed. You can over look Phoenix from here. The drive is a little rough uphill but the view at the top is worth it. Keep driving. The lookout is at the end of the road. You will know when you made it and there are bathrooms up there as well.
The view from the top is beautiful. One of the best place to get good clicks for your Instagram.....
Very nice place.
Beautiful look out. Would have given it 5 stars, but the drive up scared the pants off me. Im afraid of hights
Nice lookout good for pictures. Right before yo go to the top there’s quite a few covered picnic areas, and a bathroom area as well. It was cool
Dobbins lookout is closed right now because of maintenance. Will get open again in Fall 2020.
Great little look out beautiful building
Great views of the city. A great place to go at night. around Christmas time is even better because you can see lights everywhere.
Beautiful, pictures cannot do it justice. Just gorgeous.
Great place to go take in the view over the Valley! Winding road going up to the lookout. Parking during the week is fine. If you are going about an hour before sunset on the weekends, you will want to get there a little early. Restrooms are available.
It was amazing views when you reached the top. If you even a little bit apprehensive driving down a mountain, which normally I am not, do not go to the tip. Going up was not bad, quite scarey coming down.
The most beautiful lookout point in Phoenix. I grew up in this area. Theres no place like it in Phoenix.
Never been there but sounds cool .
Drove up not to long ago and was was closed due to capacity..look forward to go back!
To be quite honest; it’s a pretty nice view but there are better views to be had in the valley - but the drive is the fun part; faster the better lol
If you are traveling and looking for places to have an adventure you should visit Dobbins lookout, it haves a really nice view!
Spectacular view
One of the best place in Phoenix to watch the sunset ... You get a birds eye view of the downtown
Great view and ride
Excellent view.. already went many times.. wish to go again n agin..
Amazing view of the Sun Valley cities
The spot as such offers an excellent panoramic view of the beautiful landscapes & the mountain ranges surrounding Phoenix. For those curious to explore the mountain stretches in the distant sight, the efforts made by the government doesnt go unnoticed. You can sure see a 360 degree dial kind of an installation that indicates the names of the mountains spread in each direction. The setting sun litting the whole valley in golden light is a sight to watch. You dont want to miss it. Maybe the beauty here had attracted way too many tourists that the crowd is extremely high in the evenings. You would be lucky to get a parking spot. Also, looking inside oneself gets a little tough with the crowd despite the peace the whole set up naturally offers, you try a little harder, its yours. I had been with my family and we all enjoyed it. I took my flask with a very well boiled tea powder and milk and the experience was nothing less a meditation in itself.
A great venue to take a relaxing break from the busy day while overlooking the vastness of Phoenix.
Took my wife here for a little picnic. You need to be very careful driving up and down the road as it is very skinny and some people drive a little wild. Just drive slow and carefully and youll be fine. Its a great place with an amazing view. It was overcast and very windy when we went so Im not sure if it is usually windy there or not. Highly recommend going to relax and spend some time with someone you love.
Well maintained. Gorgeous desert city scenery especially at sunset until dark. We always take visiting family and friends up here. Could use functioning telescopes for those interested in looking for specific spots in the valley.
This popular destination is about 40 minutes from downtown, including the 15 minutes drive from the park entrance up a winding paved road. The lookout is crowded around sundown, but there is space to walk around and look at cacti or sit on rocks to look at the sunset and the greater Phoenix area.
The ride to the top is steep but beautiful. There are railings on the roads. The views are breaktaking. Be prepared with water as there are no stores when you reach the lookout.
Had a great time with family.
Great views
Amazing view
Nice place!
We were there for the sunset, amazing! Im sure the sunrise would be just as spectacular

Nice place to visit
Awesome views of Desert and distant Phoenix
Awesome place that is close to the valley to visit, a bit crowded, and the road up to it is narrow
No thank you. We went on a Sunday and this place was overcrowded, full of trash, people smoking and drinking and who knows what else. Nothing peaceful about it at all. Very disappointed.
Awesome views!
