Very clean stayed for a week while doing my testing for liver transplant quite and peaceful surroundings large rooms and bathrooms shared kitchen all the things you need for cooking definitely recommend it if you have transplant at Mayo Clinic in Arizona
Wonderful place for Mayo Clinic transplant patients to recover. The Arizona transplant house now called Help in Healing Home is reserved exclusively for Mayo Clinic transplant patients and their caregivers. Its a wonderful place to convalesce and still be close to the Mayo Clinic and hospital, where several times a week a patient must go for testing and follow up. Help in healing home is alternative to staying in the hospital during roughly 5 week recovery time.It consists of seven casitas all of which are designed with the patient in mind.
Can only comment on the nice car show and walk about that was put on. Gracious host for said event. Hope to be there next year for another show.
Gorgeous, budget-priced, resort-like accommodations for Mayo Clinics Transplant Program patients. I feel like royalty when we stay here. My last visit lasted almost 3 months following my Liver Transplant. The house rules help me relax, knowing my health is their #1 concern. CLEAN, well equipped, a community laundry room, plush linens, private bedrooms/bathrooms are quiet, and plenty of books and movies to enjoy. A full double kitchen with individual pantry, fridge, and freezer space is dreamy. I cannot say enough good things about this lodging.Be sure to make reservations -- its a popular place.
This place is so nice and the staff are great!
Makes the visits at Mayo Clinic bearable. The staff is number 1 here at Transplant house. Mi Casa is now their Casa.
I agree its pretty good
Great place to live for receive treatment at hospital..
This is an inexpensive, NOT FREE, place to wait/recover from treatment at the Mayo Clinic. It is group housing. Your room and bathroom are your own. The living room, dining and kitchen are all shared areas.
Super clean. Super safe. Super staff!
Second time here..accomodation ..as good as the first time..a healing atsmophere..
The name of this is inaccurate. It is now named Home Helping Hands. It is an affordable, beautifullly appointed shared community area, residential home designed to meet the unique healing needs of organ transplant recipients on immunosuppressant anti-rejection medications and their caregivers. Transplant recipients cannot recuperate in rehabilitation facilities due to the risk of infection. This non profit organization has created a cozy loving comfortable campus of 6 room casitas. for their guests. Theres 6 double queen bedrooms, a large common area fully stocked kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining, living room and seating areas and a library. There are also laundry facilities and cleaning products provided to help maintain a germ free environment. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with native plants and trees.
A great, quiet, sanitary place to prepare for and recover from medical procedures. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. They schedule events for the guests if they choose to participate, which helps you to get to know one another. A very clean and friendly atmosphere.
Experience was fantastic. Doctors/Techs are so kind, had a great time being healed by the Best.
