Saturday night band was awsome. The drinks and food where good, however the did run out of some items and it was only 8:00pm. Service was excellent.
Chicken dishes are the best but everything else I can do without. Plantains are good too. Left the restaurant still hungry..
That was awesome! I really had a great time, bartenders were friendly, pricing was great. Looking to come back soon!
I been 4 times now the first time was over 2 years ago for my girlfriends bday celebration. The 2nd time I threw a birthday party for my Sissy she never had one before in her adult life she loved the band. Reminisce the lead of the group even had a drink sent over to her. The 3rd time was last year Mothers Day weekend and incidentally musical legend Aretha Franklin had just passed away and the band sung Im Every Woman my mom had a blast she danced all night and truly enjoyed herself. The last time was date night the atmosphere is always friendly and main room has a romantic feeling to it. I absolutely love this place!! I have yet to be disappointed and Ive never had to pay a cover charge.
The music was top notch which definitely saved the experience. I did also enjoy the decor and layout of the club. $10 for the cover and $17.25 for a sub par Manhattan was what killed the night. Even though the womens common age was that of pre-retirement home status a well made cocktail would have made the evening quite enjoyable. The rating got bumped up from 2 stars to 3 due to the bartender Liz going out of her way to fix me another drink since the other bartender couldnt make a proper one. Hers was better, but still not having the right flavor to leave my pallet satisfied. Im guessing the sweet vermouth and bitters were of average quality which can only offer an average drink.
Amazing happy hour! Live music, and friendly upbeat staff when we went. Constantly removing plates as we sat for a while and ate small plates and sampled craft cocktails so wed always have ample table room. Glad to be invited out to find this place!
Great live band playing old school music. The drinks are phenomenal. I had a chocolate martini my self and it did not disappoint. Well dressed, mature, mixed crowd. Will definitely go back.
I have been to this place about 7 times, the sushi is always great and the service is excellent, great location too.
I was descriminated against because it goes against my ethics to cover my face.
Very fun atmosphere. Beautiful venue. The crowd was a mix of all ages and everyone was having a great time. The cover band was awesome and had us all dancing. Three bars to order from and no long waits. Plenty of sitting inside, at the bars and patio.
Blue martini is always a good time. The music is amazing and the atmosphere is so chill. If you are looking for a place where an older crowd parties this is the place. I go here because I am not surrounded by “Teenie boppers” as the average age is over 40. Happy hour is spot on as well. I have been coming here for 10+ years and I’m never disappointed.
OMGosh what a great night. Live music from a local cover band. Cool bartender and half price happy hour and their nice enough to say last call before it ends so you can get the cheaper drink or food. Nice place, nice ambiance, nice area
Loved the service, food(lamb chops and cheese platters were yummy) and ambience.Great bartenders who can keep up to the pace of large groups coupled with servers who can bring out orders make this place a great one. Will recommend to anyone!
Not as much fun with our the live music for Latin night.
Love the atmosphere and cocktails. Happy hour makes it worth it because drinks get pricey after its over. The flat bread Pizza was MONEY! So delicious.
Live music and good atmosphere
Went to this place because I really wanted a martini. The martini was excellent but the place just was not my scene- loud music and super dark. There was nothing wrong with it, I would just pick something a little more lowkey (and not so dimly lit) next time. Our server was lovely and the drink was great but it just want not my favorite place for a weeknight drink.
Neat place, cool vibe, Good drinks. Parking is less than ideal, but overall it was a good place to spend an evening.
Good drinks. Nice crowd. Live music depending on the night, we loved the fact that there was parking ! Cover on Saturday nights, not sure about other nights. Ladies are $5 and men are $10
I love this place. Being from from NY, its quite difficult to find spots with a diverse group of Mature crowds in AZ. But this one is of the best . They had a live band on the night I went. I didnt feel out of place. The Bartender was attentive and so was the waiter. Nice crowds of people having fun. I love the layout. Ill be going back...
After having a good time with my friends, I went to pay with my credit card and waiting for my card the lady gave it to someone else. Who knows who have my credit card now . Good thing I got to lock it. Be careful people you never know if this could be a trick to steal your card. I was so mad.
A sophisticated atmosphere, perfect for a happy hour gathering on the outside patio or to tuck into a dimly lit corner for date night. The highlight, as expected, is their drink menu. While there isn’t a full menu, the kitchen cooks up small plates; sort of a spin on your favorite finger foods. The shrimp & crab dip and the lobster tacos were tasty. While the food and drinks were good, the service could have been a little better. The place wasn’t crowded enough for our server to not be more attentive than she was.
Great for live music but overall vibe is cheesy.
I have has some of my best stories from this bar. This place always has a great looking crowd and the staff is awesome! I have been coming here for year and I have never had an issue here or a concern hadnt been addressed by the staff or management. The best tip here, their Happy Hour specials are incredible! Take advantage of the happy hour and come ready to dance and have a blast! We always do! Cheers!
Good live music. Support this place because its nothing like it in the valley. Its worth 10$. Next time will try to tip band also.
I came from out of state looking for a chill classy atmosphere to have fun on a Sunday evening. Good vibes on soul Sunday. Relaxed dress code with no cover. The band Reminisce was fun and there was a good sized crowd of average age about 40ish, but this is one of those places where no one dances. Everyone just sort of watches everyone else and nods to the music. Drinks were high (in my opinion) at $15 per cocktail. After a couple of hours I finally just had to clear my own small table of empty glasses but the waitress kept up with our water and cocktail requests. I didnt try the food but had we gotten there earlier, happy hour is half priced apps and drinks. Overall Id go again because I love live music.
I have heard a ton about this place for years but have never been. As a woman in my 40 ‘s I really don’t do this type of nightlife anymore. I came here Fri night to meet up with some friends who’s husband was playing in the Band “ The Mark”.I was a little put off by the $5 cover charge but oh well. I haven’t paid a cover in years. At first glance it smelled like rich old men and Drakkar. It was packed and I noticed people of all ages 20’s—60’’s. My friends were at the bar I met up with them. The music was fantastic the band “ The Mark” was awesome playing hits from all decades. Service was good the bearded bartender was nice and gave service with a smile and water or beer every time I asked.Dance floor packed. People of all ages we’re having a great time. Guys of various ages pulled me off my chair to ask me to dance.I told myself I would make an appearance and leave but ended up staying until almost 1 I was having so much funI can now say I’ve tried this place and I’m glad I did and I actually can wait to go again.
Awesome place- great drinks, tasty food, and Tyler behind the bar will take good care of you! I didnt care much for the acoustic guitar guy, but Reminisce is definitely worth seeing again and again! If youre a bass player, get in there and watch DBazz on the bass!! Hes a show unto himself and probably the best bass player in Arizona.
It was fun, different cultures mingle... With some good music.
Great ambience and friendly staff. Drinks are very good! The food always made to perfection.
Why is it so hard to have a cocktail waitress ask you if you want a drink? Money left in my wallet. Nice place but the door people are also a bit over the top. It is like security....where is the hospitality? The greeting? Otherwise a nice looking place.
The late night spot to just kick back and enjoy good company, drinks and some smooth sounds.
Well let me be very detailed about what was worth a 2 star raring . . We had to wait over 20 mins to get service.... And not friendly service at that..... Great atmosphere however the staff and service is WHY we go. .. Was not even close to impressed.... Went down the street to Mellow Mushroom.... Much better place and staff
I have visited quite a few blue martinis across the United States. I consider them a consistent in excellent lounge. This one was no different. It had a great vibe and the drinks were well-made.I would suggest in the near future that the blue Martini chain consider doing a revitalization of their lounges. Its getting to the point where they may need to do an upgrade to give it a new fresh look for the 2020 and beyond decade
I was at Blue Martini with a girlfriend last night and was disappointed in one of their policies. We signed up for a Lady Blue card years ago which gives us a free drink. Since neither of us drink we have always asked for a bottle of water and that was never questioned. Last night we were told we had to use our free drink tickets on a Martini, according to our waitress and the bartender. Having to deal with this issue at the beginning of our night definitely put a damper on our evening. Could we just have our bottled water and our meal without being pressured into an alcoholic beverage? That would be greatly appreciated.
One of our favorite Happy Hour destinations. Our favorite server is Natalie. Always friendly and welcoming. Food is always good and the Martinis are excellent. Good value for your money. Nice location.
One of the last venues to hear good music and dance in Scottsdale. Really missing The Compound but grateful for the Blue Martini.
The best club Ive been to in a long time. This place is heat!
Had a good time. Drinks were ok. Everybody danced with everybody.
About last Night.OMG this Club was amazing.we had a good table. I been coming here over Ten Years at least. And let me tell you about this place. The Band Reminisce was Fantasy. They had an 80s party going on I didnt know. But it was good. The line was wrap around the corner. Its suck to be them but it was inside partying like it was 1999. And there food was off the chain. Meaning it was good. I Love this place. I always call it the # spot in AZ.
HOT,HOT, HOT! Great food great drinks great servers and one hot band, Neon.
Great night, watched our friend who plays in the band Burntwood perform. It was packed but service was still good. Drink prices were pretty high but its the Blue Martini and its expected. Didnt eat so cant comment on food. Overall a fun night. Bands were good, good night out on the town.
Overall this place was great and very spacious. The DJ played good music. Different age groups, but everyone was having a good time. The only downside is the drinks were kind of pricey.I will be returning to Blue Martini in the future
Upscale decor, live music, great drinks and mixed crowd:)
Band was awesome and the bartender did a really good job with her drink orders.
I had a GREAT time last weekend. I was only missing the Cigar Man
Good staff, security, very good music, Latin night was filled with very friendly and happy people nice place
This place is pricey but during my visit I had a great experience thanks to the bartender. his name was Blake. He was very attentive to everyone at the bar from what I could tell, and is the reason why this review got more than 3 stars... I sadly wasnt very impressed by the DJ, although he wasnt terrible. In my opinion they should play more dance music. The live music was good, but seemed to obviously cater to a specific crowd... I wish there had been more variety.
Happy hour pricing includes the food menu! Excellent choices. Ambiance was lovely.
Great staff it was Latin night fun music yummy food.
Nice ambiance, love the live band they have on Thursday’s.
Loved the vibe and the live band. They also have great customer service!
The best entertainment in Phoenix. Live music almost every single night with some great bands and great people. Latin night on Thursday it is the busiest and a “Must go” if you haven’t been yet. Fashionable, chic and classy, it is what separate Blue Martini from other businesses around.Disadvantage: Once you try it one time, you want to go again!
Good live music and great atmosphere. Mostly business professionals, and an average age in the mid 30ies.
Large lounge with great small plates and drinks. Service was slow.
Over priced and poor service. Arrived just after 8 and they charged me to go in. All the seats were reserves and for the 3 hours I was there no one sat in them. The server never offered even offered me water. Had to get up and get drinks from the bar to get service. Horrible experience.
Dont come here unless you make 6 figures. The prices of their drinks are outrageous. $30 for 2 drinks!!??! The place itself is nice. The crowd is mature, being in my 30s I feel like a minority. Its not a bad place if youre an older woman looking for your next ex/rich husband.
After the response from the owner to give this location another try, I did just that! It was a holiday weekend so there were a couple of options on where to have drinks. But we came here. My party and I arrived at 8:30pm only to find that there was ABSOLUTELY no where to sit. We saw practically 3/4 of building with vacant tables but with reserved signs on them. When I asked if there were any tables available, I was advised that there was a table available all the way in the back with a minimum spend of $350. Which was absurd to me. I noticed at the one section of the building that was occupied with people that there was no cover and no restrictions on seating. I dont really have an issue with that but the problem is that those individuals were able to stay and occupy their seats, without having to pay or have a minimum table spend and we were left to stand. A group felt bad and gave us their toble to sit. They said it was apparent that we werent from AZ. After sitting for a few minutes we were told that the table was also reserved but can stay until it was needed. The waitress seemed to believe no one would show for the table. We stayed and ate and drink- it was our last night in AZ! I thought it was sad that the place closed at 2:00am but had people standing in line for more than 45 minutes and it was nearly 1:00am. It was an 80s theme night but aside from the theme there was nothing extravagant going on to require a minimum table spend of $350. I guess this was the advantage BM had for being open during the holiday weekend.
Saturday night, live band was awesome. Great place for drinks good music and lots of fun
Fun place. Great band
I like Blue Martini because I like to dance. Their Mango Mojito is good too.
The happy hour food & drinks were awesome.
Ive a good night out there
Druged the first time my friend from England and I went after relocating from FL. Went to Tampa location for over 10 years and never had a problem. I am a VIP whatever that means.Second time I went I was surprised at the older crowd but they were nice people. Also, Blue covered my pizza tab as I had left my debit card at previous place. But honestly we both had one drink the and it was served as the free VIP drink so worried bartenders could be in on drugging people. Will NOT EVER go back
Always a swell time. Jordan is a wonderful server and the food was tasteful.
We were excited to try this place but came away disappointed. Came after work for happy hour. Our severe Jen was great. Drinks, even my martini, seemed watered down. Had ahi tuna and beef tenderloin plates. Both were mediocre at best.
I came here for their Latin night. This was quite a drive out...It was a bit hard to find where exactly I should park for that lounge area. When I turned in from the main road, I was on a side small street with single parking spaces alongside each side, and there was no large sign to indicate where the club was (or I could have made a wrong turn).Eventually, I did find it after 5 minutes of walking about. The inside was very well decorated and everyone did seem to dress more formally than you would expect in a typical nightclub. While I did like how they put the effort forth to have a live band, I wish they could have mixed it in with some popular Latin songs too in between the live music. Also, not much people were dancing and most people were just sitting around. Not the scene I expected in a social Latin dance night. :)Overall, it was an ok night out.
It was okay. For a friday night, it was packed, but this lady was really drunk and kept stumbling all over the place. Within the first five minutes of us sitting, she fell and hit her face on our table. When I said something to a server, she told security. He went to her group and said something, which was appreciated, but he came right to our table immediately after. Which I think was in extreme poor taste. For the rest of the night, we endured dirty looks and long stares. I cant blame poor training on Blue Martini, I blame the security because its really common sense. What if the lady was an aggressive drunk, or the group tried to say or do something to us? That whole scenario would have been a liability, and I would have no problem taking it to court.
Very attentive staff. Seating however is a premium in the front near the patio. Very tight quarters in there. Prices are expensive, but very good. Cocktails and a few bottles of beer are your main options for drinks.
From great to ghetto – avoid if possible, especially if you’re a female. Thieves and unsavory people are welcomed here.I used to come to this place often for the Azul (Thursday night) with my Latina friends, the music was good, the band OK and although the drinks are a little pricey, it is about the same than any other club in the area, the fact that it was a short drive from home just closed the deal.Fast forward to 2019, the DJ was changed, it is no longer Cesar but some other guy who played obscure Mexican songs, they added another DJ in the outside patio, so they lowered the volume which makes it awkward, but the band was good and made it up.BUT the quality of people who now show up on Latin night has decreased… to the point that I GOT MY IPHONE X STOLEN!!! Yes, you read well, a guy came over to our table and stole my cellphone! I was quick enough to see him do it and confronted him with the police who usually stays outside, the policemen basically told me they were not going to pursue that petty crime and I just wanted out of there, the manager told me he was going to kick the guy out since there were enough witnesses in my table (about 6 people) who saw the entire thing unfold… 5 minutes later the guy was allowed back in.One more thing, they used to frisk people before getting in… they no longer do it.I’m just going to stay away from the place and would recommend any female to do the same, I no longer consider it a safe place to have a fun night.
Atmosphere & waitstaff is good, I would be careful eating here, lemon chicken was tougher than beef jerky.
A fun place to go for dancing and live music! Reasonable drink prices, friendly atmosphere.
Customer service was great... A bit expensive but I kinda get it... Live music was AMAZING!!!
Nice but a little spendy for what it is. The servers (boys & girls) are hot, so there is that!
We took friends to the Blue Martini, we suggested the Lobster Tacos and they were a hit along with the Seared Ahi Tuna. They were truly satisfied with the selections and of course the cocktails. We recommend the Blue Martini as a stop while youre on High Street.
I go there Frequently on Thursdays Latin night. There had been a change lately of DJ, this current DJ Music it does Not work how he mixes the Music. U could be dancing Salsa & all the sudden he puts Hip pop on. Hello its Latin night. And the Latin music he does put on is Outdated. Lots of room for Improvement..
A very diverse age group as far as crowd goes, staff incredibly nice and friendly had a great evening
The best happy hour in Phoenix, friendly, quick service and SUPER NICE staff. The chocolate martini is too good. This place is PERFECT, Ive gone 2 weeks in a row yet I am not even the type to go to bars/clubs. Cheers!
Great bar! I love the lit up countertops. Drinks are made WAY too strong though. But it’s a cool place to hang out
Neon band puts on a great concert at this BM! Bartenders are nice. Crowd is 35+ and drinks are ok. Loved the atmosphere! Dancing the night away. Also great DJ!! Awesome selection, adapted to the crowds age range. We truly had a good ol time here, being in vacation. The location of the place is super close to the exquisite Desert Ridge Mariott Resort. Uber costs $7... cant ask for more...
Always fun but the band was way too loud and bass was not right. Could not hear the words to the songs. 10 year anniversary n they had no place to really sit. Most tables reserved for high prices! They took away all seats around stage and some by back bar. Cigar smoke a bit much as it filters inside. Bathrooms were not working this night had to go to a outhouse style which really was not convenient. Seriously on the 10 year party night ? Not cool
My wife and had a great time. Food was excellent, service was A+. This is our new hangout.
Used to be a great HAPPY Hour for half priced drinks and food. But, the half priced wine is about a 4 oz pour. I cant believe that they charge double when not on HAPPY Hour unless they pour a different amount. Just saying.
They have a nice band that plays, Neon, and they are really good, however the crowd is definitely an aging crowd and I dont know if it was just the night I went or if the crowd is like that every day.
This place is wonderful definitely one of a kind in the Valle. Everybody should experience this great atmosphere the wonderful staff great music the food and drinks are 5 star
Interesting place, good live music.
