Great venue, great food, awesome staff, and a wonderful mix of national touring acts and local talent. Rick Bronson has really built up a great spot for people to enjoy comedy and unwinding from the stresses of life.

Good venue. The acts dont really matter for a review of an establishment but the food was very sub par to average for 13 dollars an appetizer or more for the dinner meals. The booze and service was on point but Jesus...... If I was rating it as a restaurant alone, honestly, I would give one or two stars. Mcdonalds would have been better for food alone because at least it has standard expected quality. 13 to 15 dollars a plate or more for the dollar general version of TGI Fridays is not okay. This is like boomer tier bar food for fat idiots. Venue and act was great.....but man...serve better food if you have limited capacity for Covid-19 and want to charge 25 bucks a ticket on top of food. Good lord.

We went here for the first time the other day and we had a really good night. Tickets were reasonably priced and we were seated far enough from other guests to stay socially distanced. The food was not very good so I would recommend going somewhere else for dinner before a show but the service and the venue were both great.

Fantastic night with Ms. Pat, Kourtlyn Wiggins, and Deon Curry. The House of Comedy gets an 8/10 for there covid Social Distancing. People were definitely with 6 of us seated, but there were only 40 ish people instead of the usual 300.

This club was awesome! World class performers, like Eleanor Kerrigan. (Hands down, the funniest woman in comedy), Earl Skakel and even the Dice has performed there.The Chicken Parmesan goes unmatched! (Really). Excellent food, service, and prices.You may find the ticket price steep for headliners, but the fringe bennys at the door make up for it.(free tickets for upcoming shows and raffle giveaways).Pay in advance online to reserve your seats and food. Well worth it. You just flash the receipt from your email on your phone. Youll really enjoy this place. Afterwards, stroll down High Street, lots of shops and restaurants.

My husband and i would come here on weekends to get away from life stress and one night, we had a waitress that never introduced herself, never communicated with us, and would go out of her way to not serve us. It ruined the whole evening because we had a long week and just wanted to relax. Our whole mood was messed up and couldn’t enjoy the show. The staff need to be better trained. People come here to enjoy their night. Not be stressed. We were sitting around multiple people and was completely disregarded. Also, there were zero social distancing. People were sitting right next to each other and barely room to move

They have great comedians. The place is clean, service is good, and the food is good. We always have a great time, fun and laughter. The prices are good not too high and the fact that its close and not Downtown Phoenix makes it that much more convenient.

Me and my husband were supposed to see Ryan Sickler in March but due to the pandemic it was moved to September 26th, Ive been emailing them and, my husband called on 09/24 and asked for a refund the gentleman stated they will send out emails the day of? Which is odd, and we werent notified that it was canceled and moved until next year, we found out by reaching out to Ryan directly via Twitter. Still waiting to hear back from them and a refund. Update 09/27 Just spoke to kyle and nothing hasnt been done we mentioned we.never received the email he said was going to be sent out on Saturday, he told us to call back Wednesday, poor customer service.

The show was good! Service was extremely slow. Our appetizers came shortly before the show ended and our meals never came. We were with another couple. They got two cocktails each before my husband and I got one soda.

Opening acts werent great, but the headliner Jamie Lissow was hilarious. It was great to get out and get some laughs. 2 drink minimum & drinks are a little pricey. Still worth it for a night out.

Ive been here twice and it has always been a good time. The staff is very friendly and the crowds have always been fun and easy going, no one heckling the openers. Easy parking and a few fun after show options ( restaurants & bars) within walking distance. It makes for a great night out.

My partner and I were pleasantly surprised at this venue. New, clean, well organized. Pleasure to be with so many others that truly want to be entertained without phones, texts and such other nuisances . Excellent comedian. Service was good. Overall a very pleasant evening. Will attend again. I certainly will pass the good word.

Good comedy show tonite. Place only half full for early show, so good distancing, plus mask required also. Food was fine, quesadilla topped the cheesecake.

Had a blast. Helped we were seeing someone we really wanted to see. From letterkenny. But the opener was awesome. The staff amazing. We had a lady in front of us disrupted the second guy. We felt bad for him but the staff was quick to get her out and then he fully recovered. It was a great night. Really good food and service plus the show....so funny. We laughed so hard! We will be back!

Great act. Was a lot of fun... But their food is waaaaaaaay overpriced especially with a 1 drink minimum!! The staff was very polite and they were careful to speak quietly during the show. Overall good experience but I doubt Ill go back. The food wasnt stellar for the price. We spent $30 on a burger and fries and a beer....

I love the location of this comedy club and have had a great experience every time Ive gone. I saw Mike Britt and had a great time! The wait staff are friendly and the comics are always great. I usually get Groupon tickets for the shows and the comedy club makes it super easy to get the tickets sent to your phone. Highly recommend!

Amazing service, friendly staff, wide variety of drinks at their full bar before the dinner & show... Amazing & delicious dinner with a generous serving. Large shrimp, perfectly sauteed veggies, perfect serving & wonderfully succulent dessert. Great service by the wait staff. Hilariously funny host & comedians. We will be back and would recommend the dinner & show combo.

This place is very nice inside and out... Saturday night and plenty of parking and easy to get to. Inside is great, the staff is great the food was great, was a great experience overall and will be looking to make it a spot for more date nights with my girlfriend.

Rude staff except for our waitress and her trainee, they were very good. The staff and entertainment (term used very loosely) was weak on content, material and seemed to be more focused on picking on the audience to be quiet. It seemed like people were quite bored, which caused table conversation. In fact, they ended up kicking some ladies out, which seemed to be pretty extreme, considering there were only ~ 20 people in total. Sorry, big swing and a miss for our first time and last time here.

This place is great! I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. We decided to get food which was the best decision as the food was amazing. The ghost pepper sandwich that my boyfriend ordered was delicious. I had the chicken parmesan which was also very good. The fries were crispy and perfect and they came out fast. The act was hilarious! We saw Ian Lara and we loved it. The place wasnt too crowded and it was very clean. Only complaint is that they didnt come talk to the guy sitting near us with his cell phone on (he kept getting texts), usually places are good about it but they didnt say anything.

We were invited by some friends to come up to see the show and we werent disappointed! The comics were great! There were a couple of hecklers which made it interesting for sure, but they didnt ruin the evening, and Ben (the comic) did a great job of rebounding :). The food was good (I had the chicken quesadilla), and we had a great time overall!

Great staff, they actually joke around, from the greeter to the waiter, thank you for the great hospitality! (I am NOT doing this to get the attention of the owners) The place is immaculate (had to look up spelling) and plenty of seating, good variety of food and drinks, I dont drink alcohol and they were willing to mix some drinks without alcohol! Great service all the way around (NOT doing this to score free tickets) Thank you for making our evening fun!

This was our first visit to House of Comedy and we had a great time! We got there right as doors were opening and were seated front and center - we were part of the show. The comedians were great - we laughed our @$$ off! Friendly staff, great location, clean venue, good vibes. We will definitely be back! My only hang ups for giving a five star review involved our initial interaction with the box office staff at House of Comedy. We were first time patrons, had never been before, and it took about ten minutes of standing in front of the box office window before the attendant made eye contact and greeted us. I mentioned we had never been to House of Comedy before it was our first time and wondered how it worked. The box office staff member repeated back how does what work? It was a weird interaction at first. She mentioned general admission and how seating worked. We later found out from the people we were seated with and our server that there is an awesome package for dinner and a show with tickets to come back again to enjoy House of Comedy. Was very disappointed this offering wasnt mentioned to us by the box office as far as options for purchasing tickets. We didn’t find out til after the fact and would have gladly given more business for the full experience of what House of Comedy has to offer. It was too late to make any changes once we found out. Basic sales 101 - we would have been happy to pay the higher price. We already had planned to go out to dinner and would gladly have stayed at House of Comedy to do so. Super bummed still we weren’t given the opportunity to enjoy it. Seems like a great deal and we don’t know what we don’t know. Otherwise good experience!

Everytime we go here is an amazing time the pricing is reasonable and the food is excellent. This visit we did the dinner and a show and I highly recommend. The angel hair Primavera was excellent and the apple tart was just a little piece of heaven. Brittany was our server and she was awesome. The comics were very funny. I dont think my review gives them the full accolades that i expressed in the review

Great place with good food and drinks. One drink minimum is wonderful. We also like that there are no person in bathrooms trying to squirt soap in your hand. Looking for a tip.

This was my second time coming here. Ive enjoyed each visit. Ive been to most of there comedy spots here in the valley and I really like this one. At other comedy venues, I always feel very squashed and limited on space. This spot does feel more roomy which equals more comfortable.

The warm up guys were very funny and had the crowd going and then the headliner Johnson came on and brought us all down. Do not recommend this show.

One of the best shows I have ever seen, we ended up going two night that week while in town. We will be back next time we are in that area.And we do a lot of comedy shows,so we know a good act when we see them:)

Saw the second show on a Saturday night for my birthday with some friends. This is my second time going to House of Comedy and both times exceeded my expectations. The comics were hilarious, the venue was intimate, the food and drink selection was good, and wait staff was present but not in the way. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun night. I will definitely be back!

Always so fun. My mom turned 67 and we took her out for her birthday. She laughed the loudest in the club. She had so much fun. She will be going back again soon. Thanks for making her birthday special. Great value! Great time!

My girlfriend and I saw Keon Polee on Saturday and had a great time the food was amazing, the staff was super friendly. We had never been before and just sorta decided to go on a spur of the moment decision. It turned out to be a great idea and we will most likely be returning.

Depending on the night, the entertainment is really good and sometimes the openers need to do their homework on the type of venue they are at that night. The 2 different wines I had tasted like the bottle was open for a week already. Otherwise the place is nice and people are very courteous.

This was our first time to this comedy club and we will certainly come back. The food was better than we anticipated. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her veggie burger with ghost pepper cheese, she said it packed a good kick. I really liked the burger I had with onion rings, bacon, and barbeque sauce. The atmosphere was pleasant and the comedians were great.

Really enjoyed Jackie Fabulous tonight! This was our first trip to the House Of Comedy and we had a great time. The venue was clean and comfortable, affordable, and the comedy was great. Well definitely be going back.

The setting is very intimate and there isnt a bad seat in the house. Pricing is pretty reasonable and the staff is very attentive. With all that plus the outstanding comedians that come through, this is one of my favorite places to see a show.

The show was funny Reyes Mamas, Taco, and Steena Salida were really great. The quieter gal that was straight faced and trying not to laugh was great too, but I didnt catch her name. Food was also good.

My son and I had an awesome night laughing harder than we have in a long time at the Samuel J Comroe comedy show. The food, drinks and show were all excellent. Definitely plan to go again in the future.

This review is strictly regarding the servers/waiters and management. We had such a great time during the actual show, but due to treatment from staff (minus comedians), we will never be returning.Waiter never took an order from us. Bought our own drinks at the bar during the show. The girl finally shows up and we place a food order and 2nd round of drinks. Never saw the 2nd drinks and she tried to charge us for food we never ordered nor received.Manager fixed the bill and we left a $0 tip, only to see a fraudulent charge for the incorrect amount on my credit card. Charge back! NEVER RETURNING!!!!!! NEVER RECOMMENDING!!!

Our first time of being here. This was New Years Eve 2018, 7 PM show. We laughed so very much. My husband and I have been before when living in Calif, but last night really topped them all. My friend who wanted to end the year in comedy, so I looked up House of Comedy and told her. She got on the phone and ordered tickets, so the four of us came to the show as well as it was her birthday. She made us swear not to tell, it took a lot of not to say it was her birthday. Anyway we had such a great time and I have not seen her laugh so much. Yes we do plan on doing this again. You all did a super great job. All of the staff were great as well. Thank all of you for a terrific evening .

We have been to their open mic night several times and have never been disappointed. The comedians were all funny and the service were great. House of Comedy is a nice place to spend an evening.

We had a great time. Orny Adams was our headliner. He was hilarious, highly recommend. There was a two part opening act. The second was a woman and I wish I could remember her name because she was extremely funny and deserves recognition as well. The service is really slow, took about 15-22 minutes to get our first drink order. If the service was faster Id give it 5 stars. Lots of tables around us were also complaining at how slow the service was. It wasnt our servers fault but looked like understaffed was the issue. When seating an entire room more than 2 servers are needed.

We went on a wimb and had a great evening, I dont know what it is about comedy but close to meditation. Thanks again we highly recomend you...

Sam tripoli show was amazing hes one of my favorites . Wish there was more conspiracy talk but everything was great . The food the atmosphere and the laughs .

We were packed in like sardines. Our waitress never checked on us. She had to be cornered. My drink came an hour past everyone elses. Pretty much had to beg for my Turkey Burger that took at least another hour to present.

The two stars is only due to the food and service that was provided during the show. The shows themselves were fun and I enjoyed them very much. But I will not be ordering food here again. I went to this establishment twice in one week and the staff had the same issues both nights, with the second night having an additional issue.So the issues that persisted on both nights are two: food portions and the servers not knowing where to bring the food. I tried three dishes on my visits: Buffalo Bites, Chicken Tenders and the Pepperoni Flatbread. I was told the flatbread fed 4 people, but when I received it, it barely fed 2. My friend and I ended up ordering another dish after because we were still hungry. The Buffalo Bites were terrible....a very small number if them and they were dry and hard. The Chicken Tenders were the only decent meal I had. Ultimately, the prices and portions do not match up. They are expensive dishes for small portions. And during both visits multiple servers had a hard time figuring out where food was supposed to go. They had to ask the customers if they had ordered a certain food.....which lacks professionalism. I am not sure if they are unorganized from a management perspective, but practically all the servers were having this issue.In addition to all this, there was a bigger issue that occured. My waitress, Veronica, took my credit card to charge (which my friend and I wanted to pay the bill half and half but she never gave us the option and just charged my card in full) and then when she returned to give me the bill, I realized that someone elses card was on my bill. I also realized that she had given me back someone elses card! Since the showroom is so dark, I didnt realize the card had been switched out the moment she gave it back to me. I immediately told the waitress about the mishap and then she tried to take another card from me. I told her that she had already taken one and that she must have given it to someone else. I watched her go to another couple and saw that they had accidentally put my credit card in their wallet while thinking it was theirs (Again, it was dark so Im sure they did not see it) This was very upsetting because (1) I was being charged for someone elses dinner and (2) they were going to leave with my credit card and I theirs if I had not noticed! I also missed the last portion of the show due to the mishap and trying to figure out where my credit card was.....so that was annoying as well. When I asked to speak to a manager, he was unapologetic and tried to say that usually the wait staff is very detail-oriented and do not make mistakes. Which I know from being there twice in one week that that is not true.I left very annoyed with waitstaff and management.....but the shows were great! I would recommend going for the show, not the food and service.

Hands down best comedy show I’ve been to. Staff was awesome. Nice clean venue. Comedians were awesome we sat right in front never laughed so hard definitely recommend and will be returning

It was my first time being here with a bunch of family and I loved how cozy and intimate the room was! I got a great seat up front and the young lady greeting us at the door was extremely friendly and helpful! I will definately be coming back for future comedy shows!

Show was great. Headliner was Godfrey and comics before in were good. Not the most comfortable chairs but if the comic is good enough you wont mind. Drink service was lacking, saved money I suppose because of it though. Sat for a good 45 minutes without being offered another round. Room was a little warm

Best Comedy Club in Phoenix!It is always an enjoyable evening at Rick Bronsons House of Comedy on High Street in Phoenix. Every time I have gone (and it is at least ten now), they have three acts with outstanding comics. They also serve quality food and drinks for reasonable prices in a comfortable atmosphere. Parking is free at a large garage across the street.I have been to the downtown clubs - Rick Bronsons is the best in Phoenix!

Pros: Comedian was hilarious! Ambiance was nice!Cons: Room was insanely hot and humid. So hot in fact, a bunch of crowd members were using flyers to fan themselves, me included! Please turn AC up next time.

Had a great time tonight at Bronsons House of Comedy. Thoroughly enjoyed the warm up acts and Ryan Neimiller was fun to see in person! So glad we decided to have a date night on a Monday.

So happy to have this comedy club in North Phoenix. The venue is upscale, but not stuffy. There is a convenient bar in the lobby to get properly prepped for the show.Inside, there are lots of bar food options available to raise your likelihood of choking if the comedian is really funny.Seating is pretty standard with a single floor level, giving lots of obscured views, but you can see enough to enjoy the performers.

Great food and entertainment. Nice and cozy venue and easy to get to. Really enjoyed.

We had a blast here seeing London Brown. We did win a $50 gift certificate as well but even without that had an amazing time. All of the comedians and the host were great! Drink and food were good, service was amazing.Only suggestion I have is to list all of the supporting acts on the website with the featured comedian. We were unaware the show included other acts (pleasantly surprised though).

Went here for our 1st Anniversary. The food was delicious, the waitress was very good, the show was so funny and they gave us a special desert to share. They made our night one to remember! Thank you.

We enjoy House of Comedy on open mic night. There are drink and food specials along with a wide variety of comedians testing new material. Tonight was no exception, although a rude woman up front was a major distraction for comics and audience alike

Comedians were awesome. Kept is in stitches the whole time. We keep going back.
