I used to like Michaels. But, ever since shopping at Hobby Lobby this store fails in comparison. I went today because of the sales and the aisles were so cluttered with stuff it was near impossible to find anything. They leave a small aisle hardly big enough to fit a cart through as a path to the registers. The sale was a good percentage off but the starting prices were so high. I actually ended up putting everything back and heading across town to the other store mentioned above.

So here it goes the review for Michaels. Now going into a craft store I expected it to smell like weird moth balls and strange basement. But the aroma in this store was actually pretty nice. The items are not cheap but they are also not expensive. Its right in the middle. And honestly they have so much here I could not even look at everything that they had in one visit. The staff that works here was exceptionally friendly and eager to help. Long story short I got what I came for and left pleased with the product that I got for the price. If youre looking to throw together an anniversary gift birthday gift or just start something as a hobby this is definitely the place to check out. I would highly recommend it.

I know this store by heart but if I didnt, or if I go to another Michaels (even though there all laid out pretty much the same), I struggle. Thats just me, lol. The reason is that these stores have clutter. If you cant find what you need at a Michaels then you have put any effort into looking because they, seemingly, have every craft item known man.Sometimes it is hard to find an employee to ask for direction but when you do, they are generally knowledgeable and super friendly.

Whether you know what you want to create or you’re looking for inspiration, this is the place to be! They also have classes for children to play and learn and be creative. The prices are reasonable and they also have clearance aisles for people who like to stock up on craft items.

We went there to check out the framing department. Wow! A respectable variety of mats and frames to chose from. Framing help (Thank you, Miranda) was great. It was very helpful to see our choices computer generated. Prices were ok but be sure to have coupons (we got ours by Googling).

Didnt have the vine charcoal I needed because they have limited selection compared to Bridgewater Michaels, which they mentioned is the biggest in the district. Staff was friendly but I did need to go looking for someone and found them in the staff only frame area

Good morning to you. You know when, I went to (Michaels) for the first time, as I was looking around, I noticed that a lot of things dealing with art supplies, they had it.. I was like a kid in the candy store. Why was my reaction like this? Because, I deal with the Arts, as a Custom Sign painter, and some Murals.. I got to say it blew me away.. so, to any body that as not been there, go and check it out.

I feel like Ive never gotten a Michaels coupon that Ive actually been able to use once at the register. Today, I aparently had to be there after 3:00pm to use a one day only coupon FML haha. Am I alone in this?

Im so angry about the service I just got at the Greenwich, NJ, Michaels. I dropped my car key while checking out, and even though I was on my hands and knees on the floor looking under displays and under the counter lip, the cashier kept calling customers over. She could have moved to a different till. She could have offered to help. She just stood there playing with her hair going ohhhh I dont see them. Finally I asked for the manager thinking that she could at least look on the other side of the register for them, but she came out and just said Nobody has turned them in but we can call you if they do.Of course nobody has turned them in. Ive been right here the whole time. She finally started shifting display racks to look underneath, even though she saw me on my stomach already looking under there. She never even bothered answering me when I asked if there was surveillance we could see. She just keptk saying that shed call if someone turned them in. It felt very much like she was tryingt to shoo me away until I explained that I needed them to, you know, start my car. Eventually I found them inside an unused shopping bag.Im in Michaels constantly because I need craft supplies for my job, but this will absolutely be the last time I visit this location. The associates were so childish and unhelpful.

Great classes for kids even give us adults good ideas...if you can think it you will probably find it or a substitute at michaels...
