This is a really chill, relaxed area. I live right around the corner and a friend of mine invites me and it’s always very calm and peaceful. A lot of times I read books and get work done and I rarely see rowdy guests. Very lovely place.
During the WEEK Presidential City is a great place to live. The staff is friendly and they do a tremendous job. The grounds are properly and beautifully kept. The residents are very nice and respectful of each other. BUT during the WEEKEND in the summers the Sora Pool Club has become completely overrun by unruly guests who trash the place and turn it into a disgusting Vegas style pool party. Residents pay the price...literally and figuratively. It seems now that word is out for the general public to go to Sora as their summer pool party destination. Incidents so far this summer include broken glass in the pool, people openly smoking marijuana, hookah being smoked at the pool edge, trespassers jumping the wall to get in. (There is no security to prevent anyone from coming into the complex at the entry.) Clogged toilets in the gym facility, speakers brought in and blasting music of all varieties. All day drinking parties getting loud...you can imagine by around 5 oclock what thats like. That sums it up well enough.

For the young 20s crowd and people looking to party crowd its no doubt a dream. The facility is gorgeous and they get to have a free for all. But for residents who thought it was going to be a relaxing re-treat, especially for those who have young children, its not the case. Again, this post is to alert futures residents of the issues on the weekend. During the week, again, its great. Lets actually say terrific. The staff is great. There are a lot of positives. But lets be honest, the selling point of this place is the pool facility and gym and there are egregious problems with it on the weekends when the resident wants to enjoy it the most.
Whats not to like day spa and the pools are awesome.
Stop shut down this place
Thee best
