Ghetto. I would not recommend. The service lacked severely. We arrived at 1015 and it took over an hour to receive the drinks we ordered and most of the orders were wrong. We also were charged 360 for a reservation just for 6 drinks. The math doesn’t add up and they could not explain to me how that made any sense. We ended up ordering 6 more drinks AND THAT CAME TO over 100 after I complained about the service because it took an hour to get our drinks and by the time we got them they were closing. So they removed two drinks and the tab came to $97. The next day we checked and were charged $180 instead. Disputing with our bank and never coming back. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND RUSHED OUT . And oh told that they don’t need our service

This bar is on the top of hotel Monaco just next to the Independence hall. A little bit dark here. This is a rooftops bar so you can see the sky of course but you can’t enjoy good view from this bar because a little tall wall. If you want to see a view of the historical district, I don’t recommend you to visit. But if you want to enjoy good drink and atmosphere, you should grab drinks here!! King staffs and various liquor make you excited!!

Horrible!! Firstly our reservations were from 10:00-12:00 we arrived 30 min earlier however they had to stick to protocol which we completely understood. When we arrived at 10:00pm we were seated by the bar Indoor and we asked to please be seated outdoor to enjoy the rooftop (scenic view). Unfortunately according to an employee there weren’t any seats outdoor but we were given the option to sit in another room that gave us a glance of the outdoor. As we waited patiently we noticed others arrive after being seated outdoor which was very disappointing but we didn’t allow that to steal our joy especially being that we are celebrating our anniversary. We waited 40 min and no service!! I had to get up and look for an employee to get some service. Finally food and drinks which I must say was very delicious however Only once within our 2 hour stay we were asked if we needed anything and that was in the middle of our meal which I quote was “Is there anything else you would like because it’s last call” What! It is very disappointing considering the amount of money we paid in addition to making our reservations.

Great spot for a enjoyable outdoor evening experience! Good drinks, attentive service, lots of space and great ambiance. Definitely good for adults looking for a change of pace to hang out...or chill

Made a reservation ahead of time for 7, the limit is apparently “6”. Ruined the birthday celebration. To add insult to injury staff chased down my party Attempting to double charge even though payment was done online ahead of time. Terrible customer service, staff is clueless.

Great upscale Miami/Cali vibe in Philly. Besides the bartender adding a few extra drinks to my Tab, everything else was fine. The manager did adjust the bill which was appreciated.

Really love their rooftop! Food and drinks were great! They always ask you the kind of alcohol you want used in your drinks. Our waitress was so cute when it came to recommendations and checking in on us. My only complaint is its a little TOO dark at night but maybe thats just me.

Decent enough for what it is. Minus one star for being a rooftop bar without a view. Standard amount of pretentiousness but a good atmosphere. The private/VIP rooms are well appointed, spacious, and comfortable. The experience would be greatly elevated if the cocktails were decent but its more a place to be seen than a place to enjoy a well made old fashioned.

Its a nice swanky spot. Good drinks, I thought the food was okay. I enjoyed my mushroom dish I ordered I tasted some of the duck and seafood...that could have been better.

First time being at this location and the DJ just messed up the whole night!!! The song selection was totally out of sync. Please this needs to be made a priority and addressed because the music is what makes the whole experience worthwhile.Secondly the bouncer wasnt all that courteous and it wasnt really a great experience. However, the location is great and the environment is cozy. Personally I wouldnt visit again and wouldnt recommend this location unless there is some sort of improvement. There might be a difference experience for someone else but my first experience wasnt worthwhile.

I went to Stratus for a private party from 6 to 10. It was perfect.there were two air-conditioned rooms that could accommodate 55 people each, a main totally exposed to the sky area, and a sheltered bar. The staff was excellent. The food was excellent. There were very few people there until about 9. Then it got thick, but our party was over and we were on the way out. Great atmosphere.

They promised us an entrance with 5 people for a reservation of 4 when we had their word and they did not commit and It caused us distress and unpleasant night.

Not super impressed. The inside bar was very crowded. And the outside, though there were heaters, there werent enough heaters.They dont allow you to smoke cigars on the outside rooftop portion of the bar. Bouncer yelled at two of the people in my party and made a big scene about it. Would recommend the bouncer doesnt make a scene when enforcing rules.

Stratus is always a fun time. Haven’t been in awhile but I got to experience a close friend of mines birthday there the other day and we had a wonderful time. A lot of great memories were had. It’s an awesome rooftop to vibe especially during the summer days.

Dope place to hang out. Especially if you have someone in town. DJ is fantastic!!! Like any other place bar services can appear slow but if you know how to interact with your bartenders youll be just fine. This place is fire, definitely check it out!

The online menu is not updated. They do have a wide variety of drinks, but the food options werent to my liking. If you like odd finger food options, then you will be happy here. The people are nice, and the DJ is good.

Very piss poor service from waitress. It’s was a Friday night, fairly early and they were already out of ingredients to make their signature cocktails. In addition to that the waitress never returned my card at the end of the night, I never ordered. Called the hotel, they said cards are usually brought down and stored in a vault. My card wasn’t found, there is no way to directly contact or speak with staff at this place.Update: In order to speak with anyone you have to call the hotel. The hotel then communicates with the bar staff and hopefully they haven’t shredded your card by then.

A cool venue on top of a hotel but dont plan to sit anywhere as all the empty tables are reserved for bottle service yet no one is there. Over 10 empty reserved. Would not recommend.

Love this place classy atmosphere amazing staff

When arrived 10 minutes before 10pm, I had valet parking as I approach the Guy with the black suit as the valet man called him. He tells me they not allowing no one up there until 10pm. My girlfriend went up stairs and was waiting for me. I worked into the hotel and the gentleman at the elevator was going to allow me to go up due to my friend bring upstairs. Went up stairs they said I was unable to go in until after 10pm. So know Im waiting 20 mins to get in and Had to pay $40.00. meanwhile I was already theres. They did not open the door until after 10pm. So I paid $20.00 for valet parking, waited 20 minutes to get in and then had to pay $40.00.. I stayed for 2 hrs, the music was not great.. Beautiful Place but wish they could of treated the situation alittle better...

Great setting! A couple of spaces available for private events. Good room for folks to dance. PRICEY drinks that are average.

My son surprised his brand new fiancee with a rooftop party here. Very nice place and people. Great ambiance and nice crowd as well. My only issue: steps to reach the rooftop after taking the elevator may be great for some but l was already wheezing and the steps were a real chore for me.

Atmosphere is great! Scenery is beautiful. However, if it isnt happy hour and your just trying to relax and have a few drinks with friends Id only visit if $15 for small, yet delicious drinks were the goal. A little pricey outside of happy hour.

When I tell you that I was at this venue for a wedding reception and I was blown away absolutely outstanding I came from the outside inside and wind up outside It was outstanding We were on the rooftop marvelous

Absolutely loved this place. Nice place for a chill night out with friends. The atmosphere and wind in your face creates a calming feeling that makes you feel like youre sitting in nature. Try the shrimp springrole; its amazingly tasty. Its better to be there in the evening with nice music and finger food. You should visit it.

This place is for old people now, dont bother dressing up just wear jeans and flip flops and you would be fine, at least thats the attire I noticed when I went of a Friday night in May. Music is dated to another degree, and not in a good way, it fit the grandma and grandpa crowd -- literally. I asked staff what had happened and apparently the manager changed and it led to that monstrousity. Cover was $10 on a Friday night and it was twenty too many, need to pay me to go back to that place.Please be aware of this before visiting, it is far from a typical lounge. With that said it has average customer service bartenders are talented and bouncers are nice. Nothing to be excited about, then again nothing about the experience was.R.I.P Stratus Lounge

Great bar and atmosphere. Nice meet and greet place. Can reserve area for small parties. We had a great time. We were staying in the attached hotel. So it was perfect for a night cap.

Nice ambiance, yummy cocktails. The DJ was good too; however, there is a cover, and there is no view (as explained in a few other reviews). If you are looking for a nice place with good music to get a cocktail, this is your place, but if you are looking for a view, it is not!

Had some wild times in there. Saturday night functions when they open up the roof are where its at. DJ is usually killin it and the crowd is almost always diverse and upscale. If you want to meet dope people who are ready to mingle....this is a good spot to be.

Our to go place for girls night out, fresh air and nice music always good combination. They charge some entrance after certain time. And sometimes it’s a perfect crowd of tight people, sometimes you aren’t that lucky. But of course depends on your mood and music:)

Great atmosphere, but being on the roof I was expecting to see more of the city.

The DJ was awesome and also the drink were regular priced but I enjoyed the rooftop. I would come again just for the DJ.

Were staying at the hotel for a wedding and they asked us if we were guests at the hotel and then told we still had to pay a cover. We went up to the lounge and sat down at an empty lounge chair. We were promptly told we couldnt sit there even though there was no reserved sign. We said we were with a wedding and they informed us they were separated from the hotel. Why did they even ask us if we were guests! Told us we couldnt afford to sit there. Insanly rude service.

Dress code is not strictly enforced. The bouncer turned me away at first because I had sneakers. Stumbled upon this place looking for a happy hour. Very cute spot, fantastic staff, great drinks, and great specials.

Had a good time with a few friends on a Friday night...it wasnt too packed but the Burlesque dancers were a surprising addition to the night. I will revisit in the future.

Chic outdoor lounge on top of chic hotel. You wont get city views, but looking at the sky as the ceiling is a really great experience. I was there for a private event and the food was great, drinks were great, and staff seemed very attentive. I would have hung out longer if I was with people. Music was pretty good too, although I would have appreciated something in a lower BPM range. It was mostly drum n bass, with Felix da Housecats remix of Sinnerman by Nina Simone randomly thrown in. I thought that was more appropriate, but they reverted to drum n bass.

Great rooftop lounge close to Independence Hall area. We arrived at the bar around 9pm when it was starting to get a little busy. There were a lot of empty tables but they were all reserved for bottle service. Otherwise there is no areas to sit unless you get bottle service. The female server behind the bar working on April 27th had a pompous attitude that made it seem like she was working there against her own will. We ordered cauliflower curry bites (which were delicious!) but the female server dropped them off and walked away without asking if we needed anything else. Overall its a fun little bar in the center of the historic district but I wouldnt be stopping back anytime soon as I feel like this bar doesnt share the same Kimpton standard that this bar sits on top of.

It’s been my favorite place for a few years now and it’s always fun. The outdoor rooftop location and DJ on weekends, fun crowd, decent food options, great place to hang out!

Prices are super expensive, I paid nearly $12 for a Jameson and ginger ale. The bar and rooftop are really cool and nicely lit/decorated. However I dont really understand the point of a rooftop bar in a city like Philly (in old city at that) when the view of the city is blocked. I was pretty disappointed I couldnt see the city skyline from this rooftop bar. Theres a wall facing west (towards the city) so you really cant see much of anything unless youre tall and stand back a considerable distance. Definitely a nice spot but not as cool as it could be. Definitely a fancy place, definitely dress up a little as they do have a dress code. And be prepared to spend more than you might at a typical Philly bar.

I love this lounge, no cover charge before 10pm. They have really good flat breads and specialty cocktails during a happy hour. We are from Europe and i was personally surprised with their staff almost all of them are bilingual, they make us to feel like at home. Vapor pavilion is something amazing, looks like a classy Amsterdam style and its non smoking room witch is great. I lot of guests from hotel are coming up and its a great place to meet a really interesting people.

Decided to try this place since I heard a lot about it. The cover charge is $20 just to get into the place. After that I waited almost an hour at the bar before even getting served. The older red haired bartenders service was horrible. He did not make any effort to serve a lot of people and he kept completely ignoring a ton of people. After going to the other side where there was a nicer bartender I was served. My friends and I were charged $40 for three drinks, that is incredibly pricey if you ask me. Be prepared to drop some serious money when you go here. The music was good and the ambience was good, but beyond that the service was bad and the prices on drinks were a little too high.

I was expecting a great view of the city but that was non existent. I ordered a simple rum and coke the hostess didnt return for almost 30 minutes, i didnt ask why. Killed my mood. The bouncers were brutes who will turn you away if your cuff links arent golden clad with diamonds..jerks. Luckily i made the cut but many others were not fit to enter. Overall its ok here.

Here for a Pre-Reception Wedding Reception. Great atmosphere with having indoor/outdoor seating. Very hip, modern decor. Wonderful selection of heavy hors doeuvres.
