We saw Blues Junior in the Boom Room and were blown away with their talent. The vocals and saxophonist especially were impressive. The wide variety of songs they are able to perform make them stand apart from your typical event bands. They did everything from the Grateful Dead to a country song- appealing to all genres. I would highly recommend Blues Junior for any event.

We hired Blues Junior and Mole Street Artists for our wedding last year! To say they were great would be an understatement. Brian and his team were easy to work with, required very little management, and did a superb job. Their sound was right what we were looking for, and they played both new hits as well as some older songs we requested. I would highly advise anyone getting married to reach out to their team to see if they are available or even work your date around their schedule.

I saw The Sermon perform at The Franklin Institute Awards a few years ago. What an amazing band! Mole Street Artists always books the coolest acts from Philly and really helps elevate the experience for all the events Ive ever attended where they curated the music. I would definitely recommend them to any event planners looking for memorable music options.

Blues Junior played at my 60th birthday party at my home and killed it. People were dancing and having a great time. They added another level of enjoyment to the birthday party with their music. They were professional but interacted great with everyone at the party. I highly recommend Blues Junior for any level of event or gathering!

Blues Jr. played for us at my husbands 60th birthday party. The band was very professional, arriving on time and setting up in our home. At first they played some muted jazz pieces while our guests arrived. Then as the party got going they engaged our guests in selecting tunes. At the height of the evening we were dancing in the open area and having an amazing time!

Mole Street Artists provided the music at my wedding and I could not have been more pleased with how well everything was coordinated and how much having great music added to my special night! Could not recommend them more. I have also seen Blues Junior perform at numerous events over the years as well and they are fantastic!

Most recently, we were looking to hire a band for a party and the Mole Street team expertly executed the booking, contracting and day of show logistics from start to finish. In a world where there are a lot of cookie cutter event producers, Mole Street is anything but; thoughtful, intentional programming and flawless results is the name of their game and we cannot recommend them and their services enough!

Blues Junior played the Fredericksburg Academy auction they were fantastic. They had the whole room up and dancing. It was the best event band I have seen. I can’t wait to have them back!

Blues Junior is a rockin good time. They play stuff you want to dance to, but they can change tempo - their set is versatile, so youll never say did they do that song earlier tonight. Brian LaPann is a strong and soulful vocalist. Good individual musicians who play better together.

Since I was getting married to a Brazilian composer/musician, music was a key element at our wedding that we wanted to get right. After lots of research, we hired Mole Street Artists to help us put together a “music plan” which would incorporate several different musical styles throughout the night. We wanted to start the wedding ceremony with classical acoustic guitar, followed by a Jazzy cocktail hour featuring Bossa Nova + Klezmer music, continue onto dinner with Jazz Standards, and finish off with some good ol’ Rock & Roll, Disco, Folk, and Ska! Brian LaPann, Principal at Mole Street, organized all of the above with passion and efficiency. He also personally played during our wedding ceremony, setting a magical tone to start the evening. The Vance Camissa Quartet kicked off the cocktail hour and the mood was perfectly chic & funky as they played and even performed on a marimba! During dinner, the Vance Camissa Quartet performed indoors, followed by Blues Junior, who absolutely killed it on the dance floor, bringing our guests to their feet & really getting everyone to let loose & ultimately go wild! Our guests were asking us how/when they could go see this band in concert! And on top of all of this, both bands were super down to let my husband improvise and play saxophone with them throughout the evening, which led to some seriously memorable sax solos throughout the night. Overall, the music truly stood out at our wedding, and it was all made possible due to the talent and professionalism of Mole Street Artists, Blues Junior, and the Vance Camissa Quartet. The musicians brought so much passion, fun, and style to our big day... I am forever grateful.

Wow! I cannot day enough great things about Mole Street and their artists! We had them provide music for our wedding, and everything was incredible, from start to finish. James, our coordinator, was super helpful and communicative with us and all of our questions for our big day. James went above and beyond with helping us, and making sure all the details were in place. He even helped my dad prepare a special surprise for me. And the music?? It was a major highlight of our big day. Christopher Davis Shannon was absolutely incredible and set the mood for our ceremony and cocktail hour. His style is unique, and he’s crazy talented. And then we had Brian Williams and the Get Back for the reception. I think every single guest was dancing for the entire evening!!! Such a blast! We have had so many people tell us they loved our bands, and they danced the night away. We only wish we could do it all over again!

This review is based on the lack of information and professionalism that I received when I spoke with Sean from Mole Street. Their prices (which he didnt give me any real quotes) were extremely inflated. I priced out many reputable DJs, and the semi-quotes that he gave me were $1000- $2000 higher than the others. Additionally, I inquired about a specific bands price and availability for my wedding. He set up a phone appointment with me and had none of this information available. Not only was he unwilling to give me information, but I contacted the band directly and they WERE available. They also gave me a much better price. Based off of the treatment I received from Sean, I will never go to Mole Street for anything in the future. Nor will I ever recommend them to anyone I know.

Mole Street was very helpful in getting every detail right. The team came together and coordinated with our wedding venue and had us rocking all night. I recommend Mole Street and their artists for your next event!

Ashlyn from sales is amazing! She always went above and beyond when sending me information on different performers, audio files, updated quotes, etc. My only complaint is that their website did not have enough audio clips from the different artists to enjoy and get a better sense of their range. If you are having a wedding or big event, I highly recommend Mole Street Artists!
