This park is a really nice neighborhood park for kids, theres 2 playgrounds (one for older and one for younger kids). What I really enjoyed was that there was mist that sprayed by the entrance which helps the kids cool down when they get tired, as well as a big field that has plenty of space to run around or even play baseball. It can get pretty packed because of the summer camp there, but whats great is that they are sanitizing the equipment daily and have moments where kids have to wait to play until after everything is clean.

Very nice playground ans green space. It has two sides...one for smaller children and another for bigger children. There are baby swings and big kid swings. Plenty of trees to catch some nice cool shade. There is a basketball court, tennis court, a field to play soccer. There is also a doggie park for the dogs. If you want to just relax there are plenty of benches.

Nice playground. Need to watch the younger ones so they dont get hurt but nice

Great, lively playground that is very entertaining across age groups. Some of the climbing aspects are a bit unsafe for preschoolers to navigate without very close supervision.

This playground has seen better days. The equipment is worn and the surface is quite rough. Despite this, it is hugely popular especially during nice weather. Theres also an open blacktop, basketball courts, tennis courts, and benches nearby.

Markward playground is so much to do there with any age kids. They playground is so clean and cool. My son has been playing at this playground since he was 15 months old and now he is 7. They have a dog park, tennis, and a nice size basketball court. You can walk along the river and take in the frest air!!

This is one of the best playgrounds I have been to. The playground and restrooms are really clean. The equipment is in great shape and the patrons were so friendly. It is in a great neighborhood as well.

Fun, diverse park. A true Philly gem with access to a playground, water view, running trail, dog park and bike trails. Perfect for everything from jogging, bike riding, a day with kids, a day with the dog to just relaxing on a bench and watching the sunset. Safe atmosphere.

Its a nice playground. Kids had fun. The only thing missing was restroom. Although there was a restroom but it was locked for some reason

Bright Night Lights

Love the fact that the playing apparatus is under trees. I like that I dont have to worry about their skin and the sun. It has two areas, one for the medium sized kids (roughly 3 and up) and one for little tykes (3 and under). There is a dog park nearby that can be viewed from the ground or the ramp leading to the river walkway. The kids found this just as exciting as the playground. Major breakdowns when it was time to leave.

My daughter loves playing at Markward playground. There are two sets of playground equipment, one sized for little kids (around 3 and under) and one for bigger kids. The playground can be crowded on nice days, and the restrooms are closed on Sunday and after 1pm on Saturday.

Great playground for our kids (3 and 6 yo). Ok bathrooms. Shaded, enclosed play area.

It is big and has both a toddler and older children set. The train come by next to it and its one of the major features.

Nice playground. Lots of kids here all the time. Older kids in the basketball court can be heard using foul language
