Great staff, friendly. Clean, very clean. Kids loved it
Now is currently closed but they have a “all you can eat taco stand” the tacos are great, I really loved them and the service is great. The only bad thing that I lower my score is because you eat on the pick nick tables outdoors. Other than that is excellent.
Never been here but with this kind of people runing it nevermind...would give an option of no star
If I could give it ZERO stars I would
A great family getaway! We loved it!
It would get 5 stars but the water isnt clean would go again.
We took our kids to spend the day this weekend. It had a few different sections that I liked. Deepest it goes is 4 ft. It is expensive, and if kids are 11 they are considered ADULTS. You dont have to pay Everytime you leave. They do serve beer there. The water was dirty. For the price I expected cleaner water. There was only 1 life guard on duty. So watch your kids, and they will tell you that. Slides werent open all day. Only at certain times. There was not a lot of people there so it is nice to have all that room to actually swim.
It was okay, area was very spacious and there where various areas designated for different age groups. They allow any food which is a perk, they do no allow drinks but the drinks sold are reasonably priced. Aside from that, the location and management were a little odd. Before entering if you have children they make you sign a waiver even though lifeguards (which were men wearing tshirts and blowing a whistle) were present. Water was very murky.
So I have my daughter call the place for information and they were very rude the first time she called. It’s seem as if they just wanted to get off the phone. Then she called again and they hung up on her after the answered her question. Mind you she still had another question but just they just hung up. What’s up with this place. You would think they are just opening their business and want you to feel welcomed. This is not good for business. My friend and I are gonna take our kids and see what it’s like and I’ll keep everyone posted.Ok, so we visited the place after the bad experience over the phone and I do not recommend it. I had to pay even though I was not getting in the water. The water was very cloudy and the park looked like it was not completely finished. The concept is nice but they really need to finish all the painting, landscaping and filling up all the pools. The paint on the water slides was still wet that my daughters swim suit got ruined because I got paint all over it. I was very upset and the manager just said “ I’ll have someone put a sign that the pint is wet. “ no sorry no refund. I was like what the heck is this kind of customer service. At the end of it all I will not be going their ever again. Oh and no life guard we dressed appropriately they looked like the gardeners.
We went on Wednesday, they had $10 entrance special, it was our 1st time there and it was definitely our last. The lifeguards wear regular clothing, couldn’t distinguish them from customers. Every workers primary language is Spanish; unfortunately my son doesn’t understand Spanish. He went on the tall green slide, he didn’t understand what the “lifeguard” was telling him; so he went down the slide without crossing his arms or legs causing him to hurt himself. Had 2 huge bruises on his arms by the time we left; no wonder they make you sign a waiver the minute you walk in. The water was VERY cloudy and dirty, I could not see my toes; we arrived about 1 1/2 hrs after it opened and there wasn’t very many people at the time to say that they dirtied the water. If you purchase beer at their bar, it’s best to pay with cash because then an employee has to take your card to the main entrance so they can charge your card. Parking lot is just a dirt road, not paved at all. Restrooms were disgusting. My main concern is the safety of this place, seems like a very easy place for someone to get seriously injured. I honestly thought I was at a waterpark in Mexico.
Loved it we had so much fun my kids really enjoyed themself. Definitely going back
Everything was good but the food.
Such an AMAZING place, I was able to bring food in and drinks and was able to have so much fun with my family with such a cheap price
I like it I also like how much space the pools have but the walkway are extremely hot and it ended up giving me a first degree burn
It was ok. The water seemed dirty. There is minimal supervision, and only one trained lifeguard for the entire place but he is on top of slides the whole time.
1. Very expensive prices sodas for $2.50 you are not allowed to bring your own beverages2. Water is not clean3. Rides are not safely recommended4. I prefer to pay for schlitterbahn*****NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL*****
I liked it, especially the 4ft pool, and it wasn’t that busy when my family got there.
We have been here 5 xs and the staff is beyond awesome. All five times we have been the first to get in and all 5xs the water has been clean. We love that you can take your own food but its more convenient for us to just to take our own snacks and purchase food and drinks there. People say drinks are expensive but $4 beer isnt bad compared to what we pay at the state arena. Blah blah Slides are not dangerous like people make them seem.. Simple just obey the rules and nobody gets hurt. The kiddy pool was fun my 8 year old had tons of fun. Reason we keep going back. Cheaper then driving to spi and being crowded with people a lot cheaper than schillterbahnn. We will definitely continue going here.️
I just saw that they deleted a lot of the truthful comments posted here a few weeks ago, including mine. With that said, this place has over priced tickets and foods, they allow drunks in here, the security is a joke, the water is dirty and tested positive for E. Coli. and other infectious diseases.
Best place to go in the rgv for a fun day! And yes there is supervision in this place.
Water was pretty cloudy.. u couldnt even see through water.
I tried to give this place a chance but it was BAD dont bother to show up if you cant speak spanish the parking lot just like the center is an open field with broken down rusty farm equipment and all. The water was EXTREMELY MURKY! And the life gurads (all 3) were not even dressed as lifeguards. People are allowed to bring in beer and alcohol their own food and even their own barbecue pits! Very unsanitary place and poorly staffed. Dangerously dirty and understaffed for small children!
Damn this is my moms friends parents or grandma who own it
My child had so much fun the slides were amazing totally a perfect place to take kids the only bad thing is that it was alil expensive it was $54 for three of us and they didnt let us take in our Waters we had to buy our drinks inside, but they allow food
My kids liked it but its pretty disgusting
Enjoyed a great time hereWill be back.
My friends child got a nosebleed because there was some drunks fighting each other. Unsafe!! Go to Pharr Aquatic Center or Schlitterbahn instead.
Valley Central Events does not recommend this place due to their unsafe environment.
All the water slides were closed. The are no lifeguards at all. The whole place is a bizarre mix of unfinished and already run-down. Its basically a shallow pool that costs $15 to enter.
Seems like a cool place
I dont want to give this place any stars the water is so disgusting...dont bother...its way overpriced and not worth it...never going again
Dang, I saw some drunk dudes fighting outside the parking lot lol
Great place to unwind
Very expensive and prices change. Super ghetto.
Not that good
Too many drunks, water is so dirty, looks so ghetto, parking is no good.
Good food
Looks cool
Its the place in the valley to be
Carisimo
Never been there
Bad experience
Very over priced
