I was literally at the counter, buying tickets for my family and they ran my credit card, twice, but the tickets were not being issued. A manager was called over and she suggested that someone must be trying to buy the same tickets, online. Ultimately, we were unable to buy the tickets - and this was an exclusive showing, meaning my daughters (triplets, aged five) ended up in tears because we were turned away from the theatre. Then, to add insult to injury, I asked carefully, are you CERTAIN my credit card wont be charged? Its $75.00 and you ran the charge twice. The manager was adamant the card wouldnt be charged. A day later, my credit account was charged for BOTH of the $75.00 debits. Now I am stuck trying to get my money back. Do not go to this theatre. They are liars and cheats.

Pretty empty due to the pandemic but was relaxing

This theater is bigger inside than it looks. Very nice theater, comfortable seating, delicious snacks, great staff. Was a little weary of going back to the theater during covid but everything was sanitized, and wipes and sanitizer was available so we felt very safe and comfortable !

I loved my recent experience at Cinemark. My husband and I went to both AMC and Cinemark to compare their reopening policies. I love how Cinemark automatically blocks out seats to allow for social distancing depending on which seats you selected. At AMC, the seat selection process was complicated and when we checked the theater, there was hardly any social distancing in the theater room at all, so we left.There was plenty of hand sanitizer available as well. Good job, Cinemark.

I tried the D box experience, it was pretty awesome. The seating was comfortable, roomy and theater clean .

This is my absolute favorite movie theater to go to, but that definitely changed today!! I felt like a terrorist when one employee and the manager, Mr. Scott asked to look through my purse!! Uhhh, nope!! My husband never looks through my bag & not about to let two strangers look through it either!! I took my bag back to my truck & walked in holding only my cell phone, my key and a pad!! My family & I were holding two large popcorn, three large drinks, jalapeños & munchies that were all bought there, didn’t see the need of them wanting to check my bag!! Per manager, they search large totes for weapons!! Weapons aren’t only carried in bags, I could’ve carried a weapon in my boot, in my pants, wrapped in the blanket I was holding!! It’s nobody’s business what a lady carries in her bag!! Very disappointed in this & will never go back!!

I was looking to enjoy a pizza during my movie, however they did not have the one of choosing on the display so I talked to an employee and they quickly situated me and had one prepped on the spot. I enjoyed the movie however upon arrival I found a sticky stain on my seat(probably from previous viewers). Luckily, I carry travel size disinfectant wipes and was able to clean it and enjoy my movie stain-free. 4/5 I will definitely come again.

My all time favorite movie theater. It is very clean and the staff members are very friendly and knowledgeable. The seating is awesome love the recliners and they have upstairs restrooms that are extremely convenient. Restrooms and facility were clean and never disappoint.

I rate this place 4 stars only because the line for concessions is a bit crowded and does not flow smoothly. I had a difficult time determining where the line began and everyone was just bunched up in one area. It was chaotic. It was a different experience from other theaters where you can visibly see lines formed in different areas. So I recommend getting there earlier just know case the line moves slowly. Other than lines being long and chaotic, the seats were extremely comfortable as the seats recline. The theater room was really clean and you have plenty of space to put up your feet. Plenty of lighting to walk up and down the stairs. The womens restroom has plenty of stalls. Definitely would recommend this place just take into consideration to arrive with plenty of time if you plan to make some purchases at concession.

Great reclining chairs. Awesome atmosphere. They still have discounted prices on Tuesdays. I would recommend ordering your tickets online because they have assigned seating.

Usually get tickets for their XD theater, the seats are so comfy and and you can recline them. The walking aisle in front of the seats is big enough that you dont really have to worry about bumping peoples feet, unless they extra tall and have their feet up lol. Their snack area is small, they got 2, but still kind of cramped on both. But they got other things than just candy and popcorn, Id recommend their shrimp poppers, they are so good.

The chairs are so comfortable. They have leg rests! My favorite place to see films. Even the smaller theaters had big screens. Nice, polite staff. Only drawback was the maze you go through to find and buy refreshments.

I love this movie theather. The climate is always perfect inside the theater. Staff is always friendly and courteous. Theater rooms are always clean and smell great. And not to mention the seats are super comfortable.

Four of us went to D-Box movie Tickets were $19.50 ea = $78 with the membership we paid $46.50. And got 20%off Food! Amazing!!

Popcorn was great, service was excellent and had no issue getting through the concession line, workers were on top and friendly. The bad: there was no ice in one soda machine; which happens from time to time. The butter dispensers were either not working or needed tovbe refilled, but I had to check 3 before I was able to get butter. All in all wasnt a bad experience, just couldve been better

Came to watch 1917 with my son. The theater is clean and comfy, we enjoyed the reclining seats. Popcorn was hot and fresh.

Seats are super comfy, they lean all the way back. The theater is very clean + well kept (before the movie). As we were leaving our seats there was trash everywhere just rude + nasty on the guest part! There are so many options at the concession stands. The only thing I wasnt to fond of was the closeness of the seats other than that great theater!

I love the stadium/recliner style seats! Good food and very clean and organized! Stayed for two movies.

Went to see a 220 showing. Lights went down promptly at 220 and the commercials started. 30 minutes worth of commercials with a couple of trailers before the movie actually started. On top of that the screen sucked. Image was grainy and it seemed like the focus was off.

Im sure everyone is aware of the ridiculous prices at the theaters. This one is no different! $10 for a personal pizza!!!!? WOW! Next time eat before we go! Went with my granddaughter to watch Frozen 2. It was awesome. We laughed. We cried! Beautiful music, songs!!! Wanna go see it again!

The service was good. The whole place was clean, including the theater room which is usually messy in some places. I went on a Tuesday so I got a discount, which was great, and the movie was really good as well. You can go alone or with someone either way, youll have fun.

Best place to watch movies . I would not go to any other place . I love the privacy wall between seat sections. They have armed security guards which is also a plus. They do serve beer and wine which great. But, for me the popcorn is one my main reasons for going to the movies and I joined the movie club its worth it...

Worst experience ever!!!! I asked for a receipt and they asked to look inside my purse unbelievable. Racist as hell. I can’t believe this. I will be calling Corp to get to the bottom of this! I was the ONLY Customer whose bag was checked! They didn’t not check ANY of my friends.

We paid the extra couple of bucks for the dbox seats for the last Jedi. My father enjoyed the heck out of the bouncing and jumping ride that the powered recliners give you. I used their closed captioning system. The CC here is nice they use a small screen on a flexible pole that mounts in your cupholder. I prefer the glasses with CC.

The luxury lounge seats make this the best cinema in the valley, and probably south Texas. Concessions and drinks are expensive but thats not out of the ordinary for any movie theater. Its a great place to watch a movie.

I went to go see an R rated movie and explained that I was the guardian of a minor. Only to be told by Ms. Guerreo (that I assume was the manger) that i need to provide “papers” in order to purchase a ticket. I was unaware that I had to provide court documents to purchase a movie ticket.

Always best to go in the mornings. Theres not alot people and EVERYBODY is quiet.

We were WOWed by this theater.I had a slush Jack and Coke, lots of food offered well kept and supper clean.

Concessions lines are terrible. Not only are they confusing to know who is next but its impossible for them to efficiently ran with no space to go around the other customers that are being served after you. Another concessions fail is not being able to get my free refill after my movie started. I attended the last showing of Terminator and came out to get a refill only to find the drink area blocked off. I asked staff and what appeared to be management if I could just get my refill and they said no. Not wanting to miss my movie with an argument I gave in and returned to my seat with left over ice to chew on.

This is my go to theatre here in the Valley. Always friendly staff and I love the luxury loungers. The concession line is always fast moving and never really have to wait in lines long. Dont like that they took away the free jalapenos.

Very nice place to watch your favorite movie with great reclining seats. A little disappointed with the popcorn that was stale but otherwise a great experience.

The Cinemark has some highly comfortable seats and lots of options for drinks, snacks, other refreshments, and it even has a small gaming area where people can pass the time if they are bored.It also includes tables where you can sit and enjoy you purchase from the Cinemark.I truly think this is a wonderful place to watch movies and the quality is very high. If you ever want to watch the latest movies, pass by the Cinemark Pharr Town Center, to see movies and enjoy other entertainments nearby.

Nice and new, buying snacks and drinks is different so go early to get in lines on time for movies.

We had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE HERE WITH A EMPLOYEE NAMED TAYLOR !! She has a extremely bad attitude! First she gave us wrong tickets and when we got new ones she sat us in the front seats!! Telling management we kept getting wrong tickets when it was her mistake!! GET BETTER EMPLOYEES!

Took my son to see Avengers. We watched the movie on luxury Dbox and we really enjoyed the experience of Dbox. It was crowded, but flow of people at theater was good. Never an issue. This theater is designed with crow control in mind :-)

Horrible service. I had never been asked for an ID to watch a rated R movie, I do not think I look like a 15 year old. I understand it is the employee’s job to ask for it but it wouldn’t have been a bother for them to give us a heads up that we were going to need it. We drove all the way from Alton for nothing, even the manager raised his voice at us. Will not be coming back.

I live about a mile from this theater and we enjoyed coming here to rest our minds and enjoy some popcorn and Cokes of course there are hot dogs and nachos, ice cream so theres no excuse to go home hungry.

Cinema has changed for the better before it was hard to get the seats you wanted now everything is chosen by you. Time has changed cant wait for the next lever of Cinema in the future maybe a more realistic experience like at Disney. Love it .

Great reclining chairs big screen and feels very private. You really dont get to see others in theater due to dividers between rows. The only people you do see are the people sitting next to you. They have a Starbucks in house. Compared to Cinemark Bistro the food isnt grand which is one of my personal reasons not to come here as ofte. But other than that staff is very helpful. I love the recycling and liquid dispensing options in the theater. Very clean facility. 4 stars due food options would have received 5 had it not been for that reason.

Excellent cinemas! Very clean and the staff friendly and cordial. The theaters have lounge chairs and the digital sound is amazing. Its even cheaper regular movie theaters ($2 dlls less pero show).

This place has a flow of its own. Even when your lost someone Will direct you the right way. Love the snacks and beverages, especially the good to choose from.

A bit on the expensive side, fotunately this movie theater offers a comfortable and elegant experience to all movie-goers. The reduced number of spaces allows the seats to recline, which is awesome.

The manager here is horrid, terrible personality towards frequent movie goers, or for that matter, anyone in her line of sight. however, in terms of luxury comfort, there is no other movie experience in the RGV.

This is my favorite movie theater. Its concession stands are self serve, which is awesome because it makes the process much faster. The parking lot is also neat and not full of pot holes like some other ones Ive been to in the area. This is hands down the best!

Great theater with comfortable reclining seats(although they seemed a little worn). The lobby was massive, but had tables and seating, which I thought was really cool. The concession area was a walk thru, self serve concept with a pay at the end point of sale. The crowded area was fast and efficient (much more than the typical walk- up type counter).Definitely a much better customer experience.

Whenever I come here it is to face away from the pain for a bit after losing a loved one. The staff experience is usually nice. However when I went to go grab an ice cream at the left center register at around 8PM May 23, 2019. I was completely ignored by the heavy set lighter skinned woman with glasses even though I shouted I was next. The register on my right had a line but none on the left (which again is the one I was on) yet she called to that line even though I was standing right in front of her. Please teach that employee some proper manners.

Ive never given anyone a bad rating. This will be my first, and its because they have a rule that does not allow kids under 6 after 6 for a rated R movie. My kid falls asleep and is well behaved so this seems unfair. Im the parent not this corporation. I asked the managers Including Mrs. Guerrero and they themselves did not know the reason for this rule. Then they couldnt figure out how to swap out our membership to go into a movie we already seen because they split up our party. Ive worked for regal and they wouldve just gave us the seats or free popcorn. Omg then I walked into the mens restroom and there was a diaper in the stall and the other two where filthy. Imagine if it was an opening night for a big hitter? Stay away and pick another theatre. #nice2geekyou

Omg. Why dont all the theaters have these lounge chairs with reserved seating so we dont have to be at the movies 3 hours before? I got to see the Avengers opening weekend in a lazy boy and I am never seeing another movie in Brownsville until they make it into a theater like this. Even their setup for snacks was way better. Loved it.
