As someone who was barely of age (21) my first commitment that I wanted to partake in was owning a gun and I didn’t know where to go and I knew I needed to actually shoot a gun first and know how to use one before I decided to buy one.The cool thing about Pointblank is that you can actually rent a gun and try it out before you even decide to buy that model so that’s exactly what I did. I was there for about half an hour enough to shoot a few rounds and figure out what I liked. I then decided on the one I wanted and got it that same day. Was a beautiful 380 Springfield.At Pointblank there’s an unspoken admiration and respect for all firearms. Not only this but their staff is *highly* educated. (Augie)A few weeks later I decided to purchase a beautiful firearm that was going to need to be sighted, I trusted that the first person who was handling it would do it justice and I haven’t missed a shot since!! So thanks for that Prices are firm but the equipment is top notch.Overall amazing experience here, both times were during COVID so they do make you wait outside, since there were some people in the building it went by quick and we were in there in no time.I would also suggest that if you are looking for a specific item that you should call them and ask to see if they have it!

Came here to buy my first pistol, they were friendly and amazing customer service. They made me feel welcomed and made the experience comfortable and great. I also came to use their range, and brought a box of ammo i couldnt open myself. They helped me open it and were patient with me while dealing with other customers, such an amazing environment! They really took care of me.

The employees are very helpful and nice,Made my gun and ammo purchase smooth. Went to the gun range with my dad and it was fun.

This place is top notch. They have just about any kind of gun here, and about everything else for a gun for that matter.The staff are knowledgable and friendly.Its weird that this shop is located right next to other shops. The soundproofing is crazy good.The shooting lanes are spacy and neat that you can push buttons to make the target come closer or pretty far away.Came to this city for work but brought some guns to check this place out.Have been here a couple of more times since then.Cool place. Update your hours. I stopped by your store at 730pm...your hours stated you were open till 9pm..wasted trip to Pharr...change your internet hours if youre not going to be open.

Beware these people don’t have the common courtesy of posting their closing time like every other store in town. Drove 200 miles to come to this store arrived 3 hours before there posted time and they wave you off. How irresponsible is that.. Never again!

Went in to buy a bow customer service seemed nice enough. Hours after I paid i get a text that the bow that was sold will not fit my draw length, ok i get it people make mistakes i was understanding. Ordered my bow was told 2 or 3 weeks waited about 6 ok i get it alot of stuff going on right now. Get a text, good news your bow is in, 3 minutes later i was informed that it was not what i ordered, it was the wrong bow. Ok now this is bad event after bad event. I text 2 days later and asked how long the wait was going to be for the bow i ordered to come in and got ignored. 5 days later I asked again and the answer I got was, long story short, no. WOW, Point Blank does not even try, I did my part i paid my money and twice I expected them to do their part and both times it did not happen. The only good thing they did was refund my money but lets see if they actually did that right in 3 to 5 days lol

The only reason that they got one star is because no stars was not an option.They make you stand out in the sun until someone notices you at the door.Then they question why youre there.Then some guy who knows nothing of how mask works told me to wear it correctly .Lost a customer for life whos spent a fair amount of money there since they opened.

First time at this establishment and as I Walked in i immediately was confused I asked 4 people the same question no one has knowledge about fire arms then when I finally got to someone the guy just literally repeated what I told him and was no help at all very unprofessional staff will never go to this place again

Took my Halon 5 in for repairs and the archery staff did an excelent job. They were fast and explained everything in detail on what they did.

The staff is knowledgable and very friendly. Awesome place.

Love it here. Great place and staff are helpful. My only wish is the ability to shoot shotguns at least with slugs.

Don’t waste your time if your looking for 9mm amo. They only sell if your using the range. Taking my business elsewhere

This fat guy had us waiting outside in the sun and the checked our temperature and said we couldn’t get in i had to leave to check my self and came out negative he was so rude and acted like i had covid or something im gonna take my business elsewhere .

I got to point black at 7pm and this old man said they were going to close 1 hour erlier (8pm instead of the advertised 9 pm) because no one was shooting. When we set up at the lane, the target malfunction. Instead of letting us move lanes, the old man made us wait for him to take his sweet as time fixing the lane no one was going to use. Then at 7:50pm after the venues setbacks, he turned off the lights and kicked us out. No consideration whatsoever, bad customer service from that specific employee.

Not the longest range ever, but great for pistols. Rarely have to wait for a lane.

Called for a simple question got a VERY RUDE answer. Get your CHL anywhere else. Took my money and ran.

Im still mesmerized from the incident that occurred yesterday. My son was still talking about it today. Its a great place. I like the facility. Depending on who you talk to, employees are well informed and knowledgeable. Friendly staff, great selection. But! BUT!... You guys need to be better prepared for situations such as the one that took place Saturday in the range. Theres live rounds in the mix of the brass on the floors. And it took a bit of time to contain the situation. Employees running around, looking for the proper equipment to use, there was little communication, within the staff. Preparation is key for overcoming these type of situations.

Great shooting range. Very friendly environment. The staff is very polite and helpful. I go at least once a month.

False advertising. Says all equipment is included in bundle for shooting range then charge you for equipment that is not included but is necessary to go into shooting range.

Treated with a great deal of respect and and as if I was highly intelligent. Great range. Will be returning at minimum every Tuesday for Ladies Day if not more often.

I received my CHL from Point Blank. The instructor was retired Sheriff Deputy, amusingly named Jesse James. My 9 yr daughter attend the First Shooters class. Jesse was very patient with my daughter when teaching her how to shoot a shot gun. She loved it when she got passed her fear. Now her aim is better than mine ! Point Blank is a great place to buy and practice !!

Never had a problem here before. Started reading the reviews and was a bit concerned as I hadnt been here in over a year. I was not pressured at all when I walked in. I was offered ammo, eye and ear protection, as well as targets. Thats just normal business. All I needed was targets so I paid and signed the waiver and was on my way to a stress relief hour. As I was shooting I could overhear the staff engaging a couple of new women shooters. They addressed the safety issues and were giving adjustments in the most non intrusive way. That goes a long way to properly traini g someone and keeping them interested.

You can tell by their website they dont really care not very motivated the shooting range is how they make most of their money and every single time Ive gone the range isnt even fully functional and if you take a quick glance you can clearly see that the staff couldnt care less if your there or not

I shot there four years ago with my younger brother and sister, came back today and couldnt get in. My sister is almost 20 years old and has purchased her own rifle. However they must have changed the rule and now she has to have her parents with her to shoot it in their range. I would understand if she was tryin to buy a handgun but she wasnt. You have to be 21 to buy a handgun. However she can legally shoot a handgun with a parent/guardian. (We were only shooting rifles) It is a really dumb rule, I will never come here again. I just wasted my time, I recommend places for my entire family so they lost all our money. As far as customer service they returned my membership ($180)and I have not been treated rude. But that rule is so stupid I will never go there again. Shooters alley, hole in the wall and coyote firearms are better. Also this place is very expensive and although its pretty its not worth it.

I really like this place. it IS a bit pricey but the staff is VERY helpful and courteous. no dumb question. they dont belittle you like some other places for asking basic questions. ive gone to academy and they seem angry all the time and short staffed. Point Blank is always fully staffed and eager to teach or demonstrate their weapons and accessories.

They are not at all pushy. They will offer to help and do so if asked. Love the ladies Tuesdays.

This is the best indoor range Ive been to. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable and not overpriced liked some other places Ive been to. You can BYOA as long as its not a penetrating, steel or incendiary round. I brought some ammo and purchased more there.

This place is great! Everyone is very helpfull and informative! They look like very good employees who really help the people there, and try to make the experience go smoothly.

An interesting place to visit if youre a lover of guns, archery, and more! The staff was friendly and the facilities were nice.

Expensive, poor selection, out of stock in basic items, dangerous, untrained/uncaring staff. Items walk off in staffs possession. Go to Glick Twins or Suppressed Tactical Solutions for parts or service and Shooters Alley or Hole in the Wall for range.

If I could give this place a 0 star I would. They have the absolute worst customer service. People are not at all friendly and you feel pressured the second you walk in. They just stare at you like if youre some hoodlum that is going to steal something. The latest guy I dealt with treated me with no respect and used vulgar language. I would not recomend this place to anybody at all. Just because youre kind of young they treat you bad. Never coming here again.

Terrible experience worse customer service I’ve ever had at a shooting range, they wouldn’t let my lil cousin & me shoot there him being 20 & me being over 21+ as his supervisor they profiled both of us & denied me of being over 21 even with proof of My Legal Texas ID. Plain stupid owner with a smart mouth. If I could give a negative rating I would.

They where very nice on anything the guy even stayed the to teach me an my dad when we learned how to he still stayed the just in case we needed help

DO NOT BUY FROM POINT BLANK!They are not military friendly and they do not care about customer service. This is by far the worst firearms dealer I have ever encountered. I always buy on base, but decided to stop here because of the above average reviews. My trip here cost me $40 for nothing.

Great place to shop and look around, people like to complain about rudeness and pressure, if you have a problem with then stay outuned of gun shops, majority of people who come to these places are veterans and cops who use a curse word every other word. And the prices are quite decent, you pay for quality and I saw alot of quality guns here that do not use cheap parts.

One of the better places in the valley to come shoot, staff seems competent with the handling and safety of firearms.

Facility had everything you need. Price was 15$ per person, all day pass!!!, targets were cheap and had some many to choose from. You can bring your own ammo, firearms, ears&eyes protection or you can rent all of it for a good price. Range is indoor, with really good ventilation system. Spacious and about 15 lanes to shoot from, and an archery range too. Employees were friendly, and always looked for customers to be taken care of. They also offer help and assistance if its your first time shooting. For my first time in that facility, i recommend going there, you will not be disappointed.My only negative comment, not so bad, is that brass in the floor was not required to be picked up by shooters, and there was alot. Thats more of a safety issue.I will deff go back again.

It is and excelent place to go and shoot not that expensive only down i think is that they onle sell you ammo if you are shooting it at their place at least for the hand guns.... overall GREAT SHOOTING RANGE

Half the shooting Allys were broke down the day we went to shoot. Also the shooting room and alleys were filthy. You would think they would try to keep the place cleaned after the fire last spring. Some people dont learn.

Good deals? I didnt see any. Charge 15 bucks each person. Charge you extra for bringing you own ammo. No ear protec rental. Theyll sell you $4 ear plugs tho. Theyll tell you about the great deal of paying 25 dollars so you can shoot all day, but like sex, when im done, im done. Go to hole in the wall or others. Not this corporate franchise.
