What can I say about this park. It’s my childhood park! Had parties, kickbacks, picnics, walks, everything! It’s a safe, quiet park full of life! Love taking pictures here, or simply going under a tree and taking a nap. You won’t be bothered nor disturbed, (well, maybe by the ducks). Have had photo shoots here for quinceñeras, weddings, and birthdays. Love this park!

Great place to enjoy some outdoor activities. Enough room to be safely social distant and still see humankind out having a good time. Stay safe and help protect you and your fellow park goers/planet dwellers and wear a mask.

Parking is..a little odd. But most parking in Petaluma shopping is a little challenged. But the view is lovely and Tuesday is one of the BEST little Farmers Markets around!

I wish they left the baseball fields open. I truly enjoy the park though. I find it very well run and love the layout

Very nice park with all kinds of athletic fields. Ive seen people fishing in the pond which is cool. The only complaint is a little bit too much goose droppings on the sidewalk. Difficult to walk around without stepping in it. I guess the geese like the park too!

Fantastic location! Has a very extensive and open area for picnicking, playing, relaxing, watching the ducks, geese, and assorted birds that reside in the pond area. Theres a multi-purpose community center available and a weekly farmers market in the parking lot every Tuesday, rain or shine! Great place to relax and unwind and simply enjoy the outdoors!!!

Well I love the Tuesday Framers Market. The garden vendors are exploding in color right now. This time of year I love to walk through and smell the fragrance.

The park was great for biking and there is a playground for the kids to play and the parents can sit in the Bench and watch the kids play

I have come to this park as long as I’ve lived in Petaluma and I have tons of wonderful memories from each visit over the years. I came here as a child. Then I brought my children. Now my favorite thing to do here is for the farmer’s markets. My daughter and I try to come here ever Tuesday to get the freshest fruit and try different foods. It’s a great way to support the local business all in one place! Last time we went we bought a book from a local author! Tuesday’s are our favorite day

A quiet walk with my dogs. A lot of the feather friends. With a lot of Pooh around the pond. City of Petaluma cleans the walkway 3 times a week. Nice around.

The Petaluma Community Center is located here, and when we were evacuated due to the fires, thats where we were housed. The park really needs renovation, but it was pleasant.

Great Park to walk, fish, or hang out. There are baseball fields, a soccer field, handball courts, tennis courts, and playgrounds. This is one of the most open, inviting, and friendly parks in the area. Except for the geese, they hate everyone and everything except bread.

They built this Park when I was a fairly young kid and it still seems to be holding up pretty nicely for as large as it is and with all its water features to maintain not to mention all the homeless people that dwell there.Still pretty clean, grass is pretty nice, and just generally a decent Park.Keep up the good work Petaluma.

Nice little park with a play area and kids free library, as well as the adjacent soccer and ball field. The lake is a nice addition to the view, but navigating around it is a challenge with the ample goose droppings.The area sits across a shopping centre with a handful of good lunch places though. Free parking is also nice.

Great to feed the ducks with the kids and in mind

Generally, a nice place to sit and eat lunch, read, or just relax a spell. Sometimes, local transients gather here and disturbs the serenity, but harmless all the same. Ducks and geese are rather aggressive, seeking food handouts at times.Now has two playgrounds for children. The newer one, next to the Miracle League baseball field, is designed for special needs kids, yet fun for all.

If you can maneuver through the duck droppings well enough, you can see what could be a decent rec area with a lot of sprucing up. In its current iteration, it is very squalid and undesirable.

Great park, but there is so much duck poop all that I could not find a place clean enough place, even on the grass, to do yoga. Which is what I went to the park to do. I did however enjoy a walk around the pond with my daughter.

Great play structures! Nicely shaded. Just wish there were more restrooms and they were in way better condition. Current restrooms are disgusting and scary.

This is a good community center and a nice pond for the ducks too. There is a good kids playground and a tennis wall.

Its ok a nice little park. With some good places for the kids to play. And a short walking trail around a little man made lake.So I learned something new about this park the other day. That last year (2018) they put in a new play ground specifically for disabled children. And a baseball field for them as well. All has wheel chair accessable. Thats really cool by my book.

Its a fantastic park. I went there to watch some soccer games and it was fun. I do NOT I repeat do Not Park your car on the wrong side of the field. Of you do youll have to walk for 5 minutes just to get to the field and baseball fields. Great park overall.

Lake is pretty the walkways you have to watch for goose leavings. The playground is covered and really interactive.

Nice safe place to rest and let kids play off Highway 101. If youre a local; has many programs for exercise and education. PS the pond has lots of fish. Wouldnt recommend eating em tho!

Very cool place, a really large park with small parking. I got sick swinging circles on one of the toys. My buddys kid puked right on his lap. Its kinda weird though it seems to happen a lot with him after he eats. Especially on both sides.

Yes I enjoyed lucchesi park very much. All the new features it has is awesome, even the homeless (that havent any place to go with Mary Isaac center being too full & not having any day use available for them.) were very nice, the tweakers were actually nice people. There is fish in pond to catch and the are friendly ducks, geese too. Have a great day

In desperate need of clean up! Gross pond, geese droppings all over the side walks, people digging through the trash bins. The pictures online looked so cute :(

I grew up in Petaluma and remember this park as being beautifully manicured and immaculately kept. Such a disappointment to see its current state....weeds everywhere, PROLIFIC duck and goose poop, and general feeling of neglect and shadiness. Surprised that the City would allow its very evident decline.

This park keeps getting better. Lots of construction going on here (January 2019), but its going to be dope when its done. Theres a disc golf course . Tennis courts, handball courts, baseball fields, soccer fields, playgrounds, picnic areas, grills, a lake you can fish in. Goose poop, like, everywhere. I just saw 2 swans. This is where people come during local disasters. A real community center. Theres also a Senior Center.

Great park. I heard there are bike pathways so Im interested in checking those out soon.

Its been awhile since weve visited Lucchesi Park, so we were quite happy & surprised by the new play structure with all the wonderful instruments & chalk board, complete with audience bench seating that makes it perfect for a game of school. I think my kids favorite part of the new play structure is the bucket seats swings, there is one plastic bucket seat swing, complete w/locking harness for each of the age groups 2-5 & 6-12. Second favorite part of this new play area at Lucchesi was the little wooden house/mailbox that contained a Free Community Library.

Great park for a walk, lovely baseball fields and things to do for kids. Pokemon Go is awesome here and the lake adds a nice touch. You don’t have to pay for parking which is nice. The geese can be formidable opponents and are quite mean, so watch out!

Beautiful Family Park..They used to have barbeque pits...With the 2017-18 wildfires All Sonoma County Proud Cities Are On High (red) Alert...A brand new baseball stadium opened up for the Mentally Challenge Children...Opening Day/Dedication..NONE OTHER THAN SF GIANT PITCHER DAVE DRAVECKY WAS THERE...GUARANTEED NOT TO BE DISAPPOINTED ... ENJOY

Lake + park + baseball + picinic tables, pluscit turns into an emergency center during climate emergencies

I used to love this park before all the construction and tacky ghilotti colors. The disc golf was removed along with an area of grass and trees that previously tied things together and made it feel more natural. There is bird feces and garbage everywhere. You can see up to 3 foot groupings of trash in the water. Ive found syringes on the ground. The tennis courts are often taken up for soccer games and it just seems to trashy to enjoy any more. The community needs to step in and arrange trash pickup days and scan the areas for needles before you let your kids play.

It was a nice place to visit.

Complete with Petaluma Community Center, Baseball, and Soccer fields (at the rear of the park, alongside Maria Drive). Watch out for ducks, geese, and frisby golf. Also has a large BBQ picnic area.

The new park is so awesome! My kids had the best time there. Only thing I would add/change is the fact that theres no nearby restroom, so you have to walk to either the community center or the other side of the park to use the bathroom.

I was just walking my dog and letting her smell all the different smells. checking out the different birds we both had a good time.

Its come a long way since I was a kid. It has it all, soccer, tennis, baseball and disc golf. Lots of room for dogs to have fun, the pond if you wish to see ducks

My son has Twice now found a syringe on the playgrounds. I will never take my children to this park again... its a shame to as its a lovely park

Really nice park. We only went to the playgrounds, so I cant speak to the other facilities there. Both playgrounds are nice, though the one to the north is for smaller kids I would say. However, a lot of it is covered, so you could play underneath when it rains.
