No cover charge to see Grateful Dead tribute band Dead Again and theyre pretty darn good - cant beat that! Small, intimate venue. Will be returning again and again- oh yeah!

The Big Easy has been one of our favorite clubs for the past couple of years,, but it seems to have ended having a good mix of bands from Thursday through Saturday, so I guess we wont be going there so often anymore...

Great little bar with a dive feel, but clean and warm. Ive heard amazing live bands here for only a 5.00 cover. Also one of the few bars I know with table service. Authentically friendly staff.

A great addition to Petaluma music/night life. We particularly enjoy the Big Band Wednesdays.

We like this club a lot, good sound system, BUT, they dont post a cover charge anywhere on the calendar, so it is always a surprise when they have a door man who demands money to get in...usually on the weekends...we go out to live music several times a week, so we have to know how much it costs so we can plan ahead...I always try to ask if the whole cover charge goes to the band, because that determines how I tip. Some clubs will tell the truth, and some dont, so it would be best if they all posted the charge at the door on every calendar and tell us who gets the money...its called transparency and is the new standard for the era of fake news. A good example is The Redwood Cafe the bad ones are anything to do with the Birsch Bros...

Great friendly staff, delicious food! I recommend the lobster Mac n cheese and tacos. Music is quite often free, and its cabaret style seating. Super clean bathrooms too.

Great intimate spot for live music. Lacks much of a dance floor, but it did make for a cozy atmosphere. Really great up close experience with the band.

Lot to like about this place, cozy basement atmosphere, funky decor. food from Speakeasy is great, as long as you get there EARLY and reserve a table (if not, forget it). but dont go when its crowded. took forever and a day to get a drink, bartender was too busy arranging glasses on the shelf when there are 10 people standing there waiting for a drink for 20 minutes! also acoustics are terrible, its a friggen basement.

I wish The Big Easy had bands that offer music that you can dance to. Like Rockn Roll!

Spacious bar, great food, and often free music. Can be hard to hear sometimes depending on whos playing, as can be expected.

My favorite bar in Petaluma! A Hammond B3, oldschool red curtains, dark lighting, dining booths, live music most nights. No liquor but always a great selection of local beers on tap and a good wine selection. Food is good, portions are on the smaller side.
