Called 2 weeks ago on Saturday that I was out of town and wanted to cancel for now for my daughters swimming lessons FOR NOW but would be back once I am back in town... I now see a charge on my card for the $89 monthly fee. Called right now and let them know what is going on and that I have a charge on my account. Lady on the phone tells me they don’t see any notes of cancellation. She said there is a 30 day cancellation policy and you will get charged for 30 days the $89 and since there is no records of me cancelling they have to charge me... also she states I have to go in to sign for a cancellation but I explain to her how I am not in town and won’t be back for a few months. I ask her if they are going to keep charging my card even though my daughter hasn’t gone in over 2 weeks. She then tells me that she can’t answer that but she will have a manager call me back. She said no manager works today so I have to wait until tomorrow... I WILL NOT BE RETURNING HERE. I wish this was explained over the phone 2 weeks ago when I called. If you are thinking of enrolling your little ones here do your research might have troubles when canceling. Now I am afraid that I will get a charge of $89 once a month for services not being used because I can’t go in and sign.
Coach Anthony, Denise and the rest of the staff are amazing. They are very friendly, knowledgeable and my kid feels very encouraged by coach Anthony.
Just okay. Weve been going to Hubbard since our baby was 8 weeks old and decided to try Aqua-Tots since theyre closer to our house since our baby was aging out of their free lessons. I was really underwhelmed by their teacher and curriculum. Hubbard seems to be more challenging and educational and much more fun. We will stay with them but Im glad to have at least been able to try Aqua-Tots risk free.
I would highly recommend this place for your childs swim lessons. My son is 5 months old and he absolutely loves it. The staff is always kind and enjoyable to work with.
Excellent! Amazing with children.
I am so happy and thankful I found this place. My son loves coming here and is the highlight of his week. He feels so comfortable with the instructors and has made such great progress since starting these lessons. Thank you so much for being amazing.
I love how comfortable my kiddo is with her instructors. She has been able to advance in her comfort so much since she started. The coaches are just as excited as she is when she is able to do skills. The front desk staff is amazing and friendly. I had one concern that was handled quickly and with care.
Honestly, I was kind of offended when you guys asked if I could come in for an hour and 45 minute group interview on a set day. You didnt ask me if my availability worked for that time, and unless your only hiring desperate, unemployed people; an hour and 45 minutes is a lot of someones time just to decide if you should consider them as a candidate..... well you have lost my interest, good luck aqua tots....
My granddaughter and grandson love it here. The instructors are awesome and they both have grown tremendously and are so much more comfortable in the water now. Strongly recommend!!!!
The staff is so helpful in listening to what is needed to help your child. All of the coaches go above and beyond to make sure the kids feel comfortable and do their best in the water. The kids are challenged and pushed a little, just enough, which is great. The communication is great as well.
My daughter (6 years) really enjoys learning swimming in aqua tots. Her coach - Aiden makes it fun for all the kids. While kids are swimming, the coach on the fly figures out best way to teach them based on their height, body weight and proficiency. While making it fun, he challenges them enough to stay interested and motivated without getting overwhelmed. My daughter has learned just so many techniques in just a few months and her love for swimming is back with full force. I would highly recommend this place
The instructors are awesome and our kids love going there. They are learning valuable skills and having fun. We strongly recommend them!
Its a matter of luck for you if you decide to join this school. You can have an amazing coach (if you are lucky as its rare there) or you can waste your time and money with a school that dont know how to deal with minor problems like changing a coach, scheduling a make up lesson or even answering a phone call.We have been with a nice coach but when she left and we asked for a professional coach, not a trainee, we were simply asked to never come back.. They have a terrible management.
We were on vacation, staying with grandparents in Sun City, in what Arizonians consider winter. This was the only place that was open for my 3 year old to get in a pool. She loved it and her teacher was GREAT! If we lived her she would be taking lessons for sure! Thanks for helping make our vacation great!
We love the swim coaches here! A tad pricy but we will definitely be back.
Good team, but chaotic and irresponsible management. My 2 sons spent 6 months there, then suddenly all their progress reports were lost and the instructor has changed twice. They were placed in wrong levels and wasted 2 weeks trying to figure out their correct level. Manager was not helpful and laterally said that this is the school fault but you take your kids to other school. Shocking!
My daughters skills have greatly increased and shes very comfortable in the water.
The staff is great and I highly recommend the coach Saahithi Mallapragada. My 3 yo daughter loves her classes.
Child specific goals each class helps them really grow in their swimming capabilities. The child’s individual card keeps everyone on track even if your child has a different instructor.
Love coach Erika she is very personable and thorough. My son loves her demeanor and spirit she brings to class. Thanks coach Erika.
A Big shout out to instructor Valaria Maestas !! She is soo patient and always smiling with kids. My baby (2y10m) really enjoys the class with her. Just in a month i see a lots of improvement in my baby . I would recommend this place to everyone.
When we started coming to Aqua-Tots the experience was fantastic. My daughter had an instructor that was phenomenal and really cared. She than left the school and the next instructor we had was amazing as well. The instructor was so great we decided to upgrade to private lessons with the instructor. Well that was clearly a bad move as for several weeks in a row the instructor did not show up leaving our child with no lesson. Now the school did compensate us for the inconvenience. We are then given a new instructor who was great until she fell into the same routine. One week, two weeks and than the final straw a third week in a row the instructor was a no show. At this point there is a clear issue with instructors showing up to work. We were informed by Alexis at the front desk that the manager would contact us regarding our concerns. Once again one day, two days well 7 days goes by no call from the manager. This location lacks communication on several different areas. Aqua Tots Peoria needs to understand nobody wants free credits, make up classes or a backpack. What we want is for instructors to show up and teach our children. We want instructors to communicate amongst each other so when a new instructor steps in my child is not having to start all over but take off from where they left off. As of today we still have not heard from the manager and thats ok as we have pulled our child from this location. If you dont want consistent instructors this is the place for you however if communication is important I would think twice about this location.
Staff is very friendly everytime you go in there. My child has achieved many milestones in a short amount of time and the teachers seem to genuinely care about the students. I would recommend this to everyone!
