This old racetrack Park that was built in 1921 is the biggest park in the middle of this city of Peoria Illinois. The state fair was held there in the 1920s.
Great stadium could be so much better though I must say the new electronic sign has done wonders toImprove the bleachers and the track
Life time of high school & semi- pro football memories awesome stadium.
Great public park.
Had a Wonderful Time there..lots of Security and friendly employees except for one employee a the gate close to War Memorial..I went there week b4 last told her I was 58 and got Senior Citizen Discount went to Manual and Central Game she still charged me regular Price. Look just because didnt look ole thats Not My fault and didnt ask for ID at all.. that isnt Right! And isnt FAIR
Evaluation is from a first-time visitor from out of town. Peoria Manual football game. Several times I Googled the game and the school trying to find out where the game was. Found nothing.Drove to the school location and no game. Stopped a young man on the street and he told me it was at the Peoria Stadium.Being late for the game I was not amused by this time.Visibility from the stands was good. I sat on the visitor side. Still dont know if they have concessions or where they were. Not a lot of people at the game so parking wasnt bad .Would rate the facility as good. Highly recommend that you fix the websites so out-of-town visitors can Google the game and know where it is going to be played period an address would be nice.People that dont live here and Ive never been here before are going to assume the games at the school. Just cuz everyone a Peoria knows where its at doesnt mean people out of state or County know where its at. Very frustrating
Love the Ricketts. For walks but plenty room for fenced in area for dogs. Maybe a police presence once in while...
Good place to watch games
We came, we saw, we kick some azzzz! 28-8.. Bloomington
A lovely evening for slow pitch softball
The parking sucks. Easy to get into but could be a killer to get out. The fields are okay at best.
No major League park, but very nice and had a great time.
Fun place to watch the little ones okay baseball.
Nice arena terrible security. A fight broke out and my daughter got maced on accident from them trying to break it up!
Great old stadium that needs refurbished. Peoria needs this venue for high school athletics
This was Our stadium... we played our homecoming and home football games on this field.. &. in 1976... the bicentennial celebration fireworks, bands and community dance team did a Rockette inspired high kick routine to the tune of stars and stripes forever, I was on the team! .. ... I played on the traveling Peoria blue womens fastpitch softball and that was our practice field. Wow . Glory days... no Wal-Mart EVER.
Nice place to have a family gathering and love the trail for dog walking
