Very clean and up to date with Covid-19 policies

Went in on a Friday early evening. I found what I was looking for, wandered a little and finally went up to pay. There were 2 lanes open, with the lightning one of them flashing. I then saw the line. Yes, I counted! 20 people standing in line. Yes, some of them might have been together, but still. I put my item back and left. There was an employee outside gathering carts.

I’ve been going to this place for years now. I have had issues once or twice because of their dirty bathroom. No toilet paper or hand soap. The employees are wonderful and very helpful. I try always going to the same employees. Not too many familiar faces around anymore. They have great ideas most of the time. Kathy, Micah, Liz, Ariel, and Isabel are the employees that always helped me around. I recommend you looking for them. Very very good and outstanding customer service from them.

Im normally pleased with the Pembroke Pines location but I only go there unless I must. But for some reason, that day, the service was excellent. The cashier was friendly along with the manager.

Michaels has a lot of nice things, but I found them to be a bit pricey on some items. The line was long and only 2 cashiers were working. However the cashiers were very friendly and had a great personality.

Came in for a quick run in despite rain and got everything I needed and then some hahaVery organized and cleanBut the best part was John my cashier he was so sweet only employee who was beaming with enthusiasm and kindnessI’m gonna make this my new Michaels I go to just for John he was a joy

I visit Michaels at least twice a week and I get everything I need and more. Today I had the pleasure of meeting John, a Michaels associate and he was phenomenal, professional and so pleasant to speak with. Special thank you to John for making my experience today one to remember.

I often shop here for art supplies. The store is always clean. The staff is very professional.

Went to find clay... asked an associate for help.... only she didnt speak english. Had a hard time locating items.

This is the second time my wife has used this location. Now both times have been unpleasant. She placed an order for curbside pickup about 2 weeks ago, called like they said when she arrived, they confirmed and would bring it out. Well after waiting 18 minutes, she gets an alert that her ordered was picked up and thank you. Well she went in the store and asked whats going on with the order and she was waiting, only to be told that oh we were supposed to be bring it out. UH YES YOU WERE!. The order was sitting on the shelf where there were at least 5 employees that could have delivered the order curbside, instead of sitting it on the shelf.Today she placed an order because she cant leave work for same day delivery, which is on the website, and just received an email the order was cancelled. WELL not one phone call, not one email to suggest pickup if they couldnt deliver it, not ANYTHING. Just a cancellation with no explanation. I can spend my money elsewhere. If this location has a problem with catering to the customers or serving the public, maybe try closing it or getting new staff that want to work!

If youre into crafting joanns might be a better fit this Michaels seemed to stock more home decor items

This is one of favorite places ever!!!! My coupon was expired and the cashier gave another! They have always great sales going on and for letting your creative side out there is nothing like Michaels. In my last visit I got everything to make painting.

HORRIBLE! I ordered something for curb side pick up, to do so when you arrive you have to call and confirm you are there. After calling about 50 million times with no answer I had to go inside to wait in line to then get 4 freaking bird houses. I don’t mind going inside I understand with everything going on it can be a little crazy. however it is extremely unprofessional not to answer the phone

Had a 50% off coupon for an in store and or online purchase (one item) through a text promotion Michaels has going on. The text sent me a code and a link to the site but no bare code. The clerk at the register refused to accept the coupon (even with proof of cooperation to receive the discount). I explained to her that the offer was for I store and online but she refused and didn’t allow me to use the discount. I’ve attended this Michaels store since I was In middle school, usually with CODE the discount is offered (and looked up which the clerk didn’t even attempt to do nor ask management for assistance). I don’t expect five star service from an arts and crafts store but simply making an effort to do better would have seemed more like the service I’m use to getting at Michaels and would have resolved the issue.

Store was messy, no one to assist you on the floor and a lot of items had no price. How times have changed for the worse

Greatest Michaels ever. The lady named Ivelisse is especially nice. Helped me with my online order and helped me find some Posca Markers. The manager is doing a good job. I was able to use a 50% off coupon on my purchase. And the store is relatively clean. Will order here again soon.

You can see the store is suffering. Poor organization, poorly trained staff, they dont know where things are and dont know their operations and some dont know English(I hate to admit to this last comment because my family are immigrants too and everyone needs to work, but customers need to be able to be helped). Lacking in restocking supplies. They must have had a huge turn over and it shows. To be fair staff were friendly and tried to help, especially if I spoke in Spanish.

Rarely find people that can help when you are in the aisles. Ive never been able to get through the line in less than 20 minutes, no matter the time of day. The reason for the 4 stars are for the employees you do interact with have always been very nice and helpful(for pickup orders).

I went for a 10 shelf storage container. I walked around the store for a while because I could not find a sales associate. I found the container on my own. Its Its cute and was $30 as advertised.

Best michaels ever.. we go all the time as both my kids are in art classes and this one is by far the best. staff is so helpful and spend a lot of time with the kids to explain everything and make sure they get what they need. they even give us ideas on projects (:

Horrible costumer service. It was car cub pick up, you had to call the store and no one answered me in 1 hour, and when the employees came out they avoided me and just told me: call again. No want to come back at all.

Absolutely the worst service at Michaels located 11300 Pines Blvd, in Pembroke Pines. The morning weekend supervisor is extremely rude. This Micheals just sets a bad precedence for the other stores. I would rather shop in another city than put up with the unprofessional behaviour of the team at this particular location. This store is not honest to their word, and customer service is not a priority to them. They are not worthy of any stars, but in order to write a review I had to start out with 1 star.

Bought a gift paper holder and didnt notice the top was all taped up. After packing all my gift paper in and about to open the top section it wouldnt close because of numerous cracks. Now I cant be bothered to unpack and take it back but I might just do that now. Shame on Michaels to put that broken item back on the shelves for unsuspecting customers. You really have to examine purchases nowadays.

We came to see if Michaels had dessert cups. We found one we liked but they only had one box of 12 and we needed 17.Spoke to store associate Arelly and asked if she could check the storage bin above the rack to see if maybe they had more dessert cups. She first checked to see if any more were in stock. The scanner said Michaels was carrying ZERO of the cups we were looking for even though we had one in hand. Moving forward despite her fear of heights, she helped us 100% and we found more dessert cups. Thank you for going above and beyond!

A lot of items for paint if you are into it.

Michaelsmy first time at this location. I visited looking for some sneaker paint wich they didnt carry the brand I was looking for so I walked around lots of good merchandise and a lot on clearance. Prices were reasonable the only down fall was that I couldnt find anyone on the sales floor to assist me at all. this happend to me the both times I visited within a week.but I will definitely recommend and Revisit.

The framing department in this store has the worst customer service experience Ive ever come across. They are always understaffed and the wait time is unbearable. I put an order to frame my daughters canvas and the employee who assisted me was distracted and all over the place. Was she on drugs? Could be. Such weird and unprofessional behavior. I came to pick up the frame and it was nowhere to be found. I returned a week later and the order was completely wrong - what else was I expecting?Very disappointed of this place. Wont return again.

Reasonable prices and a great selection of items involving arts, crafts and decoration. The only downside is that it is a bit challenging to find help or field inquiries while shopping. I found the store layout to be well organized.

Michaels has many items for many seasons. We were there for Halloween and found many items lying on the ground around the area where they were supposed to be displayed in. Cashier was friendly, and overall a good experience but the store should be more organized.

Ive been a customer for many years. They can be a little pricey but they usually have what we need and then some. The employees or always helpful & freindly.

Disappointed, my daughter said in her Michaels she can get multi-pack inexpensive 9*12 frames for her watercolor paintings. This Michaels and the one in Oakwood Plaza dont have them, only 8*10 and 8.5*11. Just found out they give an educator discount, Ive been missing out on it! So if youre an educator, take advantage of it.

Shout out to Michaels employees doing everything possible to deliver orders.There is a sign at the door with instructions ( besides the email) about he Curbside and there still people standing at the door. Reading is fundamental!!

I was assisted with a product search by a very patient and professional gentleman. He did his due diligence in assisting me with the specific product that I was searching for. I wish that asked for his name, nonetheless he was doing inventory in the middle of the store near the jewlery making section. Theres was a woman, probably in training with him (she didnt have on a uniform). I had a peasant shopping experience and hope that the employee can get acknowledged for his exceptional customer service(9/6/19 store visit at approx 3:10p). It is greatly appreciated, the store is organized and clean. The location is prepping for the upcoming holidays. I noticed a few Christmas decor items.

Well I got to this store looking for stuff I needed for my wedding. Which was coming up in 3 days. 1/26/19. I found everything I needed, but the hardest thing for me was trying to make my bouquet. The theme were Blue and Gold, but didn’t know where to start! I bumped into Arielle and asked her for help, she showed me where the flowers were and on top of that, she had helped me pick out the flowers and all the items I needed for my bouquet! She put everything together for me! I have to tell you she made my day. She has extremely great customer service and she was so glad to help. I really appreciate all she did for me, and I will always remember her! The bouquet came out gorgeous! I’m so glad she is part of your team! Please thank her for me, and employees like her should never go unnoticed! Thank you so much.

I love Michaels in general. Theres always a long line but it moves fairly fast. What I didnt appreciate was that I received a gift card since they had a promotion going that if you spend $40+ you get a $10 gift card for Michaels. When I went to redeem it apparently you had to use it by Dec 31st. The cashier told me that a lot of customers didnt kabir about it and lost it. My initial thought was, if you know people werent told why not honor it or try to make up for it. I didnt say anything though bc I dont like feeling like Im taking advantage or something. Other than that, its a good location.

Absolutely terrible service!Was promised my artwork to be framed in two weeks but when I went in after waiting two weeks it’s not ready and was told that it will be priority as they made me a promise and did not keep it, so I left and called the day because I was assured it would be ready. First phone call I waited 33 minutes to get transferred to the framing department and eventually I hung up as no one was answering so I called back and waited 10 minutes this time only to be told the exact same story I heard the day before that the framing guy was not there and it would be put as priority. I proceed to tell the lady that I heard that exact story the day before and when can I actually expect to get a correct and honest answer as to when my work will be ready which by the way I paid for in full she then tells me she can’t answer that and blatantly hangs up on me.Disgusting service and attitude!

They usually have what you are looking for in a craft store. It was a bit crammed when I was there bit I know they should be moving by Spring to a larger store a couple of blocks away.

I love the amount of different creative hobby selections offered

The store was a mess, understaffed and undertrained. So unfortunate. When I asked the cashier a question she told me to look it up online. I ended up walking out and not buying anything because I had already looked online and couldnt determine which product was the correct one for the cricket machine.
