Drove up from Phoenix Sunday. Took about two hours and we were there looking out at the world. Actually the Tonto National Forest. A storm was moving so there was wind and sprinkles but it was grand. The clouds were floating fast toward the cliffs and rolling right up over the rim. Mountain air was cool, clear and crispy clean (unlike Phoenix).

Absolutely stunning. Not much else to say.

Fantastic views. Right on the 300 which feeds lots of roads that lead north to lakes and great camping spots close by
