The room and accommodations were nice but the very strong cigarette smell throughout the casino, halls, and my room was just bad. The pool area was very nice and did not smell like cigarettes. I ate at the sports bar and the server was not very attentive or caring. She was working on the casino floor as well as our table in the sports bar. Very disappointed in the stay.

Thank you for having truck parking. To show my appreciation. I had dinner at the restaurant which was delicious. Left the waitress a $40 tip on a $20 bill & left $20 at the blackjack table. But as they say in Vegas : There are no losers. Some people just pay a higher entertainment tax. See you next time.

We like this Casino. Good restaurant and reasonable gambling. They were enforcing their mask policy quite rigorously but seem to have backed off recently. That is a show stopper for us as we are both older and dont really need covid. Vegas, at the Palace Station, was rigorous - with violators warned once and then escorted out. That is the correct policy. We would like to see Mazatzal do the same.

Great senior pot roast dinner for under 10 bucks. Plenty of food for a great price.Casino is clean, well spaced out. Really fun dealers in the card room

Two blackjack dealers were great. Also like that the table games were away from the noisy slots so it made it easier to talk to the dealer & other guests with masks & plexiglass barriers.

A good place to stop n play, eat or just watch the game in the bar. They also have hotel rooms.

To be honest, probably my least favorite casino. Not much variety, most slot machines Grand Prize is pretty small and it is hard to find a machine with a good pay to play ratio. To be honest, I dont expect to win, if I go to a casino to have fun. Its just not not really fun when you dont even win enough to keep going awhile. I prefer Laughlin or even Honda casino in Lakeside.

Wonderful, my lady friend and I enjoyed our dinner meal. She also hit a jackpot that was substantial. We ate Rib eye steak and chicken marsala, along with soup. Prepared just right. Kudos to your staff. Patrick Henry.

The rooms were great and the staff was absolutely awesome! Very friendly and went out of their way to help and make the environment comfortable. The front desk ladies and the security team were very attentive and helpful and friendly.

We tried to find a place to park our RV and trailer today Sept 3 2020. We saw you were open but the main parking lots were full. We found some space where the firefighters are parked but they were adamant that we go over and park where he told us I said there should be a sign. He said there is. We drove to that area saw a small sign pointing to where where 2 large trucks are parked. The small area made it too difficult to park so we left. I understand the firefighters should have a designated area. But when they are using only half they shouldn’t be as territorial. We left. This message may not mean much but we will reconsider our choice of coming to your casino in the future.

This place is great and the regulars that play here are awesome people. I hit jackpots all the time here but only in the bar area and I play keno. Have fun and best of luck to ya.

Nice place to stay. The little casino is fun and pays out a little. The food is good too. The rooms are big and well stocked with everything you need. The beds are nice, water pressure is high. The walls are a little thin. The staff was great!

Hotel looked like it is a hotel 6. Giant spit wod on the ceiling(I hope that is what it was). Casino asked for mine and my wifes id 4x, almost employees were trying to justify their jobs. I would recommend Gila or wild horse mazatzal any day of the week. But then again i would recommend pretty much anywhere over this hotel and casino

It was small but cute. The slots i like to play were taken dont have very many but for a quick stop it was fun.

Just went for breakfast. Had the short stack of blueberry pancakes. They were huge and tasted very good. The prices were great. The waitress was very nice and the service was great. I liked that they gave you a thermal pitcher of coffee. It was very clean and comfortable. Will go again. Wednesdays they have all you can get crab between 4pm and 9pm for $20.00.

After an 11 1/2 hour work day, I grabbed some dinner on my way to check in, and then had to wait 15 minutes at the front desk to get a room because the line checkin person was “walking the halls”. By the time I finally got to my room, my dinner was cold and I was pissed. I called the hotel manager to let her know of the situation and NEVER GOT A CALL BACK. It was unbelievable. The room was fine - nothing special. But the service was definitely lacking. For a nicer, larger hotel, the service was worse than a Motel 6.

Great day get away, close to the valley, had a blast, I won $250 on a dollar machine. I will be going back soon.

The service had horrible attitudes, (all but one person) and our room had a giant spitball on the ceiling when we arrived. My older cousin was carded for alcohol and then kicked out of the casino area even though he is 39 years old.. He just moved to AZ and gets treated like this since his ID was expired at the time.. But the rest of my family was not. Whats that about? He doesnt look 16, and the lady that carded him acting so immature. Not to mention I was being watched by security for hours, I look very young but why was I being stalked? Unacceptable.

Candies and while Im in Payson I like stopping here with my friends. The drinks are very good. Always get their bloody Marys.

Never been there and after what I see here, never going. Despite what the owner thinks I have never heard of a hotel that doesnt allow guests to bring their own beverages into the hotel, NEVER! And I have been working in the hotel industry for 8 years and my girlfriend for 20.

My Best friend and I have choosen this Hotel and Casino many times, and always had a great time, but the last time we stayed, we were told NO adult beverages or any other beverages could be in our ice chest, and that our suitcases would also be searched, weve never caused any problems, and felt very invaded with this, we use to enjoy sitting out on the balcony of our room enjoying a cold beer, before wed head down to gamble, eat and enjoy ourselves, but not anymore... Well spend our money and time at a Hotel Casino that doesnt treat you like Criminals.

Great place to come spend some money and or win money. I like the vibe here besides the fact if you look under 25 you’ll most likely be carded like 5 times through out the night. Great staff, great machines and the cleanliness of this place is on point!Side note:Card at the door like you should and I won’t have to have to keep reaching for my id multiple times through out the night. This would be the third time now this has happened, where I get carded 3-6 times in one night.

The security at the door was rude again. The steak at their restaurant was great and made up for having to deal with the jackwagon at the door.

I love this little Casino. Blackjack dealers are very friendly! They are great at answering questions when new to a particular game and give rationale of why you should or should not make a move. I usually sit and play for 5 to 7 hours. Table limit allows for this, and even better when you win. They really appear that they want you to win. We like Mazatzal better than Phx area Casinos.

Nice and cozy casino, staff was pleasant. Small amount of games to choose from, mostly classical games, and unfortunately the card tables dont open up until noon on weekdays, so thats why I subtracted 2 stars.

Very disappointed in how tight the slots are. Were from Ohio and have visited the area for the last 15 years or so. This casino was always something we really looked forward to visiting. We never won big on the slots but were always able to play for 5-6 hours at a time. It seems that many fewer people are going to the casino. The management may have tightened up the slots to make up for fewer patrons. I would recommend loosening up the slots a bit. Im sure more people would come if they thought they might be able to win some money or even lose a little but over a period of time. Sure hope the management makes some adjustments to their payouts. A 15¢ return on a $2.00 bet isnt much of a win.

Nice casino, cozy, staff not breathing down your neck .NO COFFEE AS A FREE BEVERAGE. COCA-Cola products including Red Cream soda Mmmm. They fail to preadvise you that the $10.00 free play you get for joinng their players club is not valid for 24 hrs after you get your card and must be used with-in 30 days or you lose it. Rooms- only 40 of them, didnt have one, but the hotel looks real nice from outside

I dont gamble much, I will play wolf run 2 and diVinci diamonds, but understand there is no real winning, walk on a game with that understanding, then you wont blow money like a fool. I won $2,700 on slots so that was allot of fun.The hamburgers are awesome special barbeque sauce. Plenty of slots and tables, excellent air cleaning system, we did not leave reaking of cigarette smoke! Friendly staff and the hotel rooms were immaculate. The casino is surrounded by beautiful pine forests and mountain views. It is a great escape from the valley heat!

First casino Ive been to since January...feels good

The property and facilities are very nice. So is the theme and design. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. I say room because that is what the hotel called it, but, I think it was more like a suite with two impeccably clean rooms.For the gamblers, youll find great slots!The only slightly drawback is its remoteness. You have to drive quite a distance through beautiful pine forests, rugged canyons and clean fresh air.Did I say drawback??? Hardly!

In my opinion this casino has some of the better payouts in the state. I won over 800 on a 40 cent bet. Several other small wins over my stay from 100 to 600 as well.

We had a great time. The casino is clean and well maintained. The staff is very helpful and courteous. All of the rooms are suites, they look brand new, theyre also very clean and they are comfortable. They have two flat screen TVs in each suite as well as either one King or two Queen beds and a pull-out. They have a microwave, small refrigerator and a K-cup coffee maker and the coffee is delicious. Id stay there again in a heartbeat.

I love this casino. I am here daily. Not too many people at one time. Staff is very friendly which makes for a more comfortable environment unlike many other casinos Ive been to. Slot machines are a lot less expensive to play on as well. Hotel rooms are clean, fresh and comfortable. The grille as well as the restaurant food is absolutely delicious. Only thing I would like to see change is better player rewards.

Best BLACKJACK for hundreds of miles. Great table rules, dealers are on your side & are allowed to give you professional advice, $5 min bet is fun for beginners and veterans alike, not to mention the blackjack tournaments they hold weekly. If youre a fan of blackjack, these tables will not disappoint.
