Definitely has gone downhill. They dont care about the outside of the building or landscaping. And they let teenagers go and act, say, behave however they want. Will not be back. Not a good family environment.

We went to South County Lanes this past weekend. We really enjoyed the bowling and considered staying longer. However, the music had inappropriate language and was very loud. We really would enjoy and frequent this establishment more if they were to change music choice.

In general it is a nice place. They have good lazar tag and pretty good bowling. I loved the experience. But then I went to the arcade. It is a SCAM! The only thing that works is the rigged claw machine. I tried the ski ball, but it just ate my tokens, I was furious. They made you pay for the tokens and then not get the experience of ski ball. The basketball machine has only flat basketballs and doesnt even work. When I went to the employees they just smirked and went along with their day. So in general do not use the arcade. Also, the food is disgusting and overpriced. Just go somewhere else to get food. So just go there for bowling or lazar tag and dont waste your time on the other stuff.

Great for family fun but every lane has some sort of a bow in it so those who go bowling for a team or solos to get practice it isnt worth it although it is still fun for everyone.

Cute little bowling alley. We ordered onion rings for the table and got burgers and fries. The fry sauce is a little bland but it’s definitely homemade. The bacon cheeseburger was delicious and really hit the spot. It was a fun afternoon bowling and eating with friends. They do have leagues but we still had a lane as soon as we walked in.

Sat here every wednesday through saturday night watching teenagers throw balls overhand at the pin setter. No longer patronizing this establishment

Price was decent. $21 dollars for two games for two people.It was half to 3/4 full when we came. Decent ball selection for being the last.Lanes are well taken care of. Pizza is available to buyWhen we went we smelled slot of smoke. Not sure If it was the place or the people

Older building showing its age inside and the arcade half of the games did not work. The laser tag and bowling was fun would go back.

They made arrangements for my preschool class to come bowl. The kids had a blast.

It was pretty good. The employees are very nice. The only problem was the game board kept messing up, and the bathrooms need some updating. No.big deal. We had a lot of fun

NEVER GO HERE, this place has such horrible customer service and they literally took out the drinking fountains and make you pay 1$ for a cup of water. Their food will literally make you sick every time and their bathrooms always have something broken.

Our first time bowling here I was surprised when we went inside. Nicer and cleaner than I expected from a bowling alley. It also had laser tag. During the summer they have some good deals during the non weekend days. Otherwise it costs about $5 for shoes and 10 frames

We came here for a neighborhood part that was thrown by our apartment complex and we were really impressed with the awesome prices they have for unlimited bowling and laser tag deals! We weren’t paying when we went, but it was overall a great time. The food was so so, and the bowling alley is a little older, but We will definitely be back based on the prices.

Fun place and a normal price. Ive been here a few times and its always petty slow, so easy to get a lane! Laser tag arena is really cool too. I didnt like the pizza, 5 stars if it was at least as good as little Caesars lol.

Nice place and no mask required

The employees were very nice and patient even when they were very busy. They took good care of our needs and answered our questions. They gave us a good lane (we reserved ahead of time) and it was a great joy to go bowling. There were many bowling balls available to choose from though I did notice several of them were nicked or chipped a bit due to the use. But that really didnt stop us from having a good time and good games. Just wish I was better at bowling.

We had fun. We bowled and time went by really quickly. I dont have any complaints. The staff was friendly. The restrooms were clean. The whole place was well kept. I would like to spend more of my free time here.

Lots of fun! The bowling was awesome along with the laser tag. My only problem is that the laser tag was scary. Not the best place for kids. The laser tag area is mummy themed and super creepy. But it was so fun. So if you don’t get scared easily it super awesome!

Showed up one Saturday with 30 people - we wanted to do their awesome 8.50 special which includes bowling, laser tag, hotdog and a drink. Unfortunately we were unaware that you needed to call ahead and reserve, mainly to make sure the bowling alley had enough of everything - and because the bowling ally is packed on Saturdays.Rather than making us pay normal price for a game of bowling and laser tag, which wouldve cost us so much extra, the manager there allowed us to still do the deal. Great customer service. We had so much fun - we were there for 3 1/2 hours.We will definitely come again, but this time we will call ahead and reserve :)

This place has gone down hill recently but it is the only bowling alley around here! The old owners were much better at appealing to its customers needs! But this place does now have a small Lazer tag course and an arcade!

The staff was ok, they definitely could have been more into their job. The prices were ok but I could have easily found a cheaper and nicer place. The bathrooms werent well taken care of and they stunk. It was also pretty run down and the walls had many holes in them. Kinda sketchy

First time here and we enjoyed it. Family of 5. Shoe rentals and 1 game was about $27. Clean. Lots of room to move. Pool tables. Small token arcade. Laser tag. We will be back.

We came to do some late night bowling, since they dont close til midnight. We got there shortly before 11 and they wouldnt open a lane for us. We had 3 people and only wanted to bowl 1 game, but they wouldnt do it! Pretty stupid thing to do if youre open til midnight! It doesnt take an hour for 3 people to bowl one game!

Fun place to bowl or play pool, they also have laser tag. They need more bowling balls though. Its hard to find one that fits your fingers and has the correct weight.

I take my kids here about every other month and we all have a great time. Food is delicious and the prices are about as low as youll find anywhere else in Utah county. The help is usually great and attentive to any problem. Used the laser tag just once and it was a lot of fun especially at the end with the breakdown of how everyone performed.The place is clean and not the most updated in the world, but its nice to unwind. Regarding some of the older folks and not bowling at the same time just show some respect and dont throw a ball at the same time, take turns. Its good to teach my kids about how to respect others around us.Really appreciate a fun, safe place to take my kids.PRO TIP: if youve lost your keys at the end of the night, make sure they are not in the pocket of your oldest kid. Might save some time.

While the laser tag was enjoyable I was understandably thirsty after constant running for 30 minutes and went to find a drinking fountain. after searching for several minutes and being unable to locate one I asked the cashier who informed me that it was broken but that I could purchase water for 75 cents. Frankly any establishment with activities whose nature causes participants to become thirsty and then charge customers for a cup of water when they have easy access to it when the drinking fountains are out of order is not a very good one

This place is like a hidden gem! Bowling is great with 16 lanes of fun! Laser tag, arcades and pool tables to top off the fun! The food is served to your table as you bowl, with choices of soda, burgers, chicken strips, and now pizza, salad bar, breadsticks and more. A restaurant out front for the pizza and salad bar. A great place for kids birthday parties, or an afternoon/evening of fun for the entire family! prices are exactly where they should be for bowling and food. $5 - $10 Per person depending on what activities you do!

Five stars for being a bowling dive joint. Dont be a prude! Also be aware that if you hold the highest standards in cleanliness, modern technology, service and functionality.... You should consider a Fat Cats or similar, updated, newer place.

My laser tag experience was cut short by angry managers saying my time was up when the timer on the screen displayed 7 minutes left. Bowling afterwards took too long and the attendants were helping the other customers behind us before setting up our game. The experiences were great but the service was terrible

Bowling was good. Pizza is putrid. No other way to describe it. Oh and pizza because its so awful, its therefore overpriced.

My family comes together here each year at Christmas tme; they work hard to keep us all happy.

The only good thing I can say is the place is well kept, super clean, nice area. It was $20 for 10 frames, crazy overpriced. The customer service was garbage, we were treated like a nuciounce. Will NOT be going back.

We had our sons 5th birthday party at South County Lanes today, IT WAS AWESOME!!! I went in a few weeks ago to get things set up for the party. I kind of had a guess of how many people were coming so they knew what Lanes to reserve for me. Yesterday I let them know there would be much more than I had originally expected, there response? No problem! I go today with a count and had a few last-minute people show up, the response again? No problem! We had almost 20 people bowl, and 30 people eat. Everything went great! The party room in the back is also a bonus. I was able to decorate it with my own decorations to make it custom for my sons party. He said it was the best birthday ever! Highly recommended, South County Lanes could not have done anything to make it better or easier for me :-)

South county continues to go down hill. They have disappointed me time and time again over the years and now Im just to the point I wont bowl there again. They have staff that just doesnt care and shows little to no care for the avg consumer. Their lanes are terrible to bowl on and the conditions of the lanes just seem to be getting worse. I wish I could give the alley a positive review considering they are the only ones in the later 20 miles of Utah county. They have obviously changed their business interests from being a proper bowling alley to a run down place that happens to have bowling and make a few bucks.

This place isnt the same as it was a few years ago. All the staff were teenagers. Some of them did not have the best attitude. I think this place could use some work but its a good boiling alley

When we went, we pretty much had the place to ourselves. It was on a weeknight and the place was empty. Our experience was good.Bowling was fun and we didnt have any difficulties. Pricing for the bowling was great, considering we spent a couple hours here. I felt the price was fair.We got some snacks and drinksfrom the cafe/snackbar, it was prepared quick and priced OK.We didnt do the laser tag.

The lanes work well (most of the time). This place is dirty and small. They will keep you waiting in line for food service even after they look up and notice you standing there. Im talking about waiting for 5 minutes or more.The prices arent really much cheaper than good lanes.

Terrible employees, bad environment and terrible conditions for kids and families.1. Its over 85 (probably over 90. They wouldnt tell us the inside temperature) degrees inside with no air conditioning going. Its hot and stuffy ( almost like sitting in a hot car in a parking lot). Not good for kids due to this reason. We left after 10 minutes of being there. Bowled 3 times and asked for a refund due to conditions and wouldnt even acknowledge there was a problem.2. Employees and useless. Cant even touch the air conditioning. Cant refund money and just make excuses. Comes down from ownership. Is name is apparently Bob at least thats what Bobby said.3. They dont even have decent shoes or your shoe sizes. Wast of time and money.I encourage anyone thinking of bowling just drive to Provo or Orem area and get a place that actually has AC good employees and the amenities are good. Fat cats would be great!

Love this bowling alley, theyve definitely upgraded within the last few years. Bowling isnt too expensive, super busy on Friday nights though. Come here for the occasional date night. We love it! Plus they have really good fries..

Fun place! Rarely busy and it has bowling and laser tag. It was a bit dirty and some nachos we ordered took a bit longer than expected but overall was a very nice place.

I have never been treated so horribly by any employee, anywhere! Only to ask too speak to a manager and only be treated worse!! First time ever coming here and defiantly the last. If an employee doesnt have the communication skills to be kind to a guest in your business maybe get employees that understand customer service.

The bowling was great, and lots of fun. The pizza crust was way too thin, though.

Myself and my family came here for our nephews birthday party today 05/19/18 the person running the front counter with really curly hair and glasses was beyond rude the service was absolutely ridiculous and horrible!!!! The pizza was so greasy I couldnt eat it without it dripping grease all over the plate. Bowling was alright expect for the fact the lane went down and we waited forever to get it fixed. We do not plan on coming back we had hopes as to the new owners would have turned this place around but we feel as if it has gone deeper into the ground.

Lanes occasionally stopped working while there, however the employees were great and getting everything fixed quickly, and were really friendly overall.

The bowling was ok and if all I tried was bowling Id have given it 3 or 4 stars but I made the mistake of trying the arcade. The arcade looked like it might be going under construction because it was trashed but the games were on and there was no sign so we ventured in. The majority of games were broken some would eat your coins and then not give you credit others would allow you to start but then not recognize critical aspects for example shooting games not detecting where you are aiming so it always thinks your shooting off screen, and only a single paddle for air hockey. The people working were friendly and refunded the coins the first time but after the machine ate them a second time I didnt want to hunt some one down again. Oh and the fact you needed to exchange your money for tokens instead of just allowing quarters bugged me because instead of walking away after realizing how poor the games were maintained I felt needed to spend the rest of my coins. Maybe the laser tag is better but Id steer clear of the arcade.

Its fun for the price. The lanes are uneven and never seem to be waxed right. I wouldnt go for a serious game of bowling but for a fun night with little kids its good.

The staff is so friendly. I take my friend with special needs there every Saturday and they are always so kind and respectful. Ive always found the lanes much more well kept than some of the more expensive lanes up in Provo. They also open up their space to youth and community groups.

I came here for a dance date and was not impressed. When we arrived, the bowling alleys were all full, so we decided to play a round of laser tag while we waited. We were told it would take about ten minutes to get it set up, which we were fine with. We just played pool in the back while we waited. However, an hour and a half passed and we still had yet to get in and had not been contacted by an employee about why there was such a delay. After an hour and forty minutes, we finally went and talked to them, to which we were rudely told that there were other groups that had already paid and were ahead of us, even though it had been completely open when we had arrived. We had to switch to bowling, which was now open, although we were 1-2 hours behind schedule. Although Im generally fine with waiting and there was probably some miscommunication, this was ridiculous. I got the feeling that we were being ignored because we were all teenagers with no adult around, which I found offensive, because we were all mature and werent disruptive in any way. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Very disappointed in the bowling. The balls keep getting stuck. The table eating areas were not clean. The food was over priced and under cooked. My daughter had a terrible birthday experience their.

They gave us a discounted rate for our group, which was nice. The only complaint I had was that the balls kept getting jammed up in the back, which was an inconvenience for both the management and us.We honestly felt bad that they had to keep making the trek back there to fix it, and of course the wait time wasnt ideal. Otherwise however we liked the experience. Didnt try the laser tag, will have to try that another time. Looked fun though!

Went there for a cub scout activity. The kids had a lot of fun. But I was very unimpressed with the staff. It was hard to get their help. One employee seemed really put out and annoyed that she had to help us at all. But it was a good experience other than that.

Immediately after entering the place it felt run down and it was completely empty besides one other couple. They charge the same price for a higher-end bowling alley. It didnt wow me at all. The staff seem bored and not happy to be there. Honestly I dont blame them. Overall this place is okay but I wont be going out of my way to visit this place again.

The employees were friendly and even helped me to improve my bowling ability. The lanes are many and there are a multitude of other activities one could enjoy.

Crowded. The staff was very unprofessional. They told us it would be a 10-15 minute wait when in reality we had to wait an hour. Then we finally got to our lane and the old people next to us didnt want our kids bowling at the same time they were so we waited another 30 minutes for them to finish. They wont give you a cup of ice water. Overall there was no customer service. They dont like kids. Nachos are terrible. And good luck finding a bowling ball big enough for someone who has man sized hands lol. Never going back

The staff was super nice and helpful even when our party was quite high maintenance (little kids with balls getting stuck in the gutter, adding and deleting people as they came and left). We had a great time and were able to feed the kids corn dogs and fries for only $2. We went on a Thursday night so I am not sure what the atmosphere is like on a weekend.

You cant expect any place in Payson to be top-notch, but its a cheap date night. Went with an old friend and we had a great time. Its pretty ghetto, but thats great if youre just looking for a little escape from kids or a cheap teenage date. I dont know what this is that everyone is saying about smoking and bars... It smelled just fine while I was there, and I didnt note anything. Worth a shot. Cheap enough, too! :)
