One of my favorite aspects of our wedding WAS Ten 31!! I wanted our wedding to stand out from any other we had been to and I loved the unique touch that it added to our day. I worked with Joe during the planning process and he was such a pleasure to work with. He always answered my emails quickly and was patient with any questions that I had. He had great ideas and suggestions on how to incorporate their living statues into our day. We first hired one of the gargoyles to be outside the venue with a sign inviting guests in. We got married at the Providence Library so Joe actually surprised me and what I thought was going to be just a simple sign was actually a book the gargoyle was holding. It was such a fun surprise and really fit our venue! I really appreciated that he took the extra time and thought to add that special note to our day! We also had two statues setup during our cocktail hour. I think my only complaint would be that we had originally talked about the two statues serving white and red wine to our guests but I don’t think that actually happened from what our guests said and any pictures we have seen (we were doing our photos during cocktail hour so we were not around for it). So instead the statues interacted with guests and posed for the hour. While I wish they had served the wine like we wanted, our guests still said they absolutely loved them and thought they were unique! After our introductions, the statues passed out scrolls with little fortunes on them for our guests as they entered the dining room. Our guests loved it and it gave them an excuse to mingle and see what fortunes everyone else got. The Ten 31 statues was the most complimented thing we received about our wedding day! People are still talking about them and our wedding day was a few weeks ago! There is 100% NO buyer’s remorse on this splurge for our wedding day!
