Really cool look to the place. Enjoyed the live music. Food was good and a nice selection of drinks.I was hoping for a great experience because it seemed to have all the right ingredients to make that happen. However, my main complaint was that the service was a mixed bag.It wasnt that the service was slow or that they didnt get our orders correct. It was just bland and not very friendly. This took it down a big notch for me. I am all about service.Im not sure if it was an off night for this group, but they could have done much better. I will give them the benefit of the doubt......Overall Im sure it could be a winner, however not for me tonight....

Great atmosphere. My husband and I shared a mussels appetizer and The Cuban sandwich. The bread thry provided is amazing with great flavored butter. Will be back for dinner to try their great drink menu.

Foods alittle pricey, but delicious. All staff was friendly and courteous. The live entertainment was phenomenal especially Gissell Garcia. She was outstanding, mesmerizing, and beautiful. Id love to go back on Sunday nights when she plays again.

This place is hopping on a Friday night! Came in with friends around 8PM and the wait was not bad at all.. while waiting we grabbed a couple of drinks and watched the dancers on stage...there was also a conga line going on. We had a few appetizers and they were all delicious. The atmosphere was cheerful and loud in the main area with the stage, the room to the back was great if you wanted to have a conversation. I would come here again... the servers and bartender were super friendly. Wheelchair accessible. Right off main street.

Amazing atmosphere. Even by just looking at the decor on the inside, you can tell this place is authentic. I had amazing rice and beans, oxtail, and budin (bread pudding). Everything was delicious. It was expensive, but I think its well worth the price for a special occasion. We went for Fathers Day, and he loved it.

Our server was Freddie, he made our celebrating our apartment search 100x better. He has the most wonderful personality and made great food and drink recommendations! Our night was complete thanks to Freddie! Will110% cons back! Give him a raise! Great music great food!!

Please get the lunch special there!!!Its so good and beyond price conscious.A 2 course meal for under $11. I dare you to find another place like this in Long Island or any where else for that matter. Food was good, services not so good. Waitress would disappear for long periods of time. Had to ask for our waitress several times. They had to fix one plate at table, their dinner came back when the rest of us were all done eating, very poor service, no apologies even given . Music over the top loud We were left screaming at one another in order to talk. Also asked us to sit outside, Since they didn’t have a table for 6. Would be no problem if there was some light, it was dark and no lights on table. Don’t ask patrons to pay your prices to eat in the dark. Silly, really silly, get some lights on the tables.

Food was great. Staff friendly. Just need to turn the lights down a tad in the evening. See you soon!

Came here for the first time with my family for my brothers birthday and I wish I could give zero stars, but the only thing decent was the dessert .. Everyone’s food was brought out separately... on top of that everything was either over cooked or undercooked they forgot my daughters entire meal and as we continued to ask for it they finally brought it out BURNT .. the experience was just horrible and unlike any experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Will never be returning and most definitely not recommended!!

This place is awesome. We went on a Friday night and happened to get there at the perfect time so we got a seat near the stage. The food was great, the drinks were strong and the dancers were on point and very engaging. Its a cool place if you want to try something new, even if its only once in a while thing.

Food and drinks were good, service disappointing.Could not believe the amount of time it took to place an order. Went on a Wednesday around 7:25pm with my girlfriend, and went on the recommendation of a friend who really enjoyed his dinner here a week or so ago. Got sat quickly at a two top inside, in the middle of the dining room. Tables were pretty well spaced, but not 6 feet apart (this is not my issue, but an fyi for those who might be currently worried). Sat for about 5 minutes before a server passed and said she would be right with us. A couple minutes later, another server passed to ask if anyone had been by, and we said yes. Another ten minutes went by before our server came back to tell us about the specials and take our drink order. We said we were about ready to order. Drinks came quickly but were brought by another server. In this time we had already decided on our food, and our menus were on the table, but our server never stopped back. In fact she passed at least 15 times, three of which she said she woild be right with us, but continued to pass and attend to her other tables. By the time she returned it was around 8pm (we sat at 725/730) and asked if we were ready to order. Typically we go all in and will order apps, entrees, and desserts but at this point we were pretty sick of waiting and just ordered a couple of entrees. The food came out in less time than it took to place our drink order. Would probably try again, but could not believe how inattentive the service was. The waitress had bussers pouring water and clearing plates, a food runner running her food, and someone else making and running her drinks. Her section was not that big. As someone who manages in the service industry, I was really baffled at how long it took for her to get anything done.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating they aim to please. Food was decent not the best cuban restaurant but for long island not bad at all.

Great place, great atmosphere and excellent food. Staff is wonderful and very attentive. The night I went they had a live show and loved every minute of it. The wait staff is great. Food is to die for. Drinks are great. Overall experience was excellent.

Nice place, really big, colorful and fun. Very dedicated to the theme of Cuba from the staff attire to decor, whuch was real neat. Decent and unique brunch selection, the drinks were good, but very sweet, besides the bloody mary. Food was very good, I enjoyed trying something different. Bill was about $40 for 2 people, with unlimited drinks.

Very good food. Had the guacamole, it was made right in front of you. Fresh and delicious. Had the beer braised pork loin. It was very tasty. They also played cuban music and had dancing girls so it was entertaining. I Recommend it.

Love the Cuban. This is why we arrived on opening day! Manhattan people, so we accept any price for good/ great food.But please allow us to know the price of food and drinks. Do not just bring us a bill with merchandise total and request a tip....not fair for long island.Also i really could do without the loud birthday celebrations, tvs,and non spanish music...maybe keep all big parties in larger room...i would rather enjoy the company of the person im with and not have to shout!4 stars is all about the food and drinks! We were told it was a 1 hour to 1 hour + 15 minutes wait. We came back after 50 minutes and they said we missed our call. They then said 20 more minutes, we waited 30. Then we were told 15 more minutes. Another 30 minutes passed and they told us we were the next table. Then after another 15, they told us another 15 minutes. That’s a total of 2 hours of 15 minutes that we waited before giving up. Please just be honest about the estimates next time, thanks.

They just open, the food is Excellent, great staff. This place is good for family, friend event and more, they have great varieties of margarita and mojitos.

So I ordered by phone and picked up my Churrasco yesterday around 8 p.m. it was not what I expected. While the food itself was good, the quantity or portion was rather small and the food looked rushed. There werent many beans, two sweet plantains and everything slopped together in the container. I had to ask for chimichurri sauce. I have heard good things about them so far. I hope dining in will be a different experience from a take out order. Nice cuban decor inside. Went for lunch. It was empty on a monday. My order took a longtime. Then got it and it was wrong but I ate it because I was so hungry and frustrated. Not my waiters fault. He charged me what i order.

Love this food it is the best authentic Cuban food on the east end. A must go and you will come back for sure. Each bite brings you closure to the sandy shores of Cuba!

Edit 7/22/20.. Took a friend out for dinner tonight and definitely ASK FOR THE PRICE OF THEIR SPECIALS..we were quite surprised that their special for 2 was $150..That was quite high for Patchogue especially while were still in a pandemic! The plate had steak, 4 shrimp and 2 small rock lobster tails, rice and beans. Way overpriced! $300 for 3 people for dinner is outrageous. We had 3 drinks and 2 were $3/each. Our son had an appy for dinner.Tried this place for the first time yesterday for Fathers Day on the recommendation of a friend. We got take out and it was delicious! Even my picky eater teenage son loved the empanadas! The plato illegal was huge and perfectly done. The ensalata santa Clara with grilled shrimp was fantastic! I decided to get 2 margaritas to go while picking up our dinner. They did not disappoint! While my husband was waiting for me, he observed the wait staff cleaning each table and chair with disinfectant. It was nice to see that happen with the new outside dining in the this new normal. Cant wait to go back and actually eat there.

This place was quite the disappointment. Went Saturday night for a birthday celebration with some family and friends. Service was not what one would expect and the food is not worth the price. Several orders came out wrong, late and cold. The manager passed us by frequently, yet never stopped to inquire about the service or our experience. 100% will be going elsewhere from now on. Gallo has better quality authentic Hispanic food and their margaritas are NOT premade.

The place was nice, a bit loud the lighting could be better dont like when I have to use my cell to see the menu way to dim for my taste. Dont understand why the dinning room has television in them that was weird. Service could have been better, drinks were good. Had the short ribs tender but very sweet. I may try the place again.. have to see my mood

Great food, excellent service and just so around friendly atmosphere. Its right on the corner across the street from Brick House Brewery. Parking can be a bit of a hassle but if you dont mind parking a walking distance away, youll have no problems whatsoever.

The food was good. Food Service was mediocre. They forgot to serve the appetizers. Waiting time for a table more than 1 hour. They dont take reservations. Dance show was okay. I liked the background music and the guacamole service. I would only go back to this place for a drink and the guacamole service at the bar.

Nice place for lunch and dinner

Let me start off by saying. This is the first time in a very long time I give less then 5 stars at a restaurant. Me and my fiance came here to celebrate our engagement, so im going to be a little harsh. The ambiance was nice the decor was great and the music felt good. Now Im Hispanic and I know a few Cubans. To be honest Ive never had cuban food that was as spicy as this ever. Now for the review.The place is more of a hangout bar spot more than it is a restaurant. The seats are small the tables are smaller and the seating in my opinion is horrible. My table was rocking and I was able to smell what the person next to me was having. Theres maybe a 2 foot gap between you and the people next to you. I personally feel that the place needs a restaurant make over. The ac was on blast so my food got cold quick. They sat us under the blower Im assuming. I didnt even think about gettin up to go to the rest room because I knew I would be knocking over the persons table trying to get out of my seat. The food was spicy. Great presentation but horrible for the palate. I mean I wasnt expecting the spice. The drinks looked better than they tasted. I got the sangria and my fiance got a mojito which she did not like at all. My sangria had orange peel in it for a fruit like really.Im sorry but for all the hype I rather go to Cafe Havana. Atleast I know what my bill is going to look like for a reason. My bill came out to 100 and we felt like it was worth half that including tip. I will not be returning here ever again.This is more of come and enjoy spending money on the drinks type of spot. The only reason why its gettin 3 stars is cause I like the show and the live music they had after 9pm. Which is when we walked out. Go figure. Sorry The Cuban but I really expected alot more than what we got.

The food and drinks were amazing!!!!!!! I was on vacation dreaming about this restaurant can be closer to me. One of the best mojitos and guacamole I’ve ever had. It was packed but the service was very fast. The entire staff was friendly and inviting. My meal was amazing. I love this place. The ambiance felt magical.

Me and my girlfriend couldnt have been more frustrated with the service at the Cuban. Our food took forever to come out and when it came out it was cold. Then my girlfriend got sick after so yeah, go to the Cuban you will see exactly what I am talking about. Definitely go to Gallo 100× better.

Wasn’t a great experienceService was very slow food wasn’t good to say the least.But there was a server or female manager not sure what she was but she was Very nice and helpful and tried all she could do to make it a better experience. Hence the reason I gave 3 stars.The effort she showed to make things better was great, unfortunately the kitchen staff made the food not so good

There are three almost separate areas: a quiet dining room, the bar and a loud dining/dancing area. it gets crowded and loud on the bar area. I like the ambience, beautiful decoration, great DJ. The coconut mojito was too light, passion fruit was better. The gambas for appetizers were delicious.

Im very dissapointed with this place. I went there on July 3rd with a party of 4. Everything was okay until they brought the bread and it had mildew on it. It was the worst experience ever. It ruined our appetites. The manager came in apologized and offer that the drinks were on the house. When we received the bill we were charged for the drinks. Once my husband and I got home my husband felt really sick and vomited. I will not be returning to this place. Yes the atmosphere was great however the food terrible.

Good food entertainment was good but disappointed with the service...I wasnt able to enjoy my appetizer because the brought out the entrees too quick and the table was so small...they wanted to take the appetizer away and I dad no....the same as I was eatiny entree,..I want to enjoy the food in front of me and not be rushed

Absolutely loved it. So, I have been to the other restaurant in Garden City, and the one in Patchogue is just as great. Everyone was so helpful and making sure our table was clean, and that we were enjoying our meals. The waiters were very nice & funny as well, and the food was amazing. The music playing in the restaurant gives off a Manhattan vibe for sure. Would definitely recommend.
