I come here for the teen/ adult class on Tuesday and Thursday nights. The class organization is ideal where you pay per class so its ok to miss a class when life happens. The instructors are helpful and care about our safety. This class is set up like an open gym for all levels where people will be working on cartwheels and others are working on double fronts.Note, if you are visiting for the first time, bring cash since they do not accept credit cards unless you have a kid in a class at the gym.

The Vernon Lee Gymnastics Academy is a really nice gym in central pasadena. From the moment I stepped in I felt really welcome. All the trainers and staff are very friendly and they take the parents and the childrens needs very seriously. The teaching is very professional, since all trainers competed at high levels and are still able to show their students how to do it right ;-). Actually I was pretty impressed by how good some of the kids are even at very young ages.During the summer I was able to get a deeper insight to the summercamp they provide. It was very interesting to see how the teachers managed to fit every single childs needs. And next to the actual training they provide free playtime in the gym which is always fun for the children and interesting and fun field trips.Although I didnt knew much about gymnastics before I got in touch with the Vernon Lee Gym, they showed me that gymnastics in general is a very interesting sport that trains virtually every part of the body and that the Vernon Lee Gym adds just the needed friendly social environment for the children and older students to have a really good time in training and beyond.

Spacious and well equipped gym. Parking is limited.
