Very cool comedy venue with a main stage and a smaller room. About a 60/40 split on comedians that were good vs. not good at all, but it balanced out and was an overall good show. Waitresses were quick and accurate, which was great. Ample parking in two adjacent paid lots. Will definitely return in the future.
One of the best comedy clubs in America. The best comedians present and pass have been here and you never know whos gonna drop in. Very historical. Downtown vibe yet also a right in your backyard feel. Good brew and food selection in house and plenty of restaurants and bars in the surrounding area! Awesome place to begin or start your night.
Went here on a first date. Great people, great comics. These guys wing-manned me so hard it was great. Many thanks.
This is an iconic and fun place to spend your evening, whether in a small group, or a large corporate event! I booked out the large room for a Sunday evening work event and it exceeded my expectations. Dee coordinated everything perfectly and the staff dealt with all our needs efficiently and with a great attitude. Everyone in our 100+ party had a great time, with plenty of drinks served on time and good food which was attractively presented. Our group is young, with a tendency to be a bit rowdy, yet the staff maintained control and kept everyone happy. A big thanks to the Ice House for a great delivery!
Fun date night!!! Multiple comedians with different styles kept us engaged for the entire performance. Price is right for a fun times for date night, with group of friends or as couples. Check it out...
Had a really great time here! First time ever here at Ice House and loved the comedians! Enjoyed looking at the photos of famous comedians who performed here in its rich history. Drinks are decent, about $13 for wine or alcoholic beverages and sodas or bottled water is $4.50 and you have to buy two minimum. They promptly take your orders before the show. The seating is great, cozy, and theres some booths in the back. Will definitely come back.
The Ice House is my favorite comedy venue for many reasons. They offer a wide variety of shows, times and comedians. The headliners are ALWAYS great. They have a very good beer selection and their prices are better than most clubs. Surprisingly large food menu, no huge lines and easy neighborhood parking.I like how the comedians seem to always stay after their set to talk to the public and answer questions.Great date or great place to take friends and family.Sometimes tough to reach anyone via phone if you have questions.
Although packed in like a can of sardines, the Ice House provided us with a fantastic evening of comedians and laughs galore!Great waiters and waitresses. A perfect way to celebrate New Years Eve...
Weak expensive drinks with a two drink minimum that is only conveyed to you clearly once you are seated and the demanding staff hound you about it. And wow were the drinks bad
Always great shows. Fun environment. The staff is great too. Id recommend it to anyone.
Environment is very nice, chill. Went there for comedy juice. Decent experience, not all comedians were funny, some were just straight up there to fill time. Either way, 2drink minimum to order, comes out to around 35-40$ drinks alone for 2 people. I guess its something to go once (for comedy juice)
We were supporting the Grandview Foundation attending their fundraiser. The food was okay but never had a waitperson stop to ask if we wanted to order a drink. This may have been due to the fact that the fundraiser was for a rehabilitation center. The show was entertaining and enjoyable.
I love this comedy club, its small and intimate. You feel a connection with the comedians. Non stop laughs all around. At the end of the night the comedians will usually do a meet and greet which is always fun. Cant wait to come back.
Venue was good. Seating could have been a little better and they had staffing issues so we didnt get to order drinks until midway through the show.
Fantastic comedy club! Very intimate and makes for a great date night or night out with friends!! Tickets were less than a movie ticket and theres a 2 drink minimum!! Lots of laughter!!
My friends, Rich and Rocky and I went to see Robert L. Hines (aka Toby Jones) at the Ice House in Pasadena. It was a great show. All of the comedians were hilarious. The staff was good and the food...tasty. The only downside was the street parking. So get there in enough time to find a space.
Very good venue to see a comedy show. I was in a small room where all of the seats were very close to the stage. It was a remarkably intimate setting and the sound was good - so I could hear virtually everything that the performers said, even when there was raucous laughter and/or cheering from the audience. The two drink minimum was a reasonable request for the fee, though non-alcoholic beverages were quite pricey. Still I felt I got a really great value out of my experience there.
Great local place for some serious comedy. Has just as much history as the Laugh Factory or Comedy Store but not as pretentious. Park a few blocks away to not have to deal with crowd/traffic/metered parking.
So much history here. Very nice hidden venue. Cute lights at night. Clean, lots of red carpet opportunities for photos with the comedians, good food and drinks. Very fun and lively mix of performers. Funny, and a successful business!
We saw DL Hughley... Great Show! Had the dinner... Steak dinner was DELICIOUS!
The venue, atmosphere, and entertainment is always top notch. However, I have to mark them down on customer service as it applies to drink and food service. We got there early and decided to have a bite before the show. Though we saw many people wearing aprons, noone asked if we wanted to order. My husband had to go to the doorman and ask for assistance. This is unacceptable in my opinion. If you have food/drink service, your employees should be making sure customers are taken care of. The customer shouldnt have to ask for assistance.
I Love the Ice house I finally got to see Adam Corolla Live. Awesome show
I love coming here. Its a small stage, very intimate.
Great show last night! Jerry Garcia hilarious! Denny Cervantes funny young comic!!
Great place to go for the evening. Will sell out, if its a popular comedian, so book online
Over all it was great annie lederman was funny it was a really fun night out
The Ice House was opened in 1960. It is a fun place to enjoy comedy. Many great comedians have performed there over the years. We went to a fundraiser for ACS, which the Ice House donated the room and the comedians their talent. It was so much fun. Go Enjoy!
Very friendly staff. We went here for a comedy show. The performance room is nicely set up and the service was great.
We seen DL hughley February 29,2020 he was hilarious along with the opening comedians. We had a great time .
Tonight I paid at the door for 2 people cost $15. Once inside there is a 2 drink minimum, price for my drinks.. regular ice tea ( non alcoholic ) about $6.50, coffee with Baileys Irish cream about $9.50 x 2 each total cost for 2 plus tip about $55. Had a great time thanks to all the comics, one up and coming comic named Elliott Enriquez stood out because he kinda looked like Chris Farley with a beard and if tonight is an example of whats to come from this young comic...his future is a BRIGHT ONE. Special note, come early free parking can get hard to find the closer to show time you arrive. Enjoy !
It was my first time coming to the Pasadena Ice House and I had a great time. The atmosphere was good the entire night, all the comedians had their moments. The chicken tenders and fries were good. Would definitely go back for other events.
Great place to laugh and just have an easy going time. Good food, good drinks. Cant ask for more! Just come and kick it, jimeney cricket
Depending on whos headlining, prices are reasonable. Drink prices are no more than at most bars. Good place to see good comics. A lot of comedy legends have come through this place.
The food here is amazing every time. I love this place!!
The place itself is really nice, I am quite the fan of their whole setup. You can wait on the outside patio before your show starts and just hang out there. I am more rating the show that I saw, we saw comedy juice and the show had some reused jokes which I was disappointed for because its not something you want to hear. It wasnt even funny any more it was just, oh Ive heard that somewhere. Some jokes were funny Im not gonna lie but I left a little displeased by the comedians who were not funny or who made awkward jokes and made awkward jokes with the crowd. This is just my personal experience and theres different shows so mine just speaks for that one show.
The Ice House is a great venue to catch a fun comedy show. It is a very nice theater located inside the Pasadena . The comedians we saw were very funny and the waitstaff was very attentive and helpful. We had a great night and really enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely go back soon!
Had a hilarious time. All the comedians were funny!!! Nice surprise to have Alonzo Bodden as the headliner... very funny
Went to see Colin Kane for his stand up comedy set. He was hilarious as always. Made reservations to have dinner beforehand. It was Salad, salmon (with French fries) and a cheesecake. The chef argued to replace my dressing and came out because I wasn’t a fan on vinaigrette, and preferred something else, the salmon was not fully cooked so I didn’t finish it, and the cheesecake was horrible. Worse than store bought. Also they didn’t mention how much the dinner was on the phone and that I have to pay a fee to reserve a spot in case of a cancellation. Dinner for two people came out to be $85! I was stunned. Wouldn’t good back for the reserved dinner but would for the comedian.
It was interesting to see how this venue operated. They have timeslots so you must arrive on time. Its not like a club or bar that will delay the performance. It appeared there were two hour or so slots through out the night that were rented out and that is the stage timeTheres an outside bar that the Ice House personnel then send the audience/ticketholders to, there are various stages for rental. Its a tightly run operation..and I must say if you are on a schedule for evening events...a some busy people are, its great because then you can go on time with your other evening events
Great night out with family and friends. I took my grandson for his first comedy club experience. We had an awesome time. We opted for dinner before the show. The food was fantastic. Limited menu in the dining room, $$$ but was worth the experience. Food was also offered in the show area. Going again soon, I won 2 free passes on the spin of a wheel as we left.
Great little club! Theres no bad seat in the house!
Had an awesome experience here. We were there to see Alex Reymundo but the show was sold out. We seen Alex outside before he started his show and he was able to get us in. He actually didnt forget about us and he actually came and had a drink with us and they made room for us . Such a cool experience. So exciting!!
Great experience. Two special guests showed up and the other comedians held their own so funny
Even the slow nights are funny. There have been a couple times when I have gone where one or two of the comedians were a disappointment. But overall, its always a great evening whether youre entertaining guests or having a date night. The 2 drink minimum plus ticket is still a reasonable price considering the talent and experience.
Love supporting my friends stand-up shows. While it does get full, the staff are always on top of their game.
I loved, laughed, and built new and remembered the old with the true latino com
It was great. Laughed for hours. But expect to drop a min 40.00
Would have been five stars but the glass of coke my GFs drink being incorrect dropped it. Now I understand it gets busy and whatnot but there is a pattern time and again.
Seeing Ian Bagg at The Ice House tonight; cant get enough of him, hes brilliant, quick witted; beyond talented; guaranteed fun night!!!
Great show, cool seating area, sweet and efficient servers. Fun experience all around!
Great new and up coming comedians; Josh Jackson and also alias Linda spelled with a y. A wonderful side splitting night of laughter.
One of the best comedy clubs in existence!! You are sure laugh hardy and enjoy yourself!
Great laughs, small and intimate atmosphere! I felt like I was part of the act!
Love it good place lots to see wonderful staff
Had a great time.Went to see Willie Barcena and Raphael Molina. They were funny as hell. Good food and beer. The best comedy club around.
Opportunity to see big name comics work up material
Loved the comedy tonight. The food was awful. Salty street tacos and weirdest tasting Diet Coke I’ve ever had. Go eat elsewhere before the show and be able to enjoy the show on its own.
Not only was the comedy show amazing, the staff who work there are extremely friendly and makes the experience that much better. Small little hole-in-the-wall, but it is definitely worth the visit multiple times!
Great intimate atmosphere for a comedy show. Staff usually seems friendly. Food is decent bar style food, nothing special (as youd probably expect). The great lineups/acts are what makes this place.
My son, husband, and I went to see Kvon perform his stand-up comedy at this venue for the very first time, after initially seeing him do his routine in Simi Valley. The place has a unique ambience to it. Kvons act was phenomenal. The venue itself was interesting. Pictures on the walls with all the comedic greats who performed there at some point in their careers. I especially bought VIP tickets because I liked the special treatment of being close to the stage. I was a bit disappointed at first with where they seated us, considering we paid more for our seats. I voiced this concern to Dave, the manager and he kindly explained the situation of our seating arrangement. In addition, he made sure we left leaving satisfied and happy. So altogether, the whole experience left a good taste in our mouths. The show was great and the customer service we recieved from Dave was par excellence!
First timer, went to see Taylor Tomlinson. Absolutely loved her! I had not laughed so hard in a long time (too long). Several other comedians went first, and they were great! I often dont drink, but since there was a drink minimum, I must oblige ;) I had the irish coffee and was honestly surprised it was pretty strong. The cucumber spritzer was refreshing. Also tried the jalapeno drink, which was my fav, and I highly recommend. The venue was great, the waitress was friendly, and I hope to keep coming.
One of my favorite comedy clubs ... Ive been going to the Ice House 39 years very first show I went to Ellen DeGeneres was on the bill just starting out. The food and drinks have always been good but pricy. The best part is the atmosphere between the side room and the main room and the addition of the outside lounge area where comics come out and socialize and meet and greet and sell merch Ive seen many amazing Comics at this venue and the staff is most warm and welcoming.
Patio drinks are unlimited. Once inside there is a two drink minimum. I didnt order food, but it smelled good. Great experience! It had me laughing and smiling all night, thank you!
Fun place. 2 drink minimum gets old fast
Ive been here a couple times now to catch a comedy show and they were so funny. 2 drink minimum and the drinks are pretty good. There is also a bar area for you to eat/drink before the show. The comics are all really funny!
Enjoyed multiple stand up comics. Great evening.
We have been coming to Ice House since the early 90s. Not much has changed, but still one of our favorite comedy clubs. Drinks and food cost what you would expect to pay in a club. Intimate setting for performers. The seats are packed in with little personal space to the sides of you.
Intimate old school comedy club. Saw bunch comedians. Maz was great but Tehran stole the show.
Great place to get a laugh Kiki is a hoot
Fun night out. Very active scene. Not too shabby.
Very fun first time there. My wife was in tears she was laughing so hard. I only wish it was longer
Amazing as always!! I love coming here!!
Horrible waitress service!! They say 2 drink minimum but they should call it 2 drink maximum!
Very small venue but adds to the classic aesthetic and chill vibe great place for a few laughs and a nice date night theres a two drink min. Which isnt all that bad if there drinks werent on the pricier side of things all in all there cocktails were enjoyable where this place fell short was there food menu..not many options to choose from and upon receiving our food poorly prepared cold and not very tasty food obviously isnt there main draw here but a little more attention in kitchen would go along way at least for me
Its live comedy. There is a bar in the waiting area. This place is small, the farthest seat is about 20 years from stage. there isnt a bad seat in the place.
Great show had fun, very funny.
Great seats anywhere in the place, ask for a table,ISMO was outstanding!! Super funny! Great nite out
Alexis and the other comedians were Amazing!
Luv the place... The host I saw was Nancy Bellamy and shes nice and funny and hella HOT .... U go girl
Was there to see comedian Finesse a good friend of mine but all the comics there were good..enjoyed my evening
This is a great venue for intimate performance of comedians. Amazing seating chart and set up. However, the drinks were underwhelming
This comedy club was badass the. Comics were top notch the night I went. And a great place to relax
Uhhhh so i left my card w the bartender. I spent a week calling them back and everyone was clueless. Phones are never pucked up, staff at the booth are inexperienced, lack of managing, unorganized. COMEDIANS HOWEVER WERE GREATTT
