On Saturday, November 28, 2020, we celebrated my nephew 1st birthday party at the Chuck E. Cheese on 5 South Parksay in Belair MD. We had a problem getting their on time due to a family issues. Hannah our host was extremely nice and professional. She was very patient with us. She made sure that our guest that did arrive on time was comfortable. She listened as we explained why we wasnt able to start on time. Her and the supervisor that was on duty that night made sure the kids that was there was entertained. She checked to see what time we wanted the pizza to be served. I just wanted to shout her out. She smiled the whole time even though it got a little frustrating waiting. She really made things better. You dont meet too many people like her. Me and my family left with a smile on our face. Hannah was definitely a life saver.
Love this place and we are so happy they opened back up!! My kids love going! My only thing is, I wish they would lower their prices on the play cards.
Nice place for kids to hangout....the pizza is too thin
Besides all of the STINKY attitudes, this place is actually a ton of fun. I like it because unlike my neighborhood Chuck E. Cheese on Baltimore National Pike it is clean. All of the games work and a tech is quick to handle the situation that may arise. Its also bigger inside for $40 my 3 boys stayed here for approximately 2.5 hours. I always come back instead of going 4 miles yo my local one. One more thing theyre SUPER DUPER slow on the food service.
I think they need clean rest rooms and lower prices
Nice and clean when I visit plus staff was friendly. Also they walk around to keep stuff sanitized
Pretty cool staff works super hard
This the best location in the city and surrounding counties.
The staff was great, but the management could take lessons in customer service.Finding hair in the pizza was the first turn off. Why isnt your staff wearing hair nets? There were several games that were out of order and instead of turning them off so that kids wouldnt use them they left them on, which took their points. When I walked into the place I didnt have any children with me because I parked the car. However my husband got his hand stamped along with MY son (13), my stepdaughter (5), HER sister and brother (16&8). I came in behind a caucasian family and my hand was never stamped, however I was allowed to walk out of the facility with my five year old stepdaughter and not one time did anyone look at my hand or hers. That is a safety issue and they way people are abducting children they should have better training. Also I understand that it is a parents choice to send their children to the bathroom by themselves but I think the bathrooms need to be monitored better.
So I took my friends kid here while babysitting. We came when they first opened and honestly had a great time. Im giving a three star because 1) a bunch of games were broken. One game was actually broken in a good way (it gave us like 10 free plays). 2) unlike Chuck E. Cheeses in my day they dont have a jungle gym. I understand this place is smaller so they cant really accommodate one.. but Physical activity is important. I will say they do have some physically challenging games but not many. 3) a bunch of the games didnt give out tickets. I recommend they add tickets to the card in case of failure. All in all good time.
Always a good place for the kids
My children loved it & the other children loved it,they had fun! They had Pizza,Cake,Soda etc! They played games & took pictures 2gether & this is where a grown up can be a kid & a kid be a kid I wish I could remember the mans name who took care of us for my daughter Heavens birthday party but he was so amazing, sweet, caring, helpful & he treated my daughter very very good! He took care of all our needs & questions too! Thank you so much! My daughters birthday party was a blast! Thank u for bringing out the kid in me & my fiance we had fun too! My fiance was more of a kid then the kids I hope every1 enjoys there trip to Chuck E.Cheese like we did! The staff were amazing, the pizza was awesome & the games were so much fun!!! Were looking forward to going back to Chuck E Cheese! Where an adult can be a kid!!!
It was ok in there, everyone was social distancing...My one concern is because the cashiers and people that bring the food are really young, they are not as friendly or communicative well as older adults....I stood at the door for awhile because no one was at the entrance door and I also stood in line for awhile to get food because at times the cashier was gone...
Started doing a new thing where you can use points to play or you can have a time limit on a card. Best thing ever! Pizza amazing as always and the deliver now too . Customer service is amazing. An surprisingly they are able to keep they place clean even with the swarm of children running in every direction. Great place to take the whole family.
Granted, I went on a weekend. So it was very intense...But I was kinda disappointed. I havent been to one in years and I was so excited to take our little guy (2.5) there was barely anything for toddlers. And 2 of the few things were broken. None of the photos rides had ink/paper and no one ever replaced it when I asked. The food was delicious and the staff running the birthday party area were great! They were fast and on top of everything!I also had extra points left over on our card and I had asked three different staff members (two walking around, and one at the front door) what to do with the card. I wasnt sure if it expired or rolls over. No one had any idea. I feel like it was something pretty basic for an employee to know.Id return again. Just not until hes a little older. Id say the rides/games are best suited for someone 6+
This location needs to be updated dam near every game broke. I was so ignore going back in forward to the front to get your credit back .Chuck E. Cheese Is a rip off now it use to be a nice in reasonable easy on your wallet family day ! In it has ripped the kids really bad you spend all that money in your kids dont even get a lot of tickets no more so they get the cheap stuff after spending over $130 . Youre better off going to David in Busters . If I was able to talk to the owner or marketing of @Chuckecheese Chuck E. Cheese to bring new ideas in feedback to bring back the fun to family fun day out.
Very fun. Went on a Friday and 12:00 noon . Best time to go had the place pretty much to ourselves. Very nice service and welcome.
Not all games were working ..
I love that its empty before 1pm.
Very clean, good customer service I definitely recommend
Kids don’t know any better! Pizza was horrible. Cashier was no pleasant. Will not be returning. No Play room
Lots of fun. Good selection of games. Plenty of tables available. Salad bar was not worth $8.95. Drink area needed to be cleaned.
Who doesnt love Chucks. Especially when they are running the unlimited play deals. Kids burn energy and you get a good night sleep
Whether kids or adults, everyone loves going to Chuck E. Cheese. I have been taking my son only to the Parkville location since its the closest one to us. I play more games than he do when were there but we have loads of fun. We go at least twice a month.
Lots of kids and noise...but thats what its supposed to be. Pizza was good, but took a while to get to me. But at the end of the day...my child had a good time...and thats all that matters to me. If my childs want to go back...Ill go.
A lot of games didnt work, but staff was helpful in resolving... Many times over. Pizza was better than expected, if a bit pricey. Manager who eventually assisted us at prize counter was fantastic with the kids. Thank you, we will return, my daughter loves it.
Took our kids here and they liked it a lot. Some parts of the business are dirty, thus my 4 stars. Everything else was good though and my kids want to come back
Nice and clean
Some games do not function properly, and others are out of order. The game pricing is reasonable, but the food pricing is too high for the quality. This place needs some updating, but my 3 year old son still likes going there.
Went on a day when not so many people was there. Counter staff was great some machines where not working, and they announced Chucky was coming out but he didnt. Bummer
The young lady working at kid check in didn’t greet us at all, she actually didn’t say one word to us. She just reached out to grab our hands for the stamp. No smile, no directions. Weird and rude.We were waiting at the register to purchase our play pass and food but a lady who walked up and was loud with the employees got help first. So if you need help here just get loud and they’ll serve you before anyone else. When we finally did get help, the manger was very nice but that changed toward the end of the night when I asked for help with the ticket machine and she assured me twice that she was coming to help and never showed up. I had to go seek another employee.I don’t appreciate the appearance of some of the employees. Sloppy, stained clothes, hair not covered for the ones working with fod, pants hanging off the butt. Although they were really friendly they don’t look presentable. The 2 stars are because my kids had fun, they don’t notice the things adults do and the pizza was good.
My little girl loves it food is always good staff is always pleasant..The bathrooms are always clean..I would give 5 stars but it is chuck e cheese..kids would like to see chuck..he comes out for no more then 2 minutes to throw a few tickets..the only time we ever see him in the two hours we are there.. he should be out once an hour every hour for the $ we are paying..
The kidos had lots of fun playing games. The pizza was really good.
Only 1 ladies bathroom stall had toilet paper and the others had none plus they were trashed BUT customer service was great!
Supprizingly good pizza and salads. The games are fun too.
My kids love this place! I enjoyed myself as well. The pizza n wings are excellent. The staff is friendly and professional. The restrooms are clean and well stocked. Overall, this place is great!!
The customer service was bad and I got my food way before the kids did and had to feed them mines 2 hours after theres came they all was tired and sleepy We spent 100 in thereand was only refunded 20 for this to be the last one left for the kids these guys have to do better
Not bad did not like they turned off games with out letting someone know they was about to close
Had granddaughters birthday party there, and let me say what a rip off. Food was okay. But the girls running the party are very sad. Not overly helpful and not real organized, but good at rushing you out and cleaning off your table. You pay ALOT of money and dont even get a cake with your childs name on it. You get a generic cake, what is that all about ? Plus it was a saturday, so it was busy, however. They only had 1 PERSON AT THE REGISTER, 1 PERSON ON THE TICKET RETURN COUNTER FOR PRIZES. AND they DEFINITELY need to train there personal to smile, and be a bit more enthusiastic. Everyone of them looked miserable ! Its very expensive to take a child there. So I at least like to see a smiling face and not be made to feel like Im a bother to the employees.
Prices a little too high for families with more than one child, for the quality. No register receipts given, Broken paper roll machine....all you can eat salad bar nit monitored for replenishing, token cards on a timer ...it has really changed. Clean and working games made it fun for the kids though. Try to find the balance so more parents can afford it.
Great place to take your kids for some fun
The staff was wonderful they made my day with my little brothers awesome. They helped us pick the best deal for our group and the pizza was yummy
We recently visited for my daughters 4th birthday. The food was very meh, but the kids had fun with the games, which is the whole point. I know the crowds vary in size, but we went on Saturday around 5 and it was manageable.
My family and I had a great time . Thanks to they wonderful Management and staff very excellent. Pizza was delicious.
Love the fact that you can buy time now.. still dont like the dollar store toys they give the kids for all those tickets.. my son had a great time 90 mins unlimited games he was ready to leave when his time ran out.. Great job for coming up with that one..
Great fun for kids of all ages
It was my first time here I had so much fun with my wife and my stepdaughters I will definitely come back
Great atmosphere! Friendly and attentive staff that worked the party area. Enjoyed celebrating my granddaughters 2nd birthday!
Won 1105 tickets in a matter of less than a hour. Kids head was on a swivel with all the fun things to do. Staff was curtious and kind.
Food was COLD and under cooked. Our fries werent fully cooked, the pretzel bites came out ICE COLD like they were sitting in a refrigerator, without the cheese dip. When the guy brought us the dip 5 minutes later, it was also ice cold! We wont eat anything here again.
Nice place to go. Very kid friendly. However I normally just go there to eat and I absolutely love the food it is delicious but I only go about once every 2 months because I feel it is very expensive
About 30% of the games/rides are broken. Its packed with kids who arent being supervised. The pizza is good though and the staff works hard to provide tables and decent customer service. I will go again.
Cleanest and best service of a Chuck Es Ive been too. My kid loved every second!
Love this place. I had 4 birthday parties there with my grand children. Good food and music.
Attended B-day celebration recently for my nephew. Must say this visit was enjoyable for him and our family. Much better than earlier visits during which it was almost impossible to get the assistance of an employee, much less anyone with even a pleasant attitude. Employee, Sara, provided excellent service. We will be back : )
The staff was very helpful and friendly. They didnt have onions not on the salad bar or the pizza. Besides that me and my grandson had a great time
Fun place for kids, with games, food, and prizes. $11 dollars gets a half hour of unlimited games.
This place is fun to go to with kids, but too small for the crowds that they command. It got loud and crowded very fast. I believe they would do well with a larger space and a stage like the one in Ownings Mills area.
This location has the most entertainment for younger children (Kindergarten) in comparison to the other locations Ive visited. I prefer the set up as well, the design allows for a great view of the entire play area from the center tables and chairs.
Food was overpriced and anymore all chuckee cheese is is an arcade no play place or nothing was a lil bit let down at the price.
Terrible, terrible, terrible. Went today and the place was a mess- garbage all over the floor and tables. Probably 1/2 the games were broken. Games scanned our cards but didnt let us play. Ticket counter ate a bunch of our tickets. No one to help us, completely understaffed. Do not recommend.
Service was terrible. It was definitely a circus tonight. Get there tonight and kitchen is closed. Over booked and under staff. People was lined up to get refunds someone stated that they have been there since 5:30 waiting for pizza and everytime she asked was her order ready different people would come out in say 5 min then ten min or whenever it’s ready they’re have too many orders. crazy the staff, cooks and management can’t communicate. This is unacceptable. First and last visit lord knows I won’t be back there never even if it was free all you can play. Wish o could give it zero stars. 1/2 of the games were broken big kids on the merry go round couldn’t even let the babies play. Walked in and walked tf out.
So much fun the staff were beyond friendly and my kids had a ball
I love chucke cheese in Parkville. Its huge and it has a nice variety of games for the kids. The staff is clean and friendly. Thanks so much!
My grandchildren enjoyed themselves it took a while to get a table. The food was good and they made new friends overall a good night
to my kids there all the time and they have awesome time too
I celebrated my daughters birthday and we all had a great time! The staff was really helpfull all the time we needed them and really friendly.
Had my Grandson Birthday today everything was great
Kids had a ball not crowded all the games worked
Great!!!! Kids had fun, Thats all that matters. Oh yeah pizza was good also.
Great place for kids.Would like for them to get a new mascot. The rat is scary for kids.
Plenty of fun for the kids although a few of the rides were out of service and some werent dispensing tickets as they should have
Horrible. Dirty bathroom. Games broke. Hasnt been the same since they 1st opened. They need to clean tables with clean rags, smelled like mildew. Please fix it
Redone and great! Love the new way to break it down.
Had a fun time but it was a bit dirty.
To long a wait. And if going to book partys on Saturday close it off too the public for a time period. Because its unfair for a fun day with the kids turn into been upset is just not fair. But love the food when get in there
Bathroom was super clean! Pizza was delicious and order arrived to my table fairly quickly.
Nice place for kids. my son was lighted up as soon as he entered. I had to run behind him to every toy to play with.
Have fun with my kids everytime but they need to extend them and put more tables and chairs in their all locations
I had not been to a Chuck E. Cheese for years until I went today for my neices birthday. It has changed sooo much and I am not sure if it was for the better. No animatronics, Chuck E. comes out only for a few minutes, and the games are a bit different than they used to be. The food was comparable to cafeteria food which makes me wonder why they charge the prices for it that they do. The staff seemed friendly but the bathrooms were not very clean. The kids did seem to have fun though which is why I have given three stars. Aside from that I do no think I will be returning to Chuck E. Cheese with my daughter.
Please clean your seats. I got hand, foot, and mouth disease from sitting on the seats. DISGUSTING. And I have medical records from me going to the hospital because of this. Plus, it was on spring break too. I don’t recommend going here.
Super friendly staff! just kind of absent, and very limited machine mantinence. Definitely one of the cleaner locations
Kids loved the experience once again!
The best chuck E Cheese in Maryland to me just need to add the Maze and the pit with the balls but thats every store they need to bring that back for people with little to no money that got a kid
My Granddaughter had fun, but we never saw Chuckie. I didnt see him march around the whole store. Maybe they dont do that anymore. This is why I really miss the band.
A great place to spend time out with the kids
Friendly staff, very clean, my son always has a great time here
This was my 1st time here n we were there for my grandson 3rd b-day n he n his siblings had a ball there, they ran as soon as they got thru the door, lol there were about 5 different parties all at once but er1 seem to enjoyd themselves especially the kidz, my only hang up about Chucky Cheese is the prizes n how many tickets the kidz need to get good 1s, the kidz needs at least 3000 tickets to get a alright prize, they need to change the ticket amount n the prizes either tho the kidz r just happy to win tickets n get to pick a prize, they dont know the real n the pizza is salty n this is just my opinion
Nice place, but there needs to be at least one employee working the floor for when the games are out of tickets or not working properly. Its kinda annoying having to get someone from the kitchen to help at the games.
Great place. I love this location then the one near me. My daughter is 2 years old and this location had a lot more for her to do. This place section off one side for the big Kids and the other side for the little kids.
Couldnt wait to GET OUT OF THERE! I guess the kids liked it, but not for this adult. Parents let their bad kids roam free with no supervision, as young as toddlers trying to use bathroom alone, children climbing up on soda fountain, kids stealing tickets from other kids, parents just sitting around like Chuck e Cheese is a babysitter! Had to go to management twice for dangerous situations involving children. They couldnt locate parents, and had no system in place. One child pull-up was so heavy with urine and feces, her pants were falling down and smelled so bad. I was so angry I cut our time there short and we just took the kids elsewhere! I could go on and on and on! SMH! This Parkville location should not reflect all locations.
Let your kid be free for a hour. Safe, secure
Half the games were out of service. Out of the half that did work half of those would scan and take your points but would not allow you to play the game. The ticket counting machines were broke, they have 6 and only 2 worked. The few games that did work would not dispense tickets because the staff refused to re-stock the machines. Apparently if you get up from your table for more than 30 seconds all your stuff gets thrown away including baby bottles and full slices of pizza.
My daughter had her birthday party at Chuck E Cheeses they got a great package deals cake balloons unlimited play time for 2 hours for a decent price got to love it not too many places out there to do this go to Chuck-E-Cheeses check it out yourself
