A quaint, small park nestled among giant cottonwoods alongside main street, Parker, CO. Along with a beautify landscaped gazebo, the trees provide shade and comfort. At the far west end theres a playground and basketball courts. A pleasant place to snack and watch the comings and goings of fellow travelers!
Great little place to go enjoy the holiday lights, play a little b-ball or hang out while the kids investigate the cool playground equipment. Then go to any one of a dozen or so restaurants within easy walking distance...Or maybe the other way around; take your dessert ice cream or coffee to the park...
There was plenty of tables to have lunch. Sunny and shade spots. Good visibility for both play areas. For the most part the park was clean. One of the slides is closed for repair but it was blocked off safely. No bathrooms.
I love this park so much! It always makes me so happy to live in Parker. One of the slides is currently closed because it is cracked. I’m grateful that the parks department cares enough to close it so kids won’t get hurt.
I used to love this park but it definitely has lost its family vibe. The teenagers there are smoking more than just cigarettes and it baffles me that none of the other parents said anything. I didnt say anything myself because I wanted to focus on having a good time with my family. I will have to find a new park
This is a sweet little community park right in downtown Parker. We sat and ate a picnic dinner while listening to the live entertainment at a nearby restaurant. Our granddaughter spent some relaxing time in the baby swing trying to get the attention of two older girls who were too busy playing to notice. Nearby, a group of people gathered around one of the parks monuments. It was a beautiful evening in a beautiful place
Love this park! The park itself has multiple playgrounds, full sized baseball field and basketball court, large grassy areas, lots of covered and uncovered benches and picnic tables, and even waterpark that costs less than $10 per person. If within a short walking distance. If none of that gets your attention, theres no shortage of restaurants, bars and shops alleres even a tunneld under Parker Road for an easy and safe way to eves that shopping cebter. My ONLY complaints are about the parents who let their bigger kids run and play on the playground designated for toddlers. This is just safety common sense. Also the park is relatively clean but the ggrass and surrounding areas always have trash that needs to get picked up. We like to avoid the crowds and sit in the grass next to the basketball court and my 18 month old always finds some trash she doesnt need to be touching. I would love to be able to give Obrien park 5 stars here in the near future.
Decent park/playground. Nothing too special. There are several average slides, a nice sitting area with picnic tables, and an outside basketball court that is in good condition. Parker road is rather loud from this park.
Very beautiful park. Nicely decorated in winter season
Its a beautiful little park with a fun playground, a good little field with trees (shade), and a basketball court. Its a good place to have a picnic and let the kids run out their energy.
Loved taking a walk here! So peaceful and quiet
Love Obriens Park ...Always Clean ...well kept up .. lots of places to find shade and sit and have lunch...Great meeting place!
I come here to play Pokemon GO all the time to get out of the house and hang out with friends. Its always a cozy area with plenty of friendly faces.
I love coming to this park is just so big and spread out. Theres lots going on in the area on Sundays I can hear a live band across the street. Its just wonderful.
Nice family park close to lots of little shops and ice cream
Its a nice spot to just hangout
I love this park, I try to go every Tuesday n Wednesday. A lot of the people in the area are really nice!
Always beautiful when it is lit up for the holidays.
Really fun park! Great place to bring kids. There is a lot of trees that provide a lot of shade which is great for having a picnic.
Beautiful, peaceful, softballs game, nice field, well maintained, first time playing here. Main street fun shops, and dinning right across the street
Kids had a blast. Nice park.
This park is nice they have a lot of things to do here
Its nice to get back out to the parks. Theres a very friendly squirrel looking for food. The park is nice and clean.
Just a park... like any other. Relatively easy close parking, and bar/restaurants nearby.
Nice Old Fashion Set Up. I Go Walking and pass threw the park and bridge and its always nice. The trails are endless and theres good food and several interesting small businesses to visit. love the lights always up at night threw the area.
Beautiful park on a windy summer day. Perfect playground for the kids to run a few hours of energy off.
I fell in love here, we walked around it for hours just talking will never forget that night
Visiting from Ohio and had a great time. Will be back next year
Brien did a good job here.
Its a great place to hang out with freinds
Great outdoor park near Downtown Parker: lots of varying options for the whole family!!!
Its a fun place to hangout with friends and family. Nice grassy area and basketball court. Also there is a pool across the street that cost only a few dollars to enter.
Very nice park, benches, shade, large gazebo and tables with umbrellas.
A very nice and quiet park, many children and different areas.
Great place for family to hang out
This park is great for swimming, a nice nature walk, or even a quick pick-up game of basketball! I love this place and will always come back! 5/5 stars!
The parking lot and surrounding grass area is filthy. Trash everywhere. Its very sad. We witnessed a fight in these parking lot
Best park for my toddler!
Extremely cozy place for a family stroll!
Crowded and trashy. Not what it once was
Nice little park with a gazebo and small water park with a pool and a ball field. Typically hosts a large fair around the first week in June each year (Parker Days) which is a lot of fun! The park itself is located close to pretty much everything you might want to walk to. Main street shops, fast food, thrift stores, bars, ice cream, really everything. You could spend a few hours in/around the park walking around for sure. Great spot!
Always love coming to this cute little park with my son. At a year and a half he even finds enjoyment out of the hills, birds and playsets. Good place to take the doggo or have a fun afternoon with the kids!
This is the best water park that I have been to yet. It was a lot of fun for the kids, my wife and I. The water was warm, the smaller kids area was pretty big with lots of different options for them to do as well as the older people area, and there are two slides to go down... We all had a lot of fun and will be visiting again soon..
The Baskin Robbins ice cream was great.Even more so because Carole Baskin is not involved with them.
Very lovely park in downtown Parker area open festive. Plenty of places to sit including benches tables chairs also the grass theres a kids play park a softball park and a pool nearby. Plenty of parking within walking distance of many food venues and bars. Tons of trees and shade. Also its very clean hardly any trash.
Beautiful pool! Friendly lifeguards
Fun park to spend sometime in. They have a fun playground for kids, lots of tables and chairs, both in and out of the shade. We have gone to the pool once and our children had a great time. The slides are surprisingly fun for a small park.
Always pretty and well maintained
Love this park and pool, play area for the kids is amazing . Shops and Hot Dinner spots across the street fun place !
What a beautiful and heartwarming experience! My son took me there which made it more special and it was just like a Hallmark movie
Very pretty and pleasing environment
Cool place to eat ice cream
Lots of fun structures for the children to play. Very creative. Nice wood chips for resilient surface. The swings are just the right size.
Nice park clean and quiet
Great outdoor playground right in Parker downtown! Its big, smaller kiddos and bigger kids kind of seperated. Plenty of parking. No restroom. Benches for parents to sit.
Its a nice area but it would be better if they filled the low areas in the grass and keep it cleaner
Lots of toys for kids to play on and super fun. Well worth it
I was not at the park.... I was across the street picking up dinner to go. As I looked over at OBrien Park, I was amazed and sad to see so many people jammed together....no masks, no social distancing that I could see. I just dont understand their thinking...
Beautiful weather today, kids played for a long time...they will sleep well tonight!
Great park for adults and youth. Lots to do, and great events.
Great vibe here
Great park to hangout and rest. There is also a skate park. The tree lighting ceremony is the best part of this park.
Awesome park for all ages! My daughter was all about it and the obstacles made her stretch her comfort zone.
Great place to bring kids with lots of energy! Plenty of free parking, plenty of places to sit and watch your kids play. You could even bring food to have a picnic on the picnic tables.
This is a perfect pace for families with young kids to spend their evenings. The play equipment is varied, good quality and very well maintained. The park has ample parking and is surrounded by trees and grass to laze on a summer day. Its right in downtown parker close to restaurants and entertainment. Theres an affordable water park with decent rides open during summer months. Theres enough benches and ramadas for a picnic or pizza dinner. This is a perfect public park!
Its a fun park and wears the kids out for map time... my girls cant get enough and its beautiful all year round!
Lovely downtown park. Kid and animal friendly and adjacent to the nearby H2OBrien Water Park. Forms the heart of the downtown Parker scene.
Wonderful service exceptional scenery!
Limited but nice
It make me wish if I have got home in its residence area.
Daughters favorite park. Lots of frenz always running around. Catch a baseball/softball game, play on the 2 playgrounds or take a sandwich and have a picnic. Clean/newer playground.
There is a lot of fun stuff here but its pretty run down and its very crowded
Fun place for little kids, feels safe with many lifeguards and it has a pretty large area with shallow pools and cool slides. Price is very reasonable too
What a lovely surprise
Great park. They seem over protective on the softball field. Any rain earlier in the day and all games get cancelled for field conditions. The park is awesome, but this makes having a kid in the softball league can be tough scheduling wise.
Nice park beautiful trees/shade. Awesome place to let the kids run around burn of excess energy.
Seeing all the trees lit and the ice sculptures give it that home town feel.
Nice clean area with mature trees. Several food and shopping options, but understandably a bit pricier than other locations. Parker has several events annually, and a farmers market on the weekends.
I was there for the Farmers Market and I thought it was really cute. Small, clean, with friendly people.
Very friendly people either enjoying the sun and scenery or taking their kids to the play ground!
Great park to bring your friends and family to. Many opportunities to run around and play with many different shops and restaurants within walking distance to. Definitely a great place for everyone of all ages.
