My 13u son has had the opportunity to play in a couple of other youth baseball organizations in the area before joining Lightning Baseball this season. From my experience, we couldnt ask for a better program for my son to be part of to further his baseball development. I have never seen a program that has such a high coach to player ratio before and a group of coaches that has so much knowledge of how to play the game properly.I also have an 18 y.o. son who has participated in the Lightning Baseball Fall High School academies in the past. He had a great experience and learned more about baseball in his time there than he ever had before. The high number of coaches to players was incredible and all of the coaches had experience playing college baseball or higher.

I came to know Lightning Baseball in 2018. I met Dave Tucker and immediately got a sense of the quality of the program. I hired two coaches from Lightning to assist with the development of a team I was coaching. That team went on to win their age group state championship. We have since become one of the first youth clubs in their program. The focus on skills development is unmatched. The quality of the coaching staff is tremendous. It is such a pleasure to send our players updates about the professional playing experience of their coaching staff. This is not a program for every player...it is a program for players that are willing to put in the work to become better ballplayers and compete in every facet of the game. There are a lot of programs to choose from for your son to play baseball. I am grateful to have been introduced to Lightning Baseball because the coaching staff is top notch. As I watch them work with the boys, I find them to be great examples by word and deed. The coaches are attentive and having fun with the boys while teaching them to have respect for themselves, the coaches, their teammates, their parents, and the facilities the boys use. This program not only teaches the skills of the game but helps the boys develop in character. Dave Tucker and his team are quick to reply and handle any circumstances that arise.

This is the best baseball program Colorado has to offer. The coaches and staff care about every single young man in the program and it is a family mentality. They develop the kids not only to become better ball players, but to be better in life. Improvement in every aspect can easily be seen after one camp and most off all they make all the drills fun.

The Lightning coaches have been a tremendous help to my boys. After playing only one summer season after graduating from HS, they helped my son get prepared for and find a school to play for. My other two boys are in the program and I wholeheartedly recommend them to every ball player. The time and commitment they provide is exceptional as well with the quality of coaches and coaching. Highly recommended!

We drive a long ways for our son to play baseball with the Lightning Baseball program. It is worth every oil change and all the miles on the tires. This is a program that teaches baseball at the highest level while not buying into the mentality that winning is the only measurement of success. Our son is learning respect for the game, his teammates and coaches. He has dedicated himself to the hard work it takes to achieve goals on the field and in the classroom. We could not ask for better partners in helping us develop a successful young man. Lightning Baseball is as good as it gets.

Lightning Baseball provides the highest quality training program. The coaches are amazing and support the growth of each player individually. Not only do they focus on the specific skills of baseball, but they also work with the mental development and attitude needed to be successful as a team. This academy sucks, teams are terrible, and you have to practice in a garage that is always crowded. Thank god my new team actually can afford an actual facility. And we can afford 4 hours worth of work and don’t have to be rushed for the next team.

We joined Lightning Baseball last October and the organization has easily exceeded all of our expectations. Best coaching staff weve found in Colorado. Great track record of developing players for the college game & most important -- outstanding role models. The 3-hour workouts every Sunday over the winter accelerated our sons development across all areas (strength, fitness, agility, hitting, fielding, & pitching). Extremely well led. Lightning Baseball is the high quality training program that has taken our athlete up a level in skill and ability each season. The staff of coaches are top caliber in experience, character and leadership. Each training and playing format we have participated in has delivered excellent value.

The Lightning baseball program has been integral in developing my son as a baseball player and a person. Coaching is motivational yet honest. The staff provides elite baseball coaching while supporting each player to be the best individual and team player they can be. Boys are taught character; they are expected to be hardworking and respectful and are shown this through the example of the coaching staff.

In my experience, the Lightning Baseball is the best program in the Metro Area. We have tried a few other programs and they cannot match the skill development and player personal growth that Lightning provides. The Fall Academy is the best player skill development program by far with exceptional coach to player ratio.

Lightning baseball is what youth/teen sports should be all about. Positivity, teaching life lessons, understanding that not every player can/should be coached the same way, teaching high level baseball content, and honestly caring about the betterment of their players, both on and off the field. I highly recommend their camps and their fall training is second to none. My sons ability has grown exponentially over the past two years. The staff of coaches work to learn new techniques, run efficient and high energy practices, and represent themselves in a positive manner at all times.

If you want to improve your skills, this club will help! It is not just playing games. It teaches you how to do things correctly, an educated staff and always available to help you. They have various camps, programs and private lessons to help you refine and grow your love for baseball.

Dave Tucker & the Lightning program is amazing. The program teaches young men more than baseball, teaches how to succed in life.
