Collins Theatre

Took my grandson to see The Nightmare Before Christmas. We loved it! They were spectacular! We also loved the beauty and nostalgic feel to the theater. Its really cool knowing how long the theater has been around and all the different people who has performed there!

Top notch Vegas, Branson entertainment

Absolutely a must see in Paragould! We attend everything we can and have never been disappointed. The Ultimate Oldies and Rocking the Night Away are two of our favorites, but the plays and other concerts are fantastic too.

This place is really pretty, I attended when The Elf was being performed. It was crowded for a good reason. The cast was really entertaining and funny, and the overall environment was lovely. I was in awe most of the musical.

Always a good place for entertainment. Plays great. Ss good as professional entertainment. We have great bluegrass music monthly. In December we have Narvel Felts. Usually his last stop before holidays. The band is great that opens for him.

Beautiful old building, the show I went to was well done and had a lot of care and heart in the performance. You can tell theyve taken care of the place, everyone from the concessions to the actors were so friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back.

Love this place! Everything! From all the different productions and shows to the historical aspect of it! Great location, great atmosphere, one of the best places to go in Paragould. The only thing missing now, is having Mr. Rick welcome you in.

Great clean entertainment for family or senior folks. Most young people are not for bluegrass or country music. Beautiful refurbished theater. A variety of entertainers throughout the year. I have never been disappointed.

An excellent portrayal of a musical journey through the life and career of Patsy Cline. The show was one of the best Ive seen. The musicians, the actors, the staging were all great and Vicky Bishop was superb as Patsy.BRAVO Everyone envolved.

Old fashioned theater, with our generation of movies and TV, it’s refreshing to watch actual people!

Wonderful refurbished theater with great acoustics. The employees are all so cordial and welcoming. It is obviously well supported by people local and surrounding towns.

Located in downtown paragould it has so much historical information and they clam its even haunted. Just a beautiful place and looks like it did when they opened it.

The Collins is a wonderful place to experience the culture and talent of our community. The building itself is a historical landmark beautifully decorated with crown molding throughout. The shows are very reasonably priced and are almost always local talent. Concessions are also cheap, so a night out at the Collins with family is very economical. Plus, attending an event at the Collins supports our local culture and aspiring actors and actresses.

The only reason I rated 4 instead of 5 is the lack of plays that interest me enough to see them. Sweeney Todd was absolutely wonderful when I saw it.

Wonderful place to go listen to some of the best Bluegrass bands youll ever hear! The people there make you feel right at home! I recommend you make a point to go see for yourself! I love it!

The Collins puts on plays, musicals, and has musical guests. Its an older building that has been around since 1925, but they put on good shows for the small town they are in. Dont expect much from the concession stand as this isnt your typical theater. Parking is all around, mostly street though.

A classical old theatre. It has a lot of its old glamour but it definitely shows its age. I am glad they have chosen to keep it open.

Tonight I will be going to volunteer at the Historic Collins Theatre! I have been going to this theatre for the past 50 years. As a child I would be dropped off (what a safe place Paragould was then) and my mom would give me $1.00 This would buy my ticket, a soda, and a box of popcorn. I would get to watch cartoons on Saturday morning and then watch the Disney movie of the week. Thru the years, I would learn to love this theatre again and again. Just to know that this theater was on the Orpheum Circuit and great star such as Will Rogers played on the very stage that I too have privileged to perform in years gone by. This is the same story for so many people here in the Greene Co. area. Thank you to everyone that has kept the dream alive!.
