I went to the Sundays in Paradise with the fiance and my stepdaughter out on the patio. Great music beautiful views and the food was delicious. We got to see Doc Jones, Jesse McGuire and the Jazz Ensemble featuring Nayo Jones. It was very obvious they take safety during those covered crisis very seriously. I hope they continue these events more often

This place is the epitome of peace and relaxation!! Never disappointed when visiting this disney land. I know the staff here deals with a lot, yet they are incredibly professional and kind each and every time! The entire place is very accommodating, dont be afraid to ask. The restaurant gives me fever dreams. Be sure to order some food while there even if its just the HH burger! The bar can also whip up pretty much anything you can think of. Facilities are well maintained allowing you to really just melt away here in the desert. A must experience especially if you live here!

The staff is always friendly and professional. In addition, everything is clean; the drinks, shampoo, and other items are well-stocked. The facials and massages are top-notch, and you certainly cant beat their pool and grounds. They also have a hot tub, steam room, quiet room, and showers, so you can literally stay all day.

The service and staff at this hotel were great. The location tucked into Camelback mountain was beautiful as well. The food was good, but the menus were limited. The spa was beautiful as well. The two drawbacks of the property were the condition of the pool and chairs provided were mediocre, and the rooms need updating.

I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS PLACE! I spent a solo birthday trip here for a couple days and was treated like a princess. The resort surprised me with so many birthday sweets and the staff was absolutely amazing. The view was so beautiful it looked photoshopped. My massage was amazing. The pool and staff was perfect. The restaurant was so nice. And on top of that I felt very safe (even though I was a young female traveler) Everything was perfect. I barely lifted a finger. Everyone was sweet, down to earth, and so helpful. I could not have asked for a more perfect place to stay. I would recommend to everyone.

Sent my wife and her sister to the resort for her 50th birthday- they absolutely loved it!! The accommodations, food and service was spectacular. The staff and the concierge made everything so easy and perfect for them, following up on all the requests and planning I had made for them. I highly recommend the resort, and look forward to a follow up visit at some time with my wife to experience such a top notch resort! Thank you for making her trip so memorable.

We decided to stay in Phoenix with a friend for our annual vacation. Thanks to some time off, we were able to spend the entire day in the spa. From gorgeous facilities, thoughtful and attentive staff and elegant decor we were stunned. My fiancee and best friend were treated so well by a very friendly staff. We enjoyed massages & facials along with breakfast poolside from the restaurant. The hot tub(s) were all great, pool warm and steam showers, bathrooms, pristine. To say we had a wonderful day would be an understatement. John is an excellent masseuse, I highly recommend him. We will be back next year for sure!

Visited the spa for massage. The experience was delightfully relaxing from start to finish. Maria, the ladies lounge area attendant was incredibly sweet, attentive and helpful, anticipating every need. Jamie was my massage therapist. She listened to my specific needs and executed above and beyond my expectations, Id even go so far to say that it was the best massage Ive ever received in a spa. I do wish I had received more information about the amenities prior to my visit so I could have taken better advantage during my time there, but I also didnt put work into seeking the info before hand. The experience was given to me as a gift, and the giver even made the reservation. Under ordinary circumstances I would have naturally knew more just from the booking process. Beautiful setting nestled against Camelback Mountain. I do plan on a return visit in the near future to take advantage of the great summer specials.

Listen, I’m not sure how anyone could ever write a bad review about this place. This is hands down the best resort I had ever stayed at. My husband and I went for our one year anniversary and all the employees went above and beyond with every encounter. We got in early Friday of Labor Day weekend, and they let us check in before noon!!! (King mountain casita) We stayed through to Monday night and they even sent a text suggesting we hang around if we need to, not rushing us off the property at all. It was over the top incredible service. Beautiful views of camelback mountain. Gorgeous pool, and amazing poolside service. Waiters kept replacing water so we had cold water since it was a very hot weekend. Delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner options. I saw a complaint about the “resort fee” but it didn’t bother me knowing how much we had been helped and waited on by anyone and everyone. They clearly pay their employees well. There is no extra charge for having a car on the property. We stayed next to the smaller pool which was nice to hop in after dinner for late night, or even just to get away from the bigger pool for a bit which was a short walk away. Even with covid19, everything was still open. We didn’t go to the spa simply since my hubby is weird about massages, but we walked around and saw the gym and boutique area. They have bikes you can use! we took to ride over to echo canyon trailhead on camelback. There was no parking left when we got there at 6:30am. It was a veryyyy challenging hike and we hike 14ers regularly. We wouldn’t recommend going later than 7am, since it gets so hot. We heard the helicopter a lot for rescues. Bring plenty of water!!I have already been raving about this place to anyone asking, and highly recommending to any couples looking for a getaway!! If we lived in Arizona we would come here more!!! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

They are trying too hard to be chic. If you like the idea that appearance is more important than reality, this is your place. Also the partying and noise from the room next to us kept us up one night and triggered a request for room change. The resort was happy to oblige. The view from both rooms was great. But the vibe reminded me more of a high end fraternity party than an exclusive resort.

The food is amazing. The property is beautiful. The service is very hit or miss. The restaurant, pool, and spa staff are fantastic. The bell desk and front desk staff are less helpful. The hotel tries to charge you for everything. For example, to work from one of their business meeting rooms, its $100 a hour. Its nice but I wouldnt choose to stay there again. I would pick a different resort.

Not sure how you can call this a 5 star resort. This is a run down old apartment complex they turned into a resort.Elements restaurant food is extremely over priced 60 dollars for pasta and tastes terrible. The room was dirty, and the walls resembled a prison cell. The drinks at the restaurant and pool were disgusting. For a 16-20+ dollar drink you would think they would use quality mixers. No you get bottom shelf horrible liquor and mixers that a college frat house would use because it was the cheapest.I scheduled with housekeeping to clean my room and replace the towels and they never showed up. When I called to ask if they were coming they said they didnt have any notes stating to clean my room...I asked if they could come clean it and they said they did not know. The positives were the valet and pool staff were very friendly and hard working! Other than that I wouldnt waste your money here.

Unfortunately, despite many positive encounters at the sanctuary. I most recently had a terrible experience with the valet. A man by the name of Lotto had decided to aggressively knock on my window upon arriving to pick up a package. He had asked what I needed in a rude manner. I had mentioned I was told to grab a package at the desk. He asked for my name then walked away. I had sat for about 5 minutes before getting out of my car to see if he’d found it. I initially planned to walk up anyways to make it easier for the valet line to run smoothly which is why I parked and moved out of their way in the first place. Lotto had been running cars and did not even check on my package. When asking him if he found it, he had faked a phone call to the front and said it had not been there. I then called the front in which they brought it over with no hassle. I had to drive back over and he sarcastically said good to see you again. Another valet had helped put it in the car. I understand it’s hot and running around in valet can be quite stressful. But his attitude was extremely unprofessional and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. He acted as if I was an inconvenience when it was a completely simplistic task. Very disappointed to see how they treat guests.

Its not worth it.Only good thing about this place was the valet and bellhop.Garbage outside in the not so private tub.Wax on the walls.Over priced minibar. $60 for a $20 tiny bottle of whiskey. With the price you pay you would think something from the spa would be included but we saw ridiculous prices for it instead. The fridge is packed with their overpriced stuff so hard to fit your items in there.Restaurant didnt work for us my fiance has too many food allergies so we cant rate it.Salt lap pool was gross with stains on patio chairs.Over crowded pool made us uncomfortable due to covid 19 so we turned around.Overall not happy and should have stayed elsewhere.Keep in mind the charges they put on you.Paid 100 more than it said on the booking page.Go to a motel at least you know what youre getting upfront.

RELAXATION AT ITS FINEST:I had the pleasure of staying at this lovely resort for several days. I thoroughly enjoyed EVERY bit of it! The rooms/view/sunrises/sunsets are out of this world (pictures do NO justice). To add to that, they are a 5 star resort for a reason & I personally witnessed it myself. I loved the service provided by the bellman (Blake) who took me to my room, brought my bags to me & parked my car on my first night), Edgar and Keith at the front desk and the guy who checked on my tv. To add to that, I must personally thank and praise Linda H. because she is the epitome of stellar customer service (and I rarely say that)! She went above & beyond for me EVERY time I interacted with her & was very attentive to each and every one of my needs.I will be back and even plan to get married at this resort one day. Did not sleep due to loud AC breaking noise issue:( I wish so bad that my stay would have been amazing but it wasn’t:( my husband surprised me with a birthday staycation here last weekend from Friday- Sunday. I’ve always wanted to stay at the Sanctuary and have eaten a few times at Elements. My excitement for this place changed as soon as we heard this very loud noise coming from the AC. It was as though the AC was breaking or malfunctioning. The loud noise would go off every 15-20 mins for about 3-5 mins long then would stop. Then it would start again over and OVER AND OVER! After a horrible night sleep, due to the sound happening throughout the night, we let staff know on Saturday what was going on. They were very prompt in responding but sent someone out to change the batteries on the fire alarm which had nothing to do with what was going on. We again reached out letting them know they did not fix the issue and they sent out a crew on Saturday night to try and fix it. They were unable to fix it but offered us a room credit for the issue. Since we were leaving the next morning the room credit was not very useful since we only had a couple hours to use it. Not only did that not solve the issue but again we had to deal with another night of no sleep The sound continued to go off all Saturday night until we left Sunday morning. I am a mom of 3 baby boys and I was not able to truly “rest and relax” like I thought I would have been. I feel bad for whoever gets that room next! This could have been made better had they switched our rooms instead of giving us a room credit that we did not fully use. I am sad and very disappointed.

Elements restaurant is nestled inside the Sanctuary resort on Camelback mountain in Paradise Valley. It is known for its spectacular city views and hosted by Celebrity Chef and Food Network star Beau MacMillan. Upon arriving, we discovered that our reservations were not for that evening, but the next day. Happily the friendly and efficient hosts were able to seat us outside on the lower patio. Next time we’ll make sure to show up on the correct night to enjoy the more panoramic view of the city from inside; however, the view from the patio is also beautiful. Our add-ons to the Restaurant Week $44 prix-fixe menu at Elements were the Shishito Peppers and a half dozen of Island Creek Oysters. The shishio’s were nice and hot in temperature. Normally I prefer them with more char, but they were so delicious with the soy caramel, crispy garlic, and sea salt that I barely noticed. The oysters were fresh and delicious with the vinegary mignonette sauce and touch of horseradish. My first selection from the restaurant week menu was the Elemental Corn Chowder with smoked potato, sweet corn, pepper relish, and bacon. The chowder was creamy without being too heavy and the smoked potato and relish added a nice contrast in texture and taste. The only way I could have been happier, was if there had been just a smidge more bacon. For an entree I choose the Grilled Flat Iron Steak with sweet potato rosti, charred napa cabbage, shallot confit, and hijiki peppercorn sauce. I asked for my steak rare with char and it was grilled to perfection. The sweet potato rosti was delicious and the steak paired with the shallot and peppercorn sauce was divine. Finally for dessert I choose the the Passion Fruit Cheesecake. Normally I’m not a huge fan of cheesecake, but I had the feeling this one would be special. Passion fruit cheesecake with toasted macadamia nut crust, vanilla bean meringues, and a black and white sesame lavosh. The tartness of the passion fruit was perfectly balanced by the sweetness of the cheesecake and the combination of textures was phenomenal! All of the staff at Elements were professional and friendly, the views of the city were spectacular, and the food was visually beautiful and excellent. I can’t wait for a return visit to Elements at Sanctuary!

While we still had drinks to finish the server came by several times to take payment. Needless to say, we felt rushed and not given the time to enjoy our astic views. I recommend reserving a suite further up the mountain. A little further from the lobby, restaurants, pool, and spa but worth it for the views. Rooms are amazingly clean and modern. I highly recommend having dinner here and then watching as the sun set. Probably the most beautiful scenic spot in Arizona.

We had an enjoyable time and our facials were incredible, however I had hoped for more spa amenities per previous experience at other spas. There is a steam room and hot tub inside, hot tub and infinity pool outside... And a quiet room. Plenty of showers and toilets, but not a whole lot more as Id anticipated. Service was excellent and friendly.
