Awesome outdoor live entertainment venue! GREAT to play & almost just as awesome watching!

Very nice venue for The Next Step Dance recital. Great facility to use during the pandemic.

My granddaughters dance recital was held here, and all the Covid 19 precautions were followed. And the restrooms were spotless! Its a nice place and my granddaughter was awesome!

I have to say I had my doubts about this place but the weather was perfect and no sun in the performers eyes was a plus!!

Awesome does not describe this place. Amazing sound. Seats to sit in if you dont bring your own blanket and chair to sit up on the beautifully landscaped grab sale. Clean bathrooms, which is unheard of at any outdoor venue these days. Nice Snack Shack, which serves alcohol.

I completely understand a venue having covid restrictions and spacing seating, however I came with my family Of 5 and we was told we could only have 4 seats meaning my special needs 4 year old would have to sit on someone’s lap,,, NO ONE else was in our row but still we could not have a 5th seat,,, I was on the end and my little boy needs to move a little and he was on the steps not close to anyone and we were told he can’t sit there either (outdoors event soNot a fire escape). I knew things would not get better so I gathered him up to leave and as I am leaving I am told I cannot walk around with him either. I stated we are leaving and left!! Covid or no covid I was appalled by the way we were treated and I will never attend another event there in the future!

Sumter is a clean, fun, and wonderful place to attend outdoor events. It is family friendly, there is tons of parking, and not a bad seat in the house!

The venue is very pretty and well kept up. The staff was amazing! So helpful!

Getting out of the house to attend an outdoor concert was a real treat, and the venue allowed for social Distancing(4 out 5 score).

Soooo FUN! It was such a great group of people and such a great atmosphere! We got lucky with the weather though. And the acoustics arent bad for being an outdoor venue! Would totally go back.

Venue is nice, sound is usually done well for shows I have been to, but staff at gate and concessions always seems to take longer than it should. Went to a show in June 2019, took 20 min to get in with a line of roughly 15 ppl, first drink took 45 min to get, stood in line for entire opening band set. They really need to figure this out.

First time at the SumTur Amphitheater and absolutely loved it! You can bring a blanket to sit on or a lawn chair to sit in. BYOB water. Acoustics are awesome! Cant wait to go back for another concert!

What a great venue. We just saw Govt Mule recently and the concert experience was one of the best Ive had in a long time. While it was smaller and probably sold out, park was free and no issues. Beverage prices were comparable to bar pricing and blankets/chairs are accepted and encouraged. Whats not encouraged is standing in the walkways, blocking traffic flow and peoples view of the stage. Its literally not allowed. Unless you are taking a quick picture or a passing glance, security will move you along. I watched it happen multiple times.We sat on the upper tier to the right of the stage and the sound was perfect. No drops or overpowering.It is a non-smoking facility, but its outdoors, your at a concert... People are going to light up something, wink wink and no one stopped them so you know its a super cool place. I will go back.

Went for a concert. The venue is very nice. The major problem though was how long the beer lines were. I literally waited for more than an hour for a couple of beers and missed the entire set of the band playing. Maybe they could scale down some of the event security that just stand around the entire time and put in just a couple more beer tents staffed with those people...

Great programming and a quality facility. Bathrooms can get a little beyond icky at times though.

The theater was great.However, the play Into the Woods was too long And a little too spoofy .The performers performed excellently .

Great 4th July concert with Nebraska Wind Symphony. Played nice selection of patriotic tunes and more.

Excellent concert venue. Exceptional seating and other facilities for disabled people to attend a show. Security (obviously a modern day requirement) was extremely kind and professional. Hands down the best concert venue in the region that Ive experienced.

Saw Cody Jinks... Everything was great. Small intimate setting. Plenty of bathrooms. Only down side waiting in line for drinks. Need more beer tents. Would love to see another show there again.

Very clean and a great location. The sound within the amphitheater was very good. It has baseball stadium type seats that were actually fairly comfortable.

Good it could use more Country events especially dance workshops

Seen Venaculas and A Day to Remember here dont like the seat areas but this place isnt for rock metal bands really, that being said Im still loving seeing the bands regardless of anything else.

Hour long line for a beer? No thanks.Edit: Update to 1.5 hours. Next time I want to pay to stand in line, Ill go to your moms house. Its a lot cheaper

Saw Guys and Dolls for the second time in its two week run. Fantastic show with an amazing amount of talent on stage and in the pit. Blessed to have such incredible acting, singing and dancing in local theater. And once again Im reminded what a wonderful venue Sumtur is. What a great experience.

The Omaha swing and symphonic band were great as always.

Awesome outdoor grass amphitheatre. Beer is way overpriced so pregame and have a friend drive you out to the middle of nowhere Nebraska for a fun concert.

Casual atmosphere and easy to get in and out quickly. No problems seeing the stage and you cant beat the food prices. Best prices Ive ever seen at a concert. EXTREMLY clean bathrooms! Very impressed. Dont be afraid to bring your lawn chairs!

Great outdoor venue for more intimate shows. Saw chevelle and it was great.

Great venue for outdoor events; concerts, movies, plays. And much is free. Bring a folding chair or blanket, partake of the concessions, and enjoy your activity.

Great hidden jam of a concert venue. Nice small crowds and great sound.

First time here and it wasnt very user friendly. The bands were great and the venue sounds awesome and looks gorgeous but we had to park a few blocks away. The line to get a drink was so long we missed the entire second set of Galactic and it never died down for the entirety of the show. They really need to separate out their food and drinks concessions it would cut down on line times drastically for those who just want a beer. The smoking area was off to the side of the stage which is fine bc I understand that not everyone wants to smell smoke but the view from that area is blocked by the bathrooms so your punishment for smoking is missing the show you paid to see. Security also took themselves way too seriously.

Wonderful venue! Will be checking their shows for another great evening.

This is a really nice facility. There was plenty of parking and the concession stand had a nice variety with reasonable prices. We sat in the reserved section and the seats were comfortable with cup holders and each seat had its own armrests.

Very small just what the doctor ordered.Great sounds and can see the stage from the lawn.Enjoyed Government Mule and The Magpie Salute this Wensday.

We saw A Day To Remember here and I must say that this is the best ampitheater Ive been to. Good layout, comfortable seats, great view, and a good size stage.

A very nice outdoor venue, however parking is inadequate for large turnouts. Basic concessions are available including wine & beer (although those are pricey). Reserved seats have good spacing and legroom.

Love the Sarpy County Trail geocache here. Its musical and so fun. Have never actually visited the theatre as its ALWAYS closed when we drive by.

What a great place to gather. Parking is not too great, but 5 stars anyway.

Outdoor venue with kids working security. Which is fine if they worried more about people relieving themselves on the trees and less on older people vaping.

I was here on June 22nd for Tennessee Jet, the great Ward Davis and finally the Incredible Cody Jinks from Ft. Worth TX. He was on Conan and the on Season 3 of the Netflixs The Ranch from the mind of Ashton Kutcher! They heard Cody play for Conan and was asked to have some of his music playing in the background of the episodes, FYI! Cody got very sick from Vertigo and taken by ambulance to a hospital and flown home for rest but first declared, I promise to come back and play for free! And less than 3 days later-while home on rest- he re-scheduled the show on Sep 20th! Again free for all that had tickets but put more tickets up for sale! Thats UNHEARD OF!!Back to SumTur, its an incredible venue for music, staff was great, plenty to drink & eat & drink...A lot of the greats like Willie have played here and Jamey Johnson is coming this summer!Do yourself a favor, if youve read this far just check out their website for a list of shows and go pick a few to enjoy!

Great venue. Too long of a line for drinks and food. Need more open space for concessions or another bar. Other than that, its an ok venue.

Nice place. In the summer, they have plays and free movies, witch are a combination of a drive in and a modern one that you sit in. It is a very nice place, and the free movies are always family friendly.

Twice bitten, still will be wanting to see Cody Jinks here, ticket bought and no refund!!!! Thrid time is gonna be BADASS!!!!
