My daughters 4th grade class took a field trip here and had a great time. The teacher did a great job showing the kids a glimpse of what it might have been like to go to school there in the late 1800s. I think the program could be expanded a bit to include some games they would have played at recess. The building is just beautiful though! The Sautter house is awesome to walk through as well.

Its such a great learning experience to see what school was once like. Having it, makes it more real for them. It was great, forward thinking to preserve it.
