Im attending a photography class here. The instructor is sweet and funny. Hes very experienced and knowledgable.You feel like youre learning from an actual pro. It was fun, cant wait to go back.

I recently asked Bonnie (owner of The Light Room) to host an event for Floridas Lieutenant Governor. He was traveling the state promoting jobs and business in our state. The Light Room is a new small successful business in Panama City that is so unique to our city that we needed to show it off! The event was flawless! The business is in the heart of our downtown. The venue is adorable and showcases various photographers and their breathtaking work. I also recently attended one of Bonnies superb photography classes she offers too. She was a fantastic teacher! She is knowledgeable about everything to do with photography. She also offers classes for all age groups. Everything about this business is world class! Attended an event, for the Republican Veterans of Florida, with the main speaker being our Lt. Gov., (with my wife Terry Cypher) at The Light Room. We were very impressed with the venue, location, display of framed photography done by locals, and the welcoming, but very professional owner, Bonnie Tate. The Light Room displays unique photographic images in a gallery setting. Many pieces are local sites captured from a novel perspective. Some items can be purchased. and you may even be inspired to sign up for classes and create your own pieces. A fun place to visit while downtown.

I took the intermediate photography class with Bonnie. She is terrific. I have taken a class at a different studio, but have learned so much more here. I love that you discuss it and then you get to practice it that same night. Bonnie is very knowledgeable and helpful. I will take more classes with her!!

I recently visited The Light Room where I was graciously greeted and given a tour. I was delighted to see the beautiful old building being used and recycled so well. The lovely wooden floor and walls compliment the exhibit of the wonderful photography and what a great classroom!
