Hello small theater! Looks so cute and cozy! I saw mostly old people in there but hey I’m #soknotyoung this looks perfect if I don’t want to be around people. Shhhh don’t tell to many about this local gem! ;)

Very clean and tidy. Staff was polite and friendly. When I brought up the fact that I wasnt charged for a concession item, I was thanked and given the item free of charge after trying to pay for it. Fellow audience members were considerate only one cell phone screen and no side conversations after the previews began. Enjoyed hearing people laugh, cringe, and sigh along with me while watching The Favorite. Parking was easy and traffic wasnt bad since it was a 7:45 showing. Will definitely drive down from San Mateo again to see limited release films here.

Ciné Arts is still hanging on. We have been to three attractions in as many weeks, including Apollo 11 and Tolkien. Weekdays are often quiet, but these were very poorly attended. Its a clean, comfortable and well appointed theatre with mostly adequate parking. The only part of the experience that was somewhat disappointing was ordering at the concession counter. The employee seemed distracted and somewhat inattentive. It took a couple of attempts to get the order right. Otherwise good.

Not the most receptive entrance. I bought a ticket & the latino guy said Here you go like he was feeding his dog rather than being gracious for a paying customer...; Apart from that, the seats are nice, but not recliners. Main thing is how they treat you, & it was lacking. Even the elderly guy in front of me got mistreated...the Latino guy said u want your ticket?

This movie theater is a nice small local theater. Its still run by Cinemark, so tickets are about the same price as the cinema 16 in mountain view, and the concessions are run the same. The movie selection seems to be geared towards an older crowd, so if youre looking for the latest movies youll be going to the cinema 16. Theres only one theater house at this one, and all the seats are normal theater seats. For the price you pay for movies, Id say its more worth it to go to the cinema 16, but the movie selection may have you come to this one, it depends on your preferences. All in all, its enjoyable, but not as good as the cinema 16 in Mountain View.

Nice theater, wide rows giving you plenty of leg room. Acoustics and sight lines are good. It is not stadium setting so you are looking up at the screen. It is a single screen theater that shows the non-main stream movies on occasion. It is a little difficult to find amongst the surrounding buildings.Prices are not bad for the area, parking is good.

Its ok. The theaters have not been updated. In fact it still feels like two theaters that were originally one - longer than wide, screen off placed. But it does carry less major pics a lot, which is nice.

Only one movie showing here at a time -- I dont know how they survive. Its an older theater, and the interior reflects that. This theater doesnt seem to have enough staff either, because the same person collecting movie tickets was the same person selling them.

Its an older style theater especially the seating. No stadium seating. Only two screens. The auditorium was almost packed full for the movie On the Basis of Sex. The crowd was mostly about 50 plus years old. Basic cinemark food but most people didnt buy anything. I would go again for CineArts movies.

Great parking, easy to get to, what is there not to like? Okay, so they dont have the uber comfy loungers, but it translates into being able to accommodate more guests, lessens the risk of being turned away for those of us who tend to head to the movies at the last minute without prior planning.

Standard Cinemark ticket price, concession availability and price. Reasonably nice seats (not recliners). No reserved seating, and parking is easy. Usually fairly empty; you dont need to arrive 20 minutes early to secure a seat. They play only indie/art films,. There are 2 theaters, so they usually play 2 titles at a time.Huge amount of legroom in the seats. If I straighten my legs, I cant even touch the seat in front of me.

This movie theater shows a lot of good movies from the independent movie realm and less mainstream pictures, which is awesome. However, this theater is dying for an update. Also this is not your traditional stadium seating, there is only a slight tilt in the seating levels. It is a bit awkward, but it works. Concessions are good and staff is helpful and courteous.

Older theater with only two screens, but they show quality movies and everyone is friendly. Not posh like the Santana Row version, but you also avoid the crowds here. Bathrooms for men/women are on opposite ends. The food is overpriced as youd expect, but they have reusable tubs you can buy that include cheaper refills for a calendar year, which is pretty clever if youre like us and need some popcorn before or during your movie.
