Would of Been Great If There Was a Bench to Seat And Eat

Spent Fourth of July here. We did not know the Oakridge Boys would be playing, so that was a great surprise! Had seen Three Dog Night here a few years back. City of Palmetto puts on a great time! Lots of stuff for the kids to do. Fireworks were fantastic for this little town.

Could upgrade playground part of its been there when I was in elementary school across the street!

This park needs some tlc...the playground is really getting worn out and aging, broken....its a shame, used to be very nice

Love this park!

Have been here twice for seafood festival. It was fun last year and even more this year. More vendors, bands and better turnout.

The concerts at Sutton Park are always great. Thank you Mayor Shirley. July 4th was awesome. The park is a great place to go year round. Maybe for a future concert on the 4th Queen?

Very nice outdoor venue for a concert. Bathrooms are really nice. Theres some trees for sunny days. Overall we would go back for another concert.

Went to see the Charles Daniels Band. It was a great experience. Beautiful place great atmosphere and the people there were nice. The vendors that participated were great. The mayor and event coordinators did it right!It would be nice to have more events like this.

Absolutely lovely...the upgrades theyve done on the restrooms, and the pavilion are very nice. It was well overdue but it is a nice start.

The play area is nothing but black dirty sand also the restrooms are very unsanitary because the homeless live at the park and use the facilities to take baths and whatever else they do in there also when I used the park for one afternoon for my Childs birthday party i was charged 200.00 dollars so Sutton park has been taken over by the homeless just like Riverside park where the homeless pass out on the ground and on the playground equipment throw dirty diapers in the splash park. We have to go to Sarasota to find a decent park even though we live and pay taxes in palmetto this really needs to change.

Great place for a local outside concert. We saw 38 Special during the seafood festival here. We had purchased in advance, seats for the concert, but most people stood and their spot was just as good as ours was. So, if you can stand up for a whole concert, there is really no reason to pay extra for seating here. If they ever have a band I like here, I would definitely go back

I have had a couple of fundraising events for my charity wheels for purple hearts the mayor and her entire staff were absolutely hands open the best people I have ever met that are in that position theyve all got my votes and my thumbs up for a long time as long as Im alive great place great people.

Tried this park on a mon at2:30. The playground had a bunch of sketchy adults at it cussing and smoking. There was broken glass in the sand and trash all over. Very disappointing.

Lots of space to throw a frisbee and run around. The restrooms dont have soap in them though. And the playground is small.

Nice park to have your lunch break. Shades and old trees to look at while having lunch. Plenty of parking.

Its okay but too many not picking up behind their dog ...I would never or play on that grass

Multi playgrounds, big stage and open fields. Popular with locals. Basketball courts always have people there. Great pick-up games.

Great park. Went for the fireworks with my daughter in law and two of the grands. It dont get much better.

A very nice playground for young children and older ones. Parents can sit and watch both ages at the same place. Bathrooms are so clean and well light.

Cool shaded park for parents with little kids. Library is right across the street and bathrooms are available at the park. Fairly clean with some broken and old play equipment.

Good area for playing Pokémon Go

Great park, big open field as well as a wooded area with picnic tables. clean accessible restrooms. There is also Basketball, tennis courts and playground that are open to the public.

Cool park with a playground and the city often host special events here. Always a good time there on the 4th July.

They have new bathrooms and new features. Kids like it. I just wish they would update the playground for the kids and get rid of that dirty sand. A flat rubber top would be nice.

BUMs and Drug Dealers are taking over! Dear palmetto City, plz Close the bathroom after 6pm! Bums are showering there, thats why they camp nearby! It is becoming an uncomfortable place for family. City should do a better job of not letting shady activity enter this family environment.

Great park in the middle of old historic town. Museum right across the street as well as a public library. Big oaks for shade. Popular fit concerts and fairs.

As a youngster I grew up with this park. If you look at it now, its completely different, in a good way. Great place to bring your kids for a nice day at the playground.

Wish every public event could held at Sutton Park.

Its very well kept, neat, shade, close to other businesses, library, grassy and large enough for large gathering or small. Varity of things going on there for the community.

I have lived in florida all of my life and I have grown up playing at this park in palmetto florida it is a small town that has good people, and places to see and if you get a chance please come to this park and let your kids play they will love it, I know my kids love it.
