It’s good to see a tunnel in the mountain road. You will see Hidden Springs picnic site on the left once you pass the tunnel from the south. You can actually hear the echos when you speak loudly from the parking lot of picnic site. Of course, you are here because of the hidden springs

Located next to the Hidden Springs Picnic area, the tunnel is on Angeles Forest Highway and part of the scenic drive.

Sometimes marked on maps as the Singing Springs Tunnel. At the tunnels south entrance are rocks of banded gneiss, 1,700 million years old, some of the oldest rock found in the San Gabriel Mountains. The road cuts through a ridge separating the Big Tujunga from its tributary, Mill Creek.
