It’s good to see a tunnel in the mountain road. You will see Hidden Springs picnic site on the left once you pass the tunnel from the south. You can actually hear the echos when you speak loudly from the parking lot of picnic site. Of course, you are here because of the hidden springs

It’s shock to see a tunnel suddenly appears. But it’s not hard to understand why it’s called hidden spring.

We stopped to enjoy the views of the large rocky mountain. The trees and the tunnel.

It was too short of a hike but everything was pretty clean other than some graffiti

Located next to the Hidden Springs Picnic area, the tunnel is on Angeles Forest Highway and part of the scenic drive.

Sometimes marked on maps as the Singing Springs Tunnel. At the tunnels south entrance are rocks of banded gneiss, 1,700 million years old, some of the oldest rock found in the San Gabriel Mountains. The road cuts through a ridge separating the Big Tujunga from its tributary, Mill Creek.

The place has potential but it has trash and graffiti everywhere which kind of makes it sad

Nice place to have a bbq small water stream but beautiful view dog friendly...lots bikes passing fast
