When I went it was in the summer in July and it was extremely hot. I kept my sandals on to move around the water park otherwise I would burn my feet. However there was very few people in comparison to other water parks. This meant that we were able to go on all the water rides with hardly any wait time. Max we waited on lines was 5 minutes.

Had a great time with my lady here. It’s a money pit but worth it. You pay for ticket plus you pay to park, plus food isn’t very good there an stupid expensive for what they serve, plus you pay for storage, plus this plus that so it adds up real quick but still a good time. I would go back.

Great place to beat the heat! We take the kids here just to enjoy the water and relax. If you want a cabana, you better get there when they open or they will be gone all summer long. Floating around the lazy River is super relaxing and the wave pool is fun as well. There are 7 big slides as well as a bunch of little ones in the water house for smaller kids. Make sure you hold onto your raft handles on the single rider tubes as you can catch some pretty good air in the turns and drops. Have fun!

I found this water park to be very outdated and needs a remodel of some things like the restrooms. The don’t have nearly enough seating and definitely not enough shade for the 111 degree heat. And there were no misters anywhere which is crazy for a place this hot. Many people had to sit in a small grassy area that’s on a steep hill. The kids enjoyed the park but they couldn’t even handle the unbearable heat and waiting in lines with no water misters. Left after just a few hours.

Its fun, if you can get discounts. Finding shade can be a challenge. They have a great play zone for kids and big slides for adults.2018 Edit:Back again first time this year with brand new season passes. Im not the least amused they decided to take ALL of the plastic chairs from from the Sunset Grill covered area, and move them all out in the sun, across the park, facing some water slides. Heres the problem, parents no longer have a comfortable place to sit, and keep cool and watch the kiddos playing in Big Kahunas Beach House. Had I known this change was made, I would have skipped buying passes this year.

A water park in Palm Springs sounds heavenly until you realize they don’t know anything about the sun beating down everyone trying to cool off. No shaded pathways, no shade in the wave pool, no shade getting your cabana, no shade in the lazy river. Hello?!?!! You’re in the Desert! We have plenty of hot sun already! Add some god damned shade! We cooled off in the kids pipeworks by sitting on the concrete in the shade. The lifeguards perform this amazing “dance” as they nod their heads and have a coordinated sweep of their sections. Fascinating to watch. No one is drowning or having much fun on their watch but better safe than sorry. Too bad they are also stuck in full direct sunlight because, again, not nearly enough shade.Still, had a good time. There’s alcohol which really helped.

Decent water park. Rules that the kids have to wear life jackets to go in the playground water area is a little silly. The water they play in is consistently being drained so there really is no place in that area to drown. If anything those life jackets make it more unsafe due to its bulk. Regardless, better safe than sorry. Staff is not that friendly but then again they are strict to ensure lives are not lost. Just go there and have a great time. They due waves in the pool every 30 mins or so. That is real fun.

There is also a pool that has waves going from the deep side. If you have any questions just respond and Ill let you know.

Edit: Season pass is not worth it. literally 1 or 2 slides open (out of 6 or 7 total) on the kids water playground. The Lazy river feels like warm/hot pee water and the staff are annoying around it. You have to be sitting in a tube and thats it... If you literally do anything else, they are whistling at you. The wave pool has 25 to 30 minute breaks between waves and when the waves start they only last for about 5 to 10 minutes randomly. Must be great when you dont work on the weekends because I was told they only open more than 1 or 2 slides on the kids playground on weekends. If thats true, then a season pass might be worth it, but only if you can make it to 5 or 6 Saturdays or Sundays within 2 monthsToday 8/24/18: I originally paid for season pass but didnt know a season is only the length of summer break (about 2 months)... Unfortunately I work weekends and was only able to take my daughter a few times on Thur. or Fridays. Was actually looking forward to not seeing as many people today but didnt learn they were closed until we made the 40 minute drive over there... What a nice way to lose an hour and twenty minutes of my day off (round trip). Civic Center swim area does the same thing... They close the water park area when the kids go back to school. Parking fees are a ripoff. You can park just outside and its the same length of time to walk from the standard parking area. Dont pay for parking unless you get the premium parking area!

My family has been here a couple times. The first visit was good (back in 2013). We went back last month. It was a Saturday, so definitely crowded. Everything should have open as it should have been expected to be busy. However, during this visit, there were several slides closed. A few opened up late in the day, but because of the late opening, the lines got long very quickly. The wave pool had bits of trash and hair floating in it. The restrooms definitely needed more attention. The worst part of the whole trip was when we went to leave. My youngest son had used a life jacket throughout the day. I planned to put it away on the way out of the park. I totally forgot about it and ended up exiting the park with it. The employee working the exit didnt notice. Once outside the park I realized I still had it. I had my family wait while I went back to return it. I apologized to the employee and tried to give it to him, but he refused to take it. He said he was not allowed to take it and that I would have to take it all the way back myself. I find this to be completely ridiculous. I could have just left with it. I could have just left it lying anywhere (like so many others), but I was trying to do the right thing. I feel that this type of customer service is just horrific.I will not come back. I dont think the price of parking and admission is worth it.

It is a nice water park, especially the wave poll and the rides, it is actually pretty good to spent 30 dollars on going here, than your weekly coffee, there is actually many lifeguards, and security around the park, especially if you take your kids. Many people will say that watermarks suck but this water park doesnt at all, better than probably your pool house, still there is many snacks in the snack bars, and small restaurants, just that the food is kind of expensive so take around 40 dollars for each person, 30 for the entrance, and ten for the snack bar.

Needs new management. The place is run down. A railing as you climb up one of the rides was being held on with what looked like a tie strap. one of the urinals in the mens room has not worked all summer and i see rust everywhere. The sides to the Cabanas dont go all the way to the ground or cant be closed for privacy or shade (pull the left side to the right and vise versa and there is a good 12+ inch gap) so no changing in your cabana. If the sun is in the south I want to close the south wall for shade. Wet n wild look at the cabanas at legoland water park, you can find pictures online. I hope whoever ordered the cabana walls has been fired. You had 1 job to do and you failed. Moving on ....Only 1 snack shack is open before noon. I do not want to walk all the way to the front to get a drink when I should be watching my child. Maybe open at say 11:00. The bucket that dumps water on people was not working the last time we were there and its not the first time. No one knew as they didnt have a sign or the life guard didnt say anything, so kids would stand under it waiting and waiting and waiting. We live in the desert we need MORE SHADE. Many of the lounge chairs are broken and / or just filthy. This review is for anyone who is thinking about going. It is fun and the kids love it. This review is also for Wet n Wild Hopefully they will fix the issues I did not ride every ride so I do not know how bad of shape they are all in. Unfortunately not great.I don’t mind paying a lot for food considering we are stuck in a water park. I also don’t mind lines as that’s part of the deal during spring break. However my rating is due to a few things: The wave pool only coming on for 5 minutes every hour Or even hour and a half- for 5 minutes. 5 of the slides were closed. The amount of time it took to get into the lazy river due to lack of staff was mind boggling. I went down here Saturday for the day with my family and the staff were nothing but rude and bossy! By bossy, I know they are trying to do the job they are assigned BUT they were bossy to a different level. Everything I did, I swear I got yelled at for. I was never in the wrong of anything. I have multiple stories of what went on. I work customer service and that is not how you treat people. Also, I payed a high amount of money for a bundle that also came with a meal deal. The food I received was burnt and cold. I dont drink soda and they didnt offer a water bottle like the add said when I purchased the bundle. I asked and they denied. I liked this place way better when it was Knotts Soak City. Staff were much more pleasant and you could have a good time without getting yelled at the whole time! You would also think by now that they would have put down the foam pads over the side walk so you dont get 3rd degree burns by barely touching the ground, or even through your sandals but they havent thought of that yet, obviously. Not returning anytime soon.

Only one day had reduced admission prices. We bought a season pass even though we were just there for vacation but ended up going 4 days so definitely worth it. They should have a reduced kids price, maybe based on height since my 3 year old niece couldnt do much but was still very expensive. When we got up from the floaty we walked off and the lifeguard girl blows her whistle crazy at us implying that she wants us to put it back with the other ones. I didnt have a problem with doing so but please speak up and dont be in silence and assume certain things to be done. Also in the ripe tip reef pool me and my sister were splashing each other and later get scolded by a security guard/life guard dressed in a blue uniform. Review №100

Staff(95%), is horrible. They are rude, lack personality, unhappy at work... Kids play area, 6 slides, 4 closed off, not good! Wave pool not working properly or..girl working said she didnt know what the problem was... Ropes where kids play on in Kids play area, coming apart, watersludesin park lacking speed(smoothness), etc. Go somewhere else!
