Beautiful course with interesting holes. Bunkers have too much sand. Dormant grass is very difficult to hit off. Grass near bunkers and water is shaved bringing hazards into play a lot. Not an easy course.

Bellatrix: This is our go-to place for family celebrations. Today we were there honoring the passing of my spouse of 30 years, a bittersweet time. Great atmosphere. Attentive servers. Good menu with innovative food choices.Unfortunately, I wasnt impressed with the salmon I ordered. Nothing particularly bad but I didnt like the whole garlic and olives and whatever else the salmon was topped with. The portion size of the salmon seemed to be on the small side. But the risotto, vegetables, and bread were good. The Clam Chowder was very good and the clams were perfectly cooked not chewy. I skipped dessert because I had several leftovers waiting at home.As I said, the salmon wasnt particularly bad but wasnt something I really liked.The others in my group thoroughly enjoyed their meals and practically cleaned their plates. The special, petite lobster with risotto, looked really good and I wished I had ordered that.Ill probably go back but I will be much more selective in what I choose and be much less adventurous.

I had heard some nice things about The Classic Club, so possibly my expectations were too high. For the price the course was a bit rough around the runoff areas around the greens and several old ball marks unrepaired on most greens. Many unfilled divots in many fairways as well. Staff was fine, but not as good as many less expensive courses in the desert. Would I spend my hard earned money to play it again? Its a coin flip. Some beautiful holes to look at, but probably priced $25-50 too high.

Love Belatrix restaurant located inside. Sit on the patio which is heated if needed. Beautiful views, excellent food at very reasonable prices.

We had my son’s Celebration of Life here and it was beautiful. The accommodations were great, food was amazing. Charlsie, Sales & Catering Manager went up and beyond to make everything so special. This is one event that will forever be in my heart. Thank you!

Both golf course and food is going downhill. Course is not well maintained, not much grass around greens. Food quality is inconsistent.

Marshalls are way too aggressive nobody behind us they would still push you other than that golf course was fantastic people in the pro shop were fantastic. Marshalls are way too aggressive even if they dont say anything to you theyre always spying on you or watching you from somewhere making you feel rushed. I played with a five handicap and a 15 handicap and Im a 12 handicap

Very enjoyable course well thought out. Flags were all very protected with bunkers. Only thing was the fairways in a few spots were in rough shape along with some of the bunkers, but I would still recommend this course to my friends.

Been driving past this course for years on my way from Phoenix to LA. Finally stopped to run this track and its now going to be a regular stop. A challenging yet fair course with lots of topography really enjoyed this round.

The golf course is awesome and in FANTASTIC shape! The greens are nice and fast and the fairways are like a green carpet. The food at the restaurant is very good and the price is as well. Cant wait to go back.

Classic Club: This is a big-dimension, challenging, championship layout with world-class credentials. The usually ample fairways, laid out on nicely undulating, open desert terrain, are defended with plenty of large, stylish bunkers. On both the front and back-nines, good-size lakes also pose a dangerous threat alongside some fairways and around several greens.

They do a great job. Usually get a nice towel with your green fees. Also a certificate for $15 to use for anything there. The course is always in impeccable condition. It is a very comfortable place to be. The practice facility is well done as well. It is one of the top three courses we play in the area.

Terrific golf course, played it recently with Jason Day. Tonight went to the restaurant, Bellatrix, great happy hour, wonderful ambience, well worth going.

Prices are reasonable. Ambience is excellent. Food is great. My wife had the chicken salad for lunch and said it was the best she ever had. I had a steak sandwich that was very good. We would go there again in a heartbeat.

Went to Bellatrix for a weeknight Happy Hour. Best deal ever! Small bites are substantial as a meal, and the sangria was delicious. The bar area was buzzing and our server was very attentive and conversational.Definitely going back when visiting the desert.

Just played this course with 7 friends on a golf vacation. We played 5 days with 1-2 courses/day, and this course was a disappointment. It stings because i picked this course, and was embarrassed by the conditionPer the reviews i read, It is known for immaculate conditions and this was not the case. The traps were explained by the starter under hus breath as his last dtatement, as ground under repair.I understand that this year was unseasonably rainy, but I received no notice of this when i called and asked about conditions, even though i asked if the greens had been aerated, and received a long explanation about how they would never make a reservation without notifying their patrons?This was the most expensive course we played and the worst conditions!Go somewhere else.

Bellatrix Restaurant is one of my favorites. We had lunch there to celebrate our anniversary. Food, service, and ambiance are what always bring us back.

Worth every penny.....better than PGA West. I read all kinds of top 5-10 lists and Classic made very few if any and what a shame. PGA West makes all of them and I am here to tell you to bypass PGA West and play Classic each and every time. Classic is just a better golf course and FAR less crowded. West was a good course but not fun. Classic is well planned out, no bad wholes, no tricky holes but perfectly maintained at every turn.

Beautiful course for reasonable green fee that includes a $15 voucher you can use in their pro shop or their restaurant. We ate in the restaurant which had good food selections and a nice full bar.The course is awesome with water on most of the holes. Its challenging, but not super difficult where you wouldnt have fun. This was our second time in two years because we loved the course and value so much and well be back again.

The food is very good keeping in mind that this is a golf country club, however, open to the public. Servers and service are great. One nice feature, the plates come piping hot so your fries dont cool off even if you dine on the terrace. The views out over the lake, the crashing water falling into lovely ponds, and the magnificent birds, egrets, herons, geese, ducks and many more species, are the crowning glory to a most spectacular experience.

Absolutely a gem. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I should also mention honest also. I lost my watch phone there and the staff secured it for me. Greg Rubino ensured its safe return to me here in northern California. A must play course. Picturesque views all around.

Tough course, especially when its windy. Greens were good.....nice pace but not what you would call speedy, but thats understandable because they would be much tougher in the wind. Very well maintained......good service.....a must play for better players

Great layout. Always windy and water hazards everywhere. Too hard for average golfers. Tried to have lunch after our round but they said it would be a 30 minute wait for a table. What a bunch of losers. Went to In and Out burger instead and saved $30.

We planned our wedding in just under 8 weeks and the staff at The Classic Club were phenomenal! There are so many details that go into preparing for a wedding that I had never thought of and Christine was there to help with every single one. The day of the wedding went so smoothly and our guests were extremely impressed with everything about it. The views are breathtaking (especially at sunset), the food was absolutely delicious, the service impeccable, the facilities neatly maintained, and there was an overall feeling of warmth and welcome that I wouldnt have traded for the world. I would recommend anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue to go see The Classic Club!

This pristine, former PGA Tour stop is absolutely gorgeous. For the price, you will get top of the line conditions and course layout. This course is definitely a players course though - youve been warned.

This golf course by far is the best in the area hands down. The greens are so pure and true it is scary good. The course from tee to green is emaculate. This is one golf course I will play every time I come to the desert.

The course is one of best in the desert lovely layout and top of the line service. Also if you look hard enough you might see Arnie in a commercial on this great layout I never miss playing here when I visit.

Attended a luncheon and service was SUB PAR. Waited over 15 minutes for Ice Tea pitcher to be refilled (server took to refill) served WRONG lunch 3 times even though i had a special sign that stated which lunch I wad to be served. server served 3 out if 8 people coffee and instead of finishing our table, hecstarted serving the table next to us and NEVER came back to our table. Had to find another server tobserve coffee. Very disappointed.

This is my favorite course in the Palm Springs area. The prices are great the service is excellent and the course is outstanding. Challenging layout for all levels. I would definitely recommend this course.
