The course was very nice and the people friendly. However the resident housing surrounding the course was more like a unkept trailer park. The ground keepers have spent most of their time maintaining perfect greens and fairways. Outside of the fairways near the housing property lines were dirt and unsightly to the eye. a individual who was playing with us was threatened by a resident when his ball dropped in a open area (non fenced) clearly questionable whether it was on the individuals property or on the perimeter of the course. Bottom line however it was a forgiving wide open course and I enjoyed playing on my birthday.

Meticulous course and property. Not too challenging and therefore quite enjoyable. On the course just after over seed and so cart path was all we could drive on which for me is a lot of walking !!

Very nice course...greens were the best I played on in a long time. Definitely will make Palm Desert Country Club one of my regular stops in the Valley

Its not a country club as others here, no gates and roads are public. It used to be military housing years ago with military housing built around the golf course. The first waves of home owners were majority veterans. I owned a home there years ago right in front of the second green on the 9 hole but its all gone now. I understand that they are building around 6 hundred condos, not enough room for so many.

They have let the 9 Hole go to hell. Dust insects weeds its a mess. Going to lose another pool man. The group that owns it doesnt give a dam

I live on the golf course and every morning so much effort is put into keeping the golf course immaculate. Such a great golfing destination

Had an excellent Thanksgiving dinner yesterday. Food was wonderful and the service was excellent.

After living here since 1980 I can tell you any house thats built before 1980 is not worth buying because its going to be a nightmare fixing it and just trying to make it liveable. When people suddenly decided to start living here year around, these homes should have been demolished and rebuilt for that purpose.

That could be slightly biased because I do live on the 7th green the course is in real good shape after overseeding they could mow the rough a little more often but they PS: you must know how to read signs or look for a green fence update theyve started to mow the rough better

Class place, good food and drink, reasonably priced. Excellent mid week food specials and Fridays/Saturdays are an excellent experience, particularly the live music. Top performers. Ive sent many friends from up north to the weekend gigs and they love it. Kudos to Reggie and his team.

We attended a charity event here that one of our grandchildren planned and it was absolutely fantastic! From the staff to the immaculate details, everyone working at this venue was exceptional! Hope to attend more events here!

This is not a country club in the true sense. No security gates, multiple roads but its an excellent and affordable place to live. Families and retirees with older and newer homes surround 18 and separate 9 hole golf course. Supermarket and mom and pop stores with a few eateries. Freeway is about ten minutes away and full shopping about 20.

I grew up here! Came back to visit family and see my old child hood home.

Course was in summer shape, but greens were in excellent condition. We teed off just after 10 and pretty much had the course to ourselves.

Dave the club house pro is very receptive when you arrive. Makes you feel welcome. The course is fun to play. I love the scenery and the course.

Its a nice old fashion desert course, just challenging enough but not over whelming! The only thing that wrecked the day was a couple douche members in custom carts that hit into to us, even though no need as we werent going anywhere with a group in front. I wanted to buy them a bran muffin at the turn they seemed liked uptight knobs but not the courses fault at all will easily play it again!

I grew up here in the 80s. It was nice then but all my friends parents, including mine, still live there. So theyre all like a hundred now. Its like Gods waiting room with golf carts. What the hell happened to the 9-hole course? It looks more like a dirt track for Supercross. Hey theres a novel idea!

Played a fun round of golf here yesterday. Not busy at all, staff very friendly and course in good shape! Great value for $40.

Good value golf course. They dont have a driving range warm up area. Good chipping and putting areas. Converting to less grass and a bit less picturesque but overall good.

This is not a closed community, no gates or guards but is a very nice place to live. People walk, jog and cycle year round. Unfortunately my daughters vehicle was broken into last night but thats very unusual

Cheif John goes above to make residents happy. You cant go wrong here.

A nice overall course and experience. Tahquitz creek resort course would be a better overall experience for tourists. Palm desert doesnt have a driving range and the bag drop is a nicer experience. Although both dated, tahquitz quality is a little better. Given that youbgetvtwo free drinks and a meal at tahquitz your value is better there although we had a nice time playing a different course
