I find this course average. This is not the most helpful review I understand but nothing really stood out to me. Ive played a lot of different courses in Florida and this just rates a three star review. Maybe my standard is higher not sure its all subjective. Hope you enjoy, any day playing golf and not working is five star.

Better than deing at work

Easy Booking and Easy Cancellation.Friendly staff. The course is actually good for the reasonable price. Greens are mostly in fair condition, fairways are normally manicured and looks good.

Tough course that is well maintained. The back nine has no bathroom so it gets a four star instead of 5.Course has a challenging layout, sometimes narrow, sometimes inclined to roll out of bounds. A couple over water holes.Play pace is good most times. Theres a restaurant open for takeout.

Majors is a wonderful place to play, practice or grab a bite to eat. Staff and patrons are friendly and great atmosphere. The course is top notch.

Course was in very good condition, but outside golf staff was very unprofessional and rude and will definitely take my business elsewhere. Sucks that such a good course can be ruined by horrible staff

This was a very nice course with lots of challenges. It can be very challenging if you are not a straight hitter. Lots of fun though, and the restaurant is good also. Course was somewhat wet when we played by and many holes were cart path only.

Course has a lot of potential, and a lot of great holes. Definitely need some work, the condition of the greens left a lot to be desired. Pace of play was great, and everybody in the clubhouse was very polite.

The staff was excellent & friendly, our server Zeeva was outstanding! My food was only luke warm but considering how busy they were Im not surprised. I hope they have Hot Pink back again but need to be better prepared for the crowd!

Walked into clubhouse to check in wearing long sleeved Columbia shirt and mask. Was nit picked by manager on duty saying he would appreciate it if I didnt wear a tee shirt next time. Meanwhile golf partners are being told we could not bring our own ice and water on course.The heat index was 102 and no ice water was available unless we bought it from cart girl.The greens were in terrible shape to top it off.Probably wont play here again.Lighten up Majors youre not the nicest course around.

I like the renovations that have occurred in the clubhouse. Appreciated the pandemic precautions taken. The course was in playable shape but it could be better.

Great Pro shop, and custom service This was designed by Arnold Palmer. Its been a little beat up and needs a smidge of work. Aside from that, fun to play and has some challenging holes!

Big, open course. The green are in horrible condition. The sand traps arent raked and are like hitting off of concrete. Only reason I play here is if the other local places are full. Staff is nice enough but it doesnt make up for the bad golfing conditions.

Best experience I had playing golf in long time. I had opportunity to visit once more since my daughter moved to Palm Bay, FL. If I lived in the area I would definitely make this my go-to golf course. Compared to other public or semi-private courses that I played back home in Northern Virginia DC metro area, the Majors Golf Club is a bargain for random golf plus cart. Its exceptional in terms of challenge for skilled player, but will not overwhelm less experienced player. The greens are immaculate and overall course conditions are superb, and easily on par with private courses I played in Northeast. I cant wait to get back to Palm Bay again and be sure to play at The Majors several times. Kudos!

This place looks great, wonderful improvements they have made. It look great inside and the food is outstanding. The course is in excellent shape. My favorite course in brevard.

Course is really ran down, Lost our way from one hole to the next tee box several times.... fairways dry and over grown... Greens patchy and dry... Really needs work. I live here but now play in Sebastian. Ten times the quality of course.... The Majors could be nice if someone would get off their wallet and hire qualified greens keeper and a golf pro, oh! And paint the dining area/ Bar area. Filthy ceiling over dining tables.

Course is nice with you getting chances to use every club in the bag.Today, a Friday visit after national holiday, was less than ideal. For the record, they dont have a Starter (ever) which led to issues today. Guy ahead of us 7:15 tee time (us shortly after). Clubhouse gave him a twosome who showed up late and they teed off at about 7:20. We went off after them and several groups followed (some tournament going on???). Got notice later at clubhouse for us to catch group ahead of us (note: we caught them - it wasnt the original group that was ahead of us). We were a group of four with two older golfers who average in 80s and two 30 age golfers who play once in a while. We didnt play slow but our scores were horrid. Will return but will using the range and playing best ball from now on.Still searching for a good home course.

Have been here twice with friends. First time was really nice, course was in good shape, greens and fairways nice and the pace of play was good. Second time was a bit of a letdown. We got a good rate but the second time which was about two weeks ago, the course was in super rough shape. The fairways were still nice, but the greens were rough. The worst was the bunkers, they were full of this dark gray sand that was near impossible to hit out of and it was hard to find golf balls if you hit into them. The sad part is, this course is well designed and has some good views but theres a lot of construction going on around the back 9 and when its all done, the course will lose its luster. Hopefully the fall season is a bit more promising and the course conditions improve.

Eh...it for people that love spending money

Don’t waste your money. Course has been let go. There are weeds in all the traps and weeds growing out of the greens. It’s a shame being it use to be a nice course.

I have played the course on numerous occasions and always enjoyed it. Today after almost three years from last playing it, the course was in terrable condition. Numerous greens were bare and populated by what could be called weeds instead of grass. The fairways were not much better, the rough, well there was no rough just what could be considered run off, dirt.We played behind a foursome that just didn’t care about golf etiquette and we finished only 11 holes, and it took us 3 hours. We walked off the course, don’t think we’ll be back.

Really nice club. The day I went was spur of the moment. I was with my son after he got off work. He wanted to hit some balls and I wanted to get out n hangout with him. So he drove over and he wasnt exactly dressed correctly. I was embarrassed for him a little but it was so close to sunset we thought wed hurry n try to hit the range anyway. The gentleman that check us in was very kind and he said that normally he wouldnt but the range was being done and the sun was setting. He could have been a total jerk within his rights and turned us out. It was close to the anniversary of my husbands passing so it was kinda nice to have a little time doing this with my son at this time so spontaneous. Although we did get some looks from other members but I hope it didnt make problems for the guy. He gave me a wonderful gift.some alone time with my son.

Course is in the worst shape it has ever been in and I am a local here. Muddy tire ruts all through the fairways, grass in the fairways is brown and dead, greens are dried out, teeboxes many have no grass. Horrid conditions.

Course used to be in great shape. They need chipping options too. Not the best staff.

Course is a mess!!!! Practice chipping green was shut down for weeks, then open for a few days and closed because they are taking the grass off the green to fill patches all over the course.Driving range is all crab grass on the members only side. And the public one is wet.Bunkers are either hard as rock or filled wirh weeds and grass.Greens all patchy, holes every where.And the workers and manager are rude and not very friendly.Not worth the money to play. Racially the rates they charge.Highly dont recommend this course.

Very enjoyable. One of the nicest we have played in Florida in the last five weeks. We will definitely be back. Good greens, great holes.

Rough shape. Lots of bare areas on fairways and recently aerated greens. Usually nice, just not today.

Needs watering. Lay out is nice. Just needs some TLC.

A great place to golf! All of the saff and members are fantastic. As a returning/newer golfer, this a great place to play in Palm Bay: challenging while being welcoming and friendly.

Worst golf cource in brevard

This course has undergone some major renovations this summer which included completely new greens and improved fairways. The new greens are magnificent and the fairways have almost too much grass now. What an improvement to a very nice course. This course is harder than its course ratings so you should consider moving up a tee (USGA is trying to get golfers to do this to have more fun playing golf). I would have given the course a higher rating but the sand traps are in terrible shape with hardly any sand. A lot of rain this summer has not helped these traps. Also, the rough along the fairways is way to high. You can easily lose golf balls just a few feet off the fairway. I understand that management is working on both of these issues which, when fixed, will earn this course 5 stars.

Had an amazing time. I am an amateur and was a difficult course but it is well kept and really good for competitive golfing.

Had a ball there at the club. The watering hole was quite wet.

We played 18 April 5, 2014. The course was a little dry in the fairways and the greens were very dry with several brown spots down to the dirt. Disappointing to say the least. This is an upscale course with fees that match. The course did not have any water coolers and with the weather being 87 water coolers should be everywhere. Is the course trying to save a dollar by not providing this amenity? If you want to lose customers thats a good way to operate. As for the staff they were very professional and friendly. The clubhouse is still top of the line. Time to step it up with course conditions and satisfying your customers with basic needs or lower your fees to match the county courses. Thumbs down for yesterdays experience.

Great staff and fun course to play. The green on the 15th (par 3)is almost completely surrounded by water. Its in my top 3 courses to play in the area

Like the golf course, sad some of the adjacent land has been cleared for houses, killed some of the uniqueness of the course.

Course is in great shape! A little over 4 hours for the round! Good staff! An all around good day!

Went there on Wednesday and had no issues with the course we didn’t have clubs and they rented some to us and were great. Went back on Saturday and the douchebag at the counter asked us to change shirts cuz we were wearing dri fit shirts lol which we also wore on Wednesday. That’s fine tho. We took our $60 else where.

Arnold Palmer designed course in a beautiful woodsy setting with challenging holes on the front 9 and back 9!!Definite must play golf course and in great shape!!Lots of water holes..so you gotta stay away from the water or youll be out of golf balls!!!

The Majors has really turned around this last year thanks to new management. The greens are outstanding and the resident pro instructor (Mike Pryor) is very good. Saturday seminars are free and the fees are very competitive. The restaurant still needs to come up, though. Food is o.k. - but definitely not clubhouse quality.

A must play course in Brevard county. Greens are in great shape.

Ive played this course before, but today just hit the driving range and some short game practice. The course challenging and is always well kept with a great staff to go along with it.

Fairways and approaches to greens very very tight. Almost prefer to hit into rough. Needs to be watered more often or cut less. Some staff slightly rude. Not worth normal winter rates.

Played 18 at Thanksgiving. At first I was reluctant to go due to the other two postings. But I had a good time. The staff was good and the corse layout and greens were nice. The day that I went was full but the play moved along just fine. I would recomend this if your in the area.

Good place for golf, even for a beginner as me

Today I played at this club for the first time and joined the Player development program(PDP). I recently moved here from boca raton where I am used to a certain standard of golf facilities. I was made aware that the facilities in viera would be up to par, however I did not want to drive 30 minutes to practice and play. After searching and playing at other courses, I came across the majors. A quick look at the website aroused my attention because of the PDP and rates. Upon arrival I was satisfied with the overall appearance (compared to other courses within 10-15 minutes). The range was adequate for warmup and the front 9 was fun! I only payed ~$10 to play as much as I wanted after 3pm. I will be back as often as I can for practice and if youre in the nearby area and cant find a decent course, I recommend taking a look at the majors.

In my opinion not very good.Fairways and tee boxes need a lot of work.And whats up with the lack of water coolers on such hot days? I came from Vero Beach for this.Joined insider Club and lost 2 months do to repairs when are they going to start?

The fairways are full of crabgrass, the bunkers are a mess, the cups hadnt been changed in days and the greens appeared to have been painted green, perhaps by iron.
