The perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather. And sunrises are so gorgeous.

Wonderful park on the St Johns river where it is 3 miles wide. Drone shots at sunrise. Military Memorials. Fountain. Torpedo. Its a beautiful place.

Cute park. We road bikes here and had a blast! Very pretty.

Beautiful spot on the river to take in the view or launch your boat. Bike a little ways north to see the cute downtown.

I love the waterfront. Its a great place to walk or sit. The fountain makes a great place for photos.

A beautiful place that has loads of potential, especially for fishing but it was very dirty and grass looks like it had not been mowed in weeks. I pray that it will get done so more people are attracted to this fine fishing hole. God bless and Jesus love you all. Always remember if everyone picks up a piece of trash it will stay clean.

This is really a nice place, its probably the only nice place in Palatka to take your kids.

I am happy to have a little park on the river, but it doesnt have much to offer for the children. Everytime I visit the riverfront park I think of how nice Spring Park is and wonder why Palatka couldnt have done something similar.

Great upgrades to the riverfront! Fun little spot for kids, community center for small events. Apparently, the zip line will hold a 160lb adult with ease, so release your inner child

Nice. Lots of river front area.. benches and shade.

Went to nearby ravine gardens on one of our lovely Florida days...started out freezing then in an hour or to 80 degrees...needed to change back to shorts. Great stop for that ...nice restrooms. The view along the water and pier super nice too. The pigeons were excessively friendly but not annoying.

Lights to the right of the playground were not on when we got there despite it being very dark. They were however on when we returned from a walk.

Its one of the few places I go and let go of any worldly issues and or concerns and relax but most importantly its the place I go to talk to God and he always paints these awesome most divine portraits right before my very eyes.

Getting closer to being completed after so many years. The new sidewalks are already crumbling in spots. The river views are fantastic. The walk is a really nice stroll. Playground for the kids is super nice. Plenty of spots to sit and wander with great views.It is really great that they recycled the old river road pavers on the upper walk. Looks great!Lots of uneven spots on the walks..be cautious if using a walker or not too sure footed.Overall- very pretty and a great walk!!

We attended the Bartram Frolic and had an opportunity to learn about the historic past of the St Johns River and communities that thrived around it. This children we enthralled with the Native American Culture and the way of life. We partook in the passport to the past that morning and it was all they talked about all day! An excellent event at an excellent location. We look forward to visiting more often.

Gorgeous park. Wished it had more to offer but very relaxing. The best part is there must have had a recent street art show. Gorgeous work

The riverfront is nice, they were cleaning up from the bass master Elite, it was early, homeless man sleeping on the covered dock.

Early morning is the best time. Dogs love it also! Needs a lil maintenance on the shrubbery.

Home town is looking good after all these years

Gorgeous, waterfront public area that’s great for a run, outside workouts, bringing the kids to play, etc. There is a sidewalk that’s runs parallel to the river that works really well for strollers, wheelchairs, etc. There’s also a playground nearby that’s a lot of fun for kids to enjoy.

Simple Park but the kids love it and a great view of the river.

We always love coming here. This is a good place to fish and go shrimping.

This is a great little fishing spot on the St. Johns located under the bridge on the palatka side. Excellent brackish water fishing with an abundance of catfish at low tide and a good mix of saltwater fish at high tide. There are several docks that are excellent for shrimping set aside the bridge in a generally peaceful area. One tip is to use 30-50# braided line as the dock is high up and you will need a way to get them up without snapping mono!

A great place to relax for the whole family. There is a small park with a short zip line. You can walk the docks or sit on a bench by the river and soak in the sun and sights.

A great spot to bring a few snacks and watch the water. Lots of shade to relax under trees. There is a fountain feature and a torpedo as well! Another great public park to visit and chill out.

This is the nicest part of Palatka. The children’s park is surprisingly one of the nicest parks I’ve seen. It has a little zip line for the kids which is pretty cool. The view of the water from the park is amazing and slightly therapeutic. It’s a really nice area to walk, fish, ride your bike or have a picnic on the grass while you watch the water.

Very nice. Love to walk by the river. Cute playground for children, memorial monuments and informative plaques about wildlife and Bartram trail.

I love going to the riverfront. Its so serene and relaxing just sitting on one of the benches facing the St. Johns River.

A great place to go when you just want to refresh yourself with some calmness. The thing that calms you the most is the river, and the soothing sounds. Its better to be here alone, or with a friend, fishing. Now wonder its called RIVERfront park!

Nice area. Blue Crab festival was fun! Really great setup. Had covered areas with tents and fans to sit while you ate or drank!

It was a quiet, peaceful Wednesday afternoon when I visited this riverside park on the St. Johns. An older man was standing on the dock fishing with a seine net, while a young teenage boy displayed his manhood to the girl he was with, heaving rocks into the river. A young woman sat on a bench studying her smartphone, while two parents played with their children in the playground, climbing the slide, a, well, not too zippy zip line. The children were laughing & having a great time. And I, I enjoyed a peaceful respite from my drive back home.

Hadnt been there in years, forgotten how nice and calming it is.

First time Ive been here since the City rebuilt, and I will say they did a great job and they seem to be doing a great job on maintenance, me and my wife will definitely enjoy more lunches at this park, job well done Palatka

Beautiful view.

The park isnt the biggest, but its packed with plenty for young kids to do, including a surrounding fence around the playground to keep children safe. Its a high traffic volume area for sure, and a wonderful place for fishing on land or off one of the many docks. The riverfront makes for a perfect location as a tourist destination and hosts several festivals and fishing tournaments throughout the year.

Beautiful night for a Drum Circle on the Riverfront Park on the water. The weather was wonderful, the location was perfect. Enjoyed myself greatly!

Park was small but had a zipline. Son loved it and the view was great. Definitely needs more than one bench.

Beautiful, sunny day on a Sunday in January. The park was practically empty at 10. My son played at the gated playground that include a slide, mini obstacle course, swings and a zip line. Theres a large covered picnic table and very small, low to the ground table with 4 seats. The playground states that it is designed for ages 2-5. The park also has a small dock, and a stage area, grassy knolls and plef shade trees. The panoramic view of the river is worth any trip. Taking away 1 star for the trash cans that were over filled and trash on the ground around them.

Done some great improvements to this place! Fun to take the kids or go on a walk by the river.

Theyve done a good job there.

Recently they banned generators on the dock, so shrimping is down, and it would be great if the restrooms were open all night. Otherwise not a bad place.

Take the kids there frequently they will love it they even have a miniature zipline

The kids park was clean and all play equipment was in good working order. All kids were being supervised by adults.

Good boat ramp can put in 5 boats at one time! Parking is limited but there is on street parking around as well.

Palatka river front is a good place to relax and look at the river. You have access to the ramp to put your boat in to the river. Lots of things to do at different times of year. Like the boat show, fireworks, parades etc. Your dog would love to take a walk with the beautiful green grass.

River front area is always fairly clean. Large sidewalk runs from the boat ramp to the bridge (access to board walk and bridge sidewalk). Playground area is well-kept, with a small pavilion which covers two picnic benches. Lots of parking for those with boats (many dock slips, too) and vehicles-only. Would like to see more picnic area, but that might negatively impact the cleanliness of the area.
