Great for gatherings like church services. Could use an update to improve the acoustics and sound quality. My nephews school orchestra performed beautifully here!

Totally messed up. Covid testing . Ventura county sent a dozen people there. It was closed. This state is broken
Great place to see a show. Comfortable theater and always organized getting in and out. Could use a better arrangement on their restrooms as the gals seem to always have a long wait. Easy access to parking right across the street. A variety of excellent restaurants within walking distance.
Who would have thought that the city of Oxnard would have its own Performing Arts Center? Well I am blown away by this venue. I recently attended the Pink Martini concert at this venue. The patrons ranged in age from old to young. Every one attending was well received by the most helpful and friendly staff. You couldnt walk more than 15 feet before someone with a smile asked if they could assist you. A beautiful plaza awaits you at the entrance. They have a small but efficient beverage center. The venue holds close to 1000 people. The only negative is that the aisles are undulating and difficult to walk for the older patrons. It was easy with the ushers to find your seats. The exit was quick and efficient. I almost forgot that the parking was plentiful and free. This venue is a true gem for Oxnard.
Nice place, free covid testings are done here at the moment.
Went to get a CoronaVirus COVID19 test. The PAC is run down and needs a lot of work.
Super cool retro building (built in 1968). Went here for the rock and gem show. I hope there is another event here soon so I can go check out the rest of this cool mid century place.
I’ve been coming here ever since I can remember. We celebrate our annual conventions sponsored by Jehovah’s Witnesses. Clean restrooms and friendly/helpful staff make our events a lot more enjoyable.
Older yet large event center. Parking was on both sides of the building yet no signs to help visitors navigate options. When I went to the side street side (wonderful and convenient entrance BTW) one of the main driveways was chained closed. A big oversight considering there were two events happening (requiring lots of parking). Inside the facility was adequate considering it is an older location.
Easy to find. Plenty of parking. Personal eager to help. Its clean. Handicapped access are easy
Came here with my wife for a violin concert. The parking situation is tough, definitely not nearly enough for the number of seats. We had to park along the street and some people even parked across the street. Organization seemed bad with a line of people trying to get to their seats still long after the show should have started. The venue isnt bad but it could really use some organizational improvements.
So useful a place, meeting rooms, and theater for shows, larger rooms for big meetings and or display shows, people working there all care, the Arts need to be part of our lives! I hope it survives. As the City wants to shut it down, boo
It is getting pretty shabby. I graduated from 8th grade there 52 years ago when it was new. Folks are still using it, though, so as long as it is safe, good for them!
Weddings, sweet 15,16,17,18 etc.. birthdays, baptism, religious gatherings great big venue
Nice big parking lot, and can get filled quickly when events happen. Its a nice place, not too big where you cant see whats going on.
The facilities are outdated (50 years old). When visiting here, you can expect to see relatively clean, but dated facilities, seating, equipment, etc. Personally, I would much rather see performances where the ambience is better and the facilities are more modern.I presume that the Center is not booked often, because there are several free family movie showings throughout the year -- all or most that cater to children. The acts that do perform are not necessarily the most popular or well known to the public. Nevertheless, they can and do provide entertainment opportunities to the residents. From the Oxnard Performing Arts Centers website:Since its opening in March 1968, the Oxnard Performing Arts & Convention Center has hosted thousands of performances reaching more than 3 million people. Outstanding Broadway musicals, prominent guest speakers, and musical acts and plays have all graced the centers stage. As one of the larger theaters in western Ventura County, the Oxnard Performing Arts & Convention Center provides outstanding entertainment opportunities to Ventura County residents and visitors. Consisting of 1,604 seats, the theater provides a convenient location for numerous cultural, educational and entertainment opportunities.A combination of distinctive features makes the Oxnard Performing Arts & Convention Center the ideal Complex for business meetings, trade shows, seminars and many other events. With its spacious theater and eight additional meetings rooms, the Oxnard Performing Arts & Convention Center can easily handle the needs of any group up to 3,500 - 4,000 persons. And, the network of enclosed patios provides the perfect setting for private community events, including weddings, receptions, banquets and more. Free parking for approximately 500 vehicles is available immediately adjacent to the Oxnard Performing Arts & Convention Center, plus limited additional parking is nearby.
Saw Cola Boyy and a few local bands. What an awesome event. Beer garden was great also.
Wonderful theater, a gem for Oxnard and for all that are able to enjoy the performances they put on there
Bravo Bravo The Mariachi played wonderful loved the Dancers!
I was here with my friends for a comedy show, and we had a great time. The attendants were great, they helped my friend with her wheelchair with gentleness and care. The place was clean and the atmosphere was warm. I have good memories here, so being back here after all of these years was just great.
This is a nice place to go to different events.
This place here is priceless. So much events happen here in a best area . I graduated here in 2018 and my son and soon to be my daughter getting married here in November of this year . Found out yesterday they gonna close this beautiful memories with so much laughter place . It’s sad Oxnard city need to keep it open
Attended a show called Amber Brown is not a Crayon that was hosted by the Boys and Girls Club. Went with my daughter. The place was nicely set up and had ushers to seat you. The lighting and audio was nice.
Excellent source of Senior support for health, financials, caregivers, etc. Good presentation from half a dozen speakers. A good turnout considering the weather. Drawings, Bingo with a prize and many relevant forms for jobs and health test. Kudos to the Volunteers and Vendor support folks.
Attended the Still Laughing Tour Comedy show this evening and although I knew where the Oxnard Performing Arts Center was, I had never been to any events there. I was pleasantly surprised about the size of the venue (holds up to 1650) and how easy it was to get in and out of the center/location.
Great performance by Take Six and Manhattan Transfer. Well blended and designed to highlight each skill as group and individual
A cool little place to eat and walk.
Always great support save op ac, go to the website
Covid 19 testing site
Best Bingo in town.Sad to see it go.
I saw a wonderful play by Torrence Nivens
Its the best venue in Ventura county
Great space and my group was playing their
Always a nice venue to go to.... I would check Groupon; many times, tickets go on sale there for very good prices. Dont count on having good food for intermissions.... Unless youre really hungry. They basically have prepackaged snacks and store bought hot dogs... At least they dont try to gouge on the food prices.
Awesome place. Daughter went to perform her dance showcase. It was amazing. They did the lights and everything. Was really nice and the seats we clean and comfortable. The staff were very nice.
I dont hate it I have been there before and its a okay place
Had a nice time with my two daughters,Baby bash seen him a few times and Everytimedaughters 2nd time since his saucy cd came out and took them to salzers in ventura
Beautiful performance in a lovely setting.
Love the Pacc, please save the Pacc
Decent parking security was provided by OPD. A major plus!! Sound quality during the performance was sub par! Overall facility experiences was good!.
Nice venue for performing Arts, sound is clear, the view from any seat is unobstructed, and there is Handicap and wheelchair access and seating
The place is good. need a little structural update but its good,
There isnt a bad seat in the house. Good sound even at the back of the auditorium. Mid century modern architecture holds up over all, but the concession stand could use an update.
Great place to watch your favorite music artists/group.
I have been here for some different things, there is a pre school in the Preforming Arts Center and it is one of the best pre schools ever! My smaller cousin went there for two years and let me tell you she learned SO much!! She started of knowing any of her numbers of letters and now she knows all her letters and how to count up to 35! The teachers really connect to the students! I also went to go see a Rio Mesa Dance performance, when I got there I saw a lot of homeless and that wasnt very comforting.
Pretty good venue. Could definitely use some work.
A great place to take in some culture
Very large facility. It has a large auditorium with stage for plays, musicals, or concerts. It has several small rooms that can be used for business meetings, and community events. It has amble parking and is surrounded by parks and athletic fields. The City of Oxnard owns the property.
The park is known to have drug activities which brings the area down.
Large venue, with plenty of seats that have a great view of the stage.
Got my SPIRITUAL FOOD today at the Arts Center.
Good
Beautiful

When to see a comedy show.. it was asome..

Great place for about 1500 people
Manhattan Transfer & Take 6 was a GREAT show
A great location for assemblies for our large group. The management is very nice and considerate in meeting our needs for a enjoyable experience. I cant wait for another event here at the performing arts.
Staff not ready to handle the public. They opened late so some people were not seated when the concert started. There were not enough ushers and those that were there couldnt find the seat very easily
Place maintained in good condition. Lots of different events held here. Good location everyone in the area knows.
Had lots of fun at the fair they organized. My son had a little concert. The place was clean and all organized.
It was an awesome experience.Loved the Santa Cecilia concert. No seat is a bad seat.
Great venue for large to medium groups. Lot of space to choose from. God daughter ballet and performances from her school are priceless memories
I enjoyed the entertainment there. The security and service is excellent
My first time in a concert at OPAC, and it was amazing, good view at the stage from any seat, great sound and lighting.
Classic and timeless venue.Well maintained and managed. The service staff that I have encountered are top notch and have always been attentive and polite.
We enjoyed a community play with children and young adults. Its great that they have the opportunity to participate in a performing arts.
Been here often as the dad of a ballerina but saw a childrens production of Alice and Wonderland. Not theater seating so cushions were provided for.lids upfront.
AMAZING BUILDING, MULTIPLE FUNCTIONS GOING ON.
We have a great time I really enjoy been there Las Cafeteras great performance with the Villalobos Brothers every one was very nice I can wait to go back on March for Santa Cecilia Concert great accommodation.
From Gem shows, festivals to concerts and Omy theater performances.... Great place to go
Went to see the Jeff Dunham show . Loved it so much laughed so hard and sweating wasnt bad
I just went to vote there. But it looks like a great place.
I attended my nieces 8th grade graduation today.
Very nice and clean. Well organized.
Looking forward to going to the craft fair on October 19th
Nice place to have a small gathering of friends and family to celebrate birthday.
It was a great venue, all of the kids there enjoyed it. Only two things kept it from being 5 star. The were not prepared for the amount of ppl that showed up so there was both a lack of seating and they ran out of food. Also, the event ran a bit late so multiple parents and children left before the end due to scheduling differences (bed time). Thank you for showing Moana. I will definitely be coming back again.
Attended Jehovahs Witness assembly here many times. The spiritual food was amazing. I was able to hear the entire program so I am satisfied with the theater.
The Ventura Room is great for parties
Its a very nice venue. Plenty of seating inside . As well as 2 dinning areas near by. Only thing that you may mind is that it shares a parking lot with a park next door so you have some suspicious charachters always around.
Great place.
Nice concert hall and very friendly staff.
Great venue for lots of shows and they have family events too
Its wonderful having season tickets!
This place is so beautiful, because the garden, it is peaceful
Was a lovely ceremony there was lots of room for everyone...
