Great place to view the river and watch the barges navigate the river curve. Good view of the Blue Bridge. A few minutes relieves hours of stress.

We had a lovely candlelight vigil for my niece that had passed. It was really nice.

One of my favorite parks in Owensboro KY, beautiful water front and lots of amazing seating to enjoy the view. Theres more than enough parking for any gathering of people, theres picnic tables for food, and a playground for kids. You really couldnt ask for a better park.

A nice walk in the park, sit under the gazebo looking out over the river, or walk along the rivers edge collecting driftwood. It has a boat ramp.

This park has a boat ramp and great views of the river. The jungle gym itself looks clean and maintained for the most part. Ive seen homeless sleeping on the picnic benches. This park also has a restroom and plenty of parking. There are rows and rows of seating to watch the river.

Its nice here. Has covered areas to picnic n chill. Boat ramp is also nice. And they have the very pretty Riverside seating area.

Only boat ramp with dock for 30 miles. Lots of parking but you will have to walk the hill on weekends. Great dock if people would share. Not a no wake zone so have good fenders when barges go by

My daughter and I had a great time for mothers day. We walk from Smothers park to Enlish park after we ate pizza. Awesome

Nice riverfront park. Small but efficient and quaint playground. Would be good for group gatherings having multiple picnic tables together under cover. Unfortunately this is a location where you will find homeless men hanging out. Also a common place for drug and alcohol use apparently.

Love to this park one day I decided to take my niece here and my nephew and my other nephew and my sister we all came here have fun had a great time look at the river it was beautiful perfect in every way very clean Park very nice very well-established area I would give this a 5-star rating because it was peaceful and it was family fun

A quiet place to go look at the river and fish, its peaceful here, and not to crowded to take your kids and grandkids to play. They have a covered area with picnic tables to have a wonderful picnic lunch

Took a ride on a riverboat. Like the right of way of a trip in the eastern corridor, there isnt much attractive about this working waterfront. The boats fun though.

A very nice area to relax and take in the scenery. A great overview of the Ohio River, and nice foliage for photos and bird watching. Complete with a pirate ship playground for your childrens entertainment and and a covered picnic area when you just wanna enjoy the outdoors.

You can meet all kinds of people at the Parks in Owensboro! Great boat dock, city keeps it clean & most of the time dog friendly! Some on leashes & some arent!

The park over looks the Ohio River. During the spring and summer its s great place to go to eat lunch and enjoy the view. Not so much during the winter.

Love sitting and watching the river. There are tug boats and a boat launch. There is a park for kids to play on. There are swings facing the water. Also a pavilion that has power and picnic tables.

Not a lot of kid traffic at this park so if ur 2antin g to tak ur kids to a park and just watch them its a ok place but id actually watch them cause a lot of sometimes sketchy ppl just hang there and homeless
