We enjoyed ourselves at a bull riding/rodeo. The seating was pretty good from wherever you sit and the snack bar was quick and affordable in comparison to other event arenas I have been too.

Had a great time watching the boys regional semifinals. Not a bad seat in the house. Hope we can keep the regional championship there. I think it means more for kids to play in that kind of atmosphere.

Have shot sports as an independent media person for years.NASCAR, H1 Hydroplanes KWC basketball and several high school games.Tonight was the first time I was restricted.Not everyone doing event photography works for a paper. Though the Sportscenter and KWC have used my work.No longer will I attach Spprtscenter for location.

The building itself was fine, maybe a little hot. Went for the circus with family. General admission is not wheelchair accessible as it is all upper seating. Music was super loud yet entertaining. Very expensive activities that presented to be a part of what you paid but isnt.

Awesome time seeing Kansas in concert. They were extremely accommodating for my father who is handicapped and walks with a cane. They were able to provide us with handicap seating and were nice to us. I did happen to be in the middle of a situation where a lady ran up and interrupted a usher while she was talking to another guest and the usher wasnt having it lol. She let the interrupter have it lol. All in all, staff were very helpful. Lots of drunk people. Just be ready for that if you go for a concert where they are serving.

Pretty great gym! Had 3 women basketball games there with Muhlenberg. It certainly had a better gym than MCHS, but I think I’m kind of bragging a bit. Oh well, great gym!

Been here most of my life, my brother took me to KWC ballgames, then me and my wife went to the GAMES when Wesleyan was king of the roost. Lots of memories. Dont go much any more. Big enough for me, cause theres not a bad set in the house.

SC needs some remodeling. Same chairbacks since 1949. The older bathrooms are awful. Nice floor.

Attended a high school basketball tournament there in January. The facility was clean but showing its age. The upper area seating was 1950s era wooden bleachers with original concrete floor and steps. The lower arena had comfortable plastic chairback setting but not much leg room. I didnt see any handicap accessible seating and saw 2 men lift and carry an elderly woman from her wheelchair to the seats. The restrooms were very clean and well lit. Though there were several concession stand locations, only one was open and this resulted in long lines.Overall a good experience. Our team won...lol.

Enjoyed the 2A tournament there this year!! Was the 1st of what I hope will be many more to come. My husband had an opportunity to officiate several games and Im telling you, we had a really great time. The staff was excellent and the atmosphere was set for basketball fans everywhere to come and enjoy. Thank you!!

Cheerleaders and halftime games need to be better coordinated. Other than that its the same as any other sporting venue $3 bottled water and $5 burgers. Great games GO ACES

Clean, spacious, handicap accessible, concessions have decent options. I do wish the wooden seats were a bit bigger. I have good memories from all of the years Ive been going there.

Nice place to hold a gun show. There was plenty of choices for food service and they had clean restrooms. Parking was convenient.

Great place to watch sporting events and wrestling. They have free parking which is really cool and their concession stand prices are very affordable which is a major plus. Wish they ran more big events here.

Zach Hopewell was teammates with Ja Morant at one point so maybe some of his skills rubbed off on us #OwensborosBest

We had season tickets here for the basketball team. Usually there were no issues at all. We had great seats right on the floor. However, near the end of the last season that we had tickets one of our seats had gotten broken. The sports center never fixed it. That was a real shame since our seats were paid for in advance.The seats were section B Row 1 I believe seats 8 & 9

Came here for a bull riding event and had a great time. They had beer and great snacks and food there too.

Visited for the X-fest concert and have to say, was impressed with the seating and how even in the chairs was still able to see the band!!

Attended a wrestling event here. Good sight lines, nice atmosphere for the show. Bleachers in the upper level and chairs on the lower level. Concession stand was pretty standard and moderately overpriced. The place was clean, including the bathrooms and the staff I interacted with were friendly.I wasnt real happy with the reentry policy (you cant reenter for any reason) as I couldnt run out to my car for something I forgot but I wasnt sure if that was a building policy or an event policy. Either way, it was a lame rule.

One of the most historic venues in the state of Kentucky that is very underappreciated. The number of sports, music, entertainment acts who have played in this building is unmatched by anything around.

They sold 4000 plus tickets to a rodeo and the concession stand was way under staffed and way under stocked. Could really use more restroom capacity for big events. Staff was friendly and helpful is the reason for 2 stars and not one.

Me, my kids, and my friend came for the bull riding rodeo and had a blast. The show was great. The Sportscenters staff were polite, friendly and helpful. There were plenty of vendor options for snacks and adults had the option to grab a beer or a mixed drink to enhance the experience. Id attend another event there in the future, and have been to many in the past.

I loved it. I had a fun time with my first experience with ice-skates it was hard in the beginning but near the end when we was close to leaving thats when I got more control with the skates and I didnt want to leave.

Nice gym very clean and big

This is such an antiquated facility its embarrassing to the community. People can not get from one side to another without going up to the upper tier and walk around all over people. You need a facility with concessions and bathrooms on the upper deck and its totally not handicap accessible. Its just awfulYouve built everything else new in this town and the one thing that would compliment the facilities downtown you flat out refuse to build. Everything has been built just small enough it can not pull in the big shows or sporting events. Ditch the sports center once in for all. By the way those bathrooms are a joke.

This place really is Kentuckys number 1 sports town. Clean, professional and friendly. I especially appreciated Ben and Lucas of the staff. Cant wait to come again next time I visit Owensboro.

Went to see the Kentucky Mavericks game. It was good but the seats were a little bit small for me. The popcorn wasent all that good. But other than that the game was good. The halftime peformance and timeouts was great! So the experience was pretty good.

This historic venue has seen many a basketball game, graduation and other events. Modernization should keep it viable for years to come, hopefully!

Very expensive concessions. We do not live in Louisville and Lexington! The quality is not worth the price.

Parking terrible. Facility old and has out lived its usefulness. City should hang their heads in shame.

Complex is small, but there were plenty of vendors fit into the arena for the Knife and Gun show.

There for Brothers circus, a total cash grab, 15 for popcorn, features not present, $20 for face painting.

Didnt like the $10.00 parking fee, but aside from that, it was nice.
